Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone - Pablo
Welcome to the first part of a mini-series of posts in which we will gradually reveal the contents of the new Megapatch, the premiere of which is just around the corner. Of course, we’ll not reveal literally everything - this will happen on the day of the update's release. We’ll show you what we think are the most important and exciting new features that will appear in the game.

Let's start with something light... Or heavy. It depends on your point of view. Because the first thing we’ll show you is a new weapons in the arsenal. The first of them is the sledgehammer - a huge hammer that can deal massive damage to enemies.



Like other weapons in the arsenal, this one is also fully modifiable. So there is nothing to stop you from creating an even bigger hammer, which, for example, deals additional damage with ice or electricy.





Of course, the disadvantage of such a weapon is its slowness in dealing blows. You have to swing hard to be able to land an accurate strike. Therefore, for those who value speed in fighting with enemies, we have a suitable alternative - a heavy machine gun.



A powerful rifle with an equally capacious magazine can wreak havoc, regardless of whether you're attacked by a single enemy or a whole horde. Perfect for close combat...



...and from a distance (after modifications).



Of course, you have to reckon with the fact that reloading ammo in this beast takes some time. But that's a small price to pay to effectively (and effectively) deal with the filth that's rampant in the Zone.

On Askiy Ridge, a new adventure awaits with 13 missions and the opportunity to explore everything from the pine-covered peaks down to the frost-swept grasslands in search of the perfect hunting spot.

Just be careful of falling trees, a sure sign of the preserve’s most hardworking creature.

Along with the new preserve, you will also get the Laperriere Outrider .30-30, a new lever-action rifle. This rifle has a side-loading and side-ejecting design and is suited for small to medium game.

Hello drafters,

We have released a patch this afternoon to hotfix a a few issues caused by the introduction of the “hold to skip” cinematic feature in our update last Thursday:
  • Fixed a bug introduced by our latest “hold to skip” update that would sometimes remove the Step Count UI if a player briefly pressed escape/back button during a cinematic but did not actually skip it.
  • Fixed a bug causing players to fall out of bounds, if they skipped a certain cinematic SAFE H _ _ _ _ ) during a narrow window of timing during that cinematic (around 2.5 seconds after the cinematic started playing.) Now, you can now freely skip this cinematic at any time.
  • This one is a bit more spoiling: Fixed an issue that was causing Antechamber Lever pulls to be occasionally off-sync in a certain monk related situation. Players who encountered this bug may have interpreted it as the levers not working, but they were merely functioning backwards. Antechamber levers in this situation will once again work as expected now.
This update is live on Steam now. Xbox and PS5 players should expect to see this update in a day or two.

Memory's Reach - 100 Stones Interactive
Huge news! I am very excited to announce that a brand new demo for Memory's Reach is now available!

This demo has been prepared for two big upcoming events in which Memory's Reach will take part: the Cerebral Puzzle Showcase, taking place from May 29 to June 5, and Steam Next Fest from June 10 to 17.

This demo takes place at the start of the game and features the introduction sequence, hub area, and first major level. In addition there's also a bunch lore, secrets, and extra hidden content as well!

I have been eager to release a new, longer demo for Memory's Reach ever since releasing the pre-alpha demo last year. Where as that demo was a deliberately short demo designed for trade shows, this new demo is a much longer experienced built for enjoying at home and includes a hefty chunk of content.

All up this demo has around 2 hours gameplay including new areas to explore, puzzles to solve, and secrets to find.

You can play the first portion of the demo right now, with the second portion unlocking when Steam Next Fest begins in June.
