Hey, nice to see you again!

Finally I got a chance to provide updates that will enhance your experience from the demo version, so if you didn't try it yet - now it's a great opportinuty for it!

Most of the reported issues are related to UI, so I did my best to deal with them. To improve reading experience, I recolored UI, so now text has to be easier to read. Also I reworked the way how text is displayed: now it is written word by word instead of char by char and it is supposed to make iteasier to read.



It was difficult to see what button is focused, especially it was confusing on the level complete window. So it is where Olaf himself is going to help us nailing every answer option. Literally. Now you can see Olaf hammering the active button, I found it both cute and useful.



For users with wide screens I added limits on how wide UI can be. Also I fixed level centering, so now levels should not be hiding somewhere. Please, let me know if you think that the dialog box is still too wide.

So give this demo version a try and share your feedback!

This patch fixes a crash, makes treasure find potions much cooler, makes specific gems more common in specific biomes and/or from specific monsters, and fixes several other minor issues.

Last time, we introduced you to the slimy menace known as the Slurk, a mucus-coated brute with tusks and a temperament as slippery as its trail. But the horrors of Gauntlight Keep run far deeper than amphibious ogres. Today, we’re giving a quick look at what we’re preparing for this summer, including awesome events we’ll be attending, and we’re diving into the thick of it with an unsettling look at several of the monstrosities lurking below. Prepare yourselves!

Ghoul

Not all who descend into the darkness die. Some hunger! Ghouls are undead cursed by ravenous, unending appetites for the flesh of the living. Born from necromantic corruption or cursed affliction, these creatures retain twisted remnants of their former selves, driven by primal need and a sinister cunning. But in the depths of Gauntlight, ghouls are more than scavengers, some are devotees.

Among them dwell ghoul cultists, once-living fanatics who willingly submitted to undeath in service of Belcorra’s dark ambitions. Adventurers uncover a macabre underworld beneath the keep where these cultists preserve ancient rites, perform grotesque rituals and jealously guard the secrets of undeath. Their lairs reek of rot, their minds are twisted and their claws strike fear into even the most hardened heroes.
