Added Fullscreen Mode/Resolution Settings Now customizable via the Settings interface.
Added Tier 2 Dungeon prompt after first Tier 1 clear
Optimized Enemy Decks in Tier 1 Floors 1-10
Spatial Anchor Stone at Scavenger: No longer breaks
Introductory cutscenes have been added for each character, revealing their backstories.
The appearance of the global map screen has been improved.
When equipping units, icons are now displayed on relevant slots if suitable gear or weapons are available.
Geometry and design of several locations have been improved: jump links, textures, enemy spawners, combat zone borders, and various objects have been refined.
The visual appearance of settlements has been updated, and building overlap issues have been fixed.
Texts and descriptions of several quests have been corrected.
The next village defense quest is no longer given immediately after completing the previous one.
Squad commands (Attack, Hold Position, Follow Me) are now preserved when transitioning between stages.
Sound, animation, and water effects have been added when capturing a ship in the first location.
Footstep sounds on different surface types have been fixed.
Some character animations have been improved and corrected.
Fixed: class filters did not work on the weapon trading ship.
Fixed: sudden lighting changes on floor surfaces in certain scenes.
Fixed: the game could crash after reassigning keys.
Spotted text issues have been resolved.
Numerous other minor fixes and improvements have been made.

It’s been a while, almost a year since the last update here, so I wanted to take a moment to share where things are at and what’s been going on behind the scenes with Serial Victims.
Over the past year, I’ve actually rebuilt the game from scratch. That might sound a bit drastic, but it’s been the right move. A lot of the original features are still here, but things are way more stable, cleaner, and overall more solid to build on now.
What’s New
Basically, everything, I will be posting new screenshots of the game in the upcoming weeks getting into some reworked and new features.
Lately, I’ve been mainly working on the main game menu, along with proper settings and keybinds. I know it’s not the flashiest part of game development, but these small quality-of-life things matter a lot, and it really helps to tie everything together.
I’m also wrapping up the ability to save your progress, which is a pretty big milestone for how the game plays and feels. I’ll be adding some screenshots of the updated game menu in this post, and I plan on sharing new gameplay images in the next few weeks as more pieces come together.
Improved trailer
A lot has changed visually and mechanically since last year, so I’ll also be working on a new trailer soon that better reflects the direction Serial Victims is heading in. The current one’s feeling pretty outdated at this point.
On a fun note: the Steam wishlists have been steadily going up, which is really encouraging to see. To celebrate that a bit, I’ll be making a small video for the YouTube channel that ties into that somewhere in June.
Localization (Maybe?)
I’ve also started looking into localization options, which would allow the game to eventually be played in multiple languages. It has been requested by multiple people so I will try and implement that. That said, it’ll most likely launch in English only at first, but the groundwork is being laid so more languages can be added down the line.

Participate in the event to unlock great rewards, including the limited-time selection of 10 sets of classic Legendary Sealed Attires and 16 groups of Emotes. Additionally, we have prepared a special bonus for all Warlords: the first opening is free! This time, let's leave no regrets! Event Rules: (1) The first opening is free. II. Other Bug Fixes and Optimizations
Fixed an issue with the range display of [Schutzdieners]. Fixed errors in icons and attribute text on the Mastery overview interface of [Ironcap Bowriders]. Fixed an occasional issue where yellow dot prompts could not be cleared in the Unit Tree interface and Honour Store. Fixed an occasional issue in the Pursuit interface where weapon icons would not display properly. Fixed an issue with player names occasionally shifting abnormally while marching in the world. Fixed the issue of Food not being consumed in Neutral or Hostile areas after leaving the Warrior Showdown battlefield. Fixed an issue where information would not display when clicking the Outpost during its rest period. Fixed an issue with page number display anomalies after paging in the House and Alliance list interfaces.

So, we thought it would be cool to give you the chance to experience the game as you've never been able to before. You know, cutting time on some tedious processes and letting your imagination truly shine. In other words, please welcome the free construction mode with unlimited possibilities!
The Construction Mode on consoles is coming soon, too!
So, how about building the greatest constructions imaginable in SFOY? Maybe an Eiffel Tower or a replica of some old fancy castle. Or something that has never been built before. Let your imagination shine.
And now, to the details!
You can choose the Construction mode right from the main menu. What does this new mode mean?
Unlimited crafting and building. All recipes are unlocked.
All locations are open and ready to be settled
Animals don’t notice the player.
No negative statuses.
Immortality and flight mode (double jump to activate)
This mode has no character development and no story progress. All game content will become available immediately, so keep it in mind if you are a new player. In that case, we recommend playing the game in normal mode first.
Also, please note that the game performance may be affected if too many objects are created in your save.

As requested, we’ve added a small new location with additional coal, iron, and copper deposits! You’ll find it inside Emperor Mehkrahn’s underground palace, hidden behind wooden gates—break them down with any weapon to access the riches. We’ve also squashed some pesky bugs and made tweaks.
Here’s what’s new in this patch:
• New mini-location – Extra coal, iron, and ore deposits added.
• Window bug fixed
• Increased the map box
• Skeletons in the Ruins buffed – Fight smarter, warriors!
• Increased arrow stack size – Carry more ammo.
• Fixed Pierre’s quest reward – Now correctly gives lockpicks for "The Family Ring" quest.
