Thank you all for your patience while we iron out the bugs and for reporting them! Please know that some bugs are harder to reproduce, which makes them harder to fix. We prefer releasing smaller and regular fixes over keeping you waiting for months to iron out that last bug.
We're organizing the first mapping jam soon as well, so I hope you're training your level editing skills ːCotcShovelː
The time has come, after 4 years since the Early Access began, Two Strikes has finally reached version 1.0!
It’s been a journey full of challenges, with ups and downs, moments of doubt, and periods when it seemed like the game Retro Reactor envisioned would never see the light of day. But today, after all that, we’re proud to present something that we’re all truly proud of.
With eight different characters, cross-platform online play with rollback netcode, and a story mode that will delight all lore lovers… today we can only say that this is the beginning of a new era!
A heartfelt thank you to our entire community, none of this would be possible without you.
Stay tuned for future updates and DLCs, but today… today it’s Strike or Die in the Tournament of the Souls!
Today, we are starting a new contest, which will test your skills when driving a specific vehicle type. This time, it'll be the XM2001 Crusader.
In this contest, we’ll be asking you to deal as much damage as possible while driving the XM2001 Crusader Tier 10 Premium SPG. You can compete in two categories, separated by mode:
PvP (Random Battles)
PvE (excluding Heroic Special Operations)
Post the screenshot of your result (both the detailed and regular tab) in the dedicated contest channel on Discord along with your name, category and result number. We also reserve the right to ask for a replay, so make sure you record your battle. The submission template is as such:
Category / Result / Ingame nickname
Attention – as we will be using a program to collect your results, please make absolutely sure you submit them with the template above. Submissions without this template will be ignored.
As an example, “PvP / 50000 / Johndoe” is correct, while “PvP/50 000/Johndoe” is not due to the incorrectly placed spaces.
The contest ends on May 27, 2025 (22:59 CEST) and all entries must be submitted by then.
The prizes are as follows:
The 5 winners of each category will receive:
First Place: Iron Will skin for the Crusader and 10.000 Battle Coins
Second Place: Iron Will skin for the Crusader and 7.000 Battle Coins
Third Place: Iron Will skin for the Crusader and 5.000 Battle Coins
Fourth Place: 3.000 Battle Coins and 2 Battle Coin boosters
Fifth Place: 2.000 Battle Coins and 1 Battle Coin booster
Please note:
One player can only submit one result, period
All submitted results must be from the battles that take place during the event
If you own the prizes already, you will receive their price in Gold instead
Platoons are not allowed
The winners will be announced and the prizes will be distributed after the end of the event

Hey, Aces! Didn’t satiate your Writs-hunger the first time around? Well grab your fork (or a Warclub) and get ready for our second (and longer) Wild Writs Weekend, serving up the same satisfying bonus Writs at more Danger Levels – including Danger Levels 2, 3, 4, or 5.
No codes, no fine print—just play the game, earn more Writs, and repeat (all long-weekend long). This event is open to all Aces.
> START: Today! Fri May 23 @ 6:00 AM PT / 9:00 AM ET > END: Tues, May 27, 2025 @ 8:00 AM PT / 11:00 AM ET
What are Writs? Writs are used to earn cosmetics and style rewards from inside Curios. They are earned as you play primarily by completing daily Requests. What's boosted? All Ventures will award extra Writs based on the Danger Level:
Danger Level 5: 25 Writs
Danger Level 4: 20 Writs
Danger Level 3: 15 Writs
Danger Level 2: 10 Writs
How do I maximize my boost?
Aim for High Danger Levels: The tougher the Venture, the more Writs you’ll earn. Danger Level 5 offers the highest payout.
Bring Your Crew: Running as a group helps you clear faster, stay alive longer, and maximize your Writs per hour.
Go seize the day, pocket the payoff, and enjoy the weekend!
It's been a while since we last got in touch, but now we're back with a massive update for Truck Mechanic: Dangerous Paths, and trust us – it's been worth the wait! We've packed in a ton of new features, interactions, and systems to keep you busy on the perilous roads... Let's dive right in!
New Interactions
We've significantly expanded the range of uses and interactions for your tools. You can now open and repair gates and signs, or even demolish blockades using your trusty machete. You can also pick up new objects such as cash, skill books that grant free skill unlocks, and customization items. Additionally, the bolt cutters are now useful for slicing through certain fences, while the winch can be used to break down terrain obstacles. And that's not all – keep an eye out for paint buckets scattered around in-game locales to alter your truck's color scheme and give it a fresh new look!
New Reputation System
With so many new interactions, we've also revamped the reputation system. To progress through certain missions, you'll now need to attain specific reputation levels. And how do you do that? By completing side quests, cargo deliveries, and smaller tasks that earn you reputation points. It's time to step up and prove your worth!
Skill System
Finally, the long-awaited skill system is here! We've introduced 4 distinct skill categories: Driving, Mechanics, Exploration, and Economy. Each skill can be purchased with the cash you've collected or, as mentioned earlier, by finding special skill books hidden throughout the world. Unlock them to gain a strategic edge and further tailor your playstyle.
Misc Changes
In addition to these major inclusions, we've revised the tutorial system to make it clearer and more informative, ensuring that every newcomer knows the ropes. We've also introduced a guidebook where you can revisit essential mechanics or view gameplay tips at any time. Not to mention, the game now has full controller support, updated UI, and numerous other quality-of-life improvements to make your journey smoother than ever before.
Stay tuned for more updates and keep on trucking! If you like what you see, consider adding Truck Mechanic to your Steam Wishlist!
At the same time, we would like to share some rather unfortunate news. We originally planned to release the game in June, but due to longer-than-expected development time, we are now aiming for a July release. We sincerely apologize to everyone who has been waiting and kindly ask for your continued patience until the release.
If you encounter any bugs or have any questions during gameplay, please post them on the Steam Community, and we will do our best to respond.
