🛠️ Modding Tools Updates

Loadouts are now modifiable – customize what gear players start with. (did we say to check the doc already?)

Modded backpack items now show up on your character!
Added missing NPC functions for modding, NpcSetFootstep() and NpcSetHp()
📖 New Game Events for Modding
Trigger your own stories and systems with these new mod-accessible events:
"enter_hub" ➡️ Called once when the hub room is entered. This means when you start a new game/load a save, or return from a raid.
"enter_raid" ➡️ Called once when the raid is started. Specifically this runs right after you continue past the loading screen.
"exit_train" ➡️ Called once when the player gets off the train during a raid. This is performed immediately after the player position near the train.
"player_spawn" ➡️ Called once when the player spawns into the world. This will occur when you first enter any (Game Maker) room/level.
"player_death" ➡️ Called once when the player dies during raids.
"trade_completed" ➡️ Called whenever the player successfully completes a trade with a trader.
Show us what you can do with them. We also lovingly updated the documentation with all of this and more, don't forget to check it out!
🔚 ZERO Sievert Out
We really wanted to push this update out as soon as possible as many of you are hard at work on mods at the moment. The team has also started working on the next major update, so stay tuned!
The Acantha X Corporation is proud to present the latest in our military robotics line - the ODY-6 Sentry Support Bot! Protection is at your beck and call with this brand new mechanical marvel, boasting a range of in-battle capabilities that will support you in the fight. When you're lost in the darkness, the ODY-6 will light the way!
Your ODY-6 Sentry Support Bot The Orpheus is a dark and dangerous place, but luckily you have an ODY-6 by your side! Created as a "Soldier's Best Friend" for the Acantha X - Freorra war, they are the perfect multi-tool for many problems that any Orphean might come across.
No matter how bad it gets, the ODY-6 is there to support. Typically, you'd only see an Acanthan officer or special operative have an ODY-6 unit at their command... however, after waking up on the Orpheus, this unit seems to have attached itself to your biometrics. How lucky!
If it wasn't for ODY-6, it'd be near impossible to get around the Orpheus. Especially when it comes to opening locked doorways, hacking terminals, and opening chests. That's right, it's so much more than a flashlight.
Thanks for reading! We've got some big updates coming to our next playtest on the 23rd of May. Be sure to join our Discord channel to get the latest updates. See you in the stars 💫

Welcome BACK to Table Ball FUnity. This will be the LAST update for Table Ball FUnity aside from bug fixes. (Note, FUnity is pronounced Fun ity. The F is not what you think it is.)
At this point Unreal Table Ball is expected to completely overtake Table Ball FUnity in Q3 or Q4 2026, however in keeping with my commitment to game preservation, Table Ball FUnity will ALWAYS be available in the FUnity branch.
On another note, the development of Table Ball will no longer be done through Lockyz Media, rather then keep with the same deadlines and other constraints I set on Lockyz Media developed games, I've instead decided to... branch off... from Lockyz Media for games that I'd like a little more freedom in. Basically, Unreal Table Ball will contain A LOT more experimentation, however updates may decrease as I focus on other projects.
Known Changes
Due to... well not working on this game in quite a LONG time, I've forgotten quite a LOT of the changes I made here. So the ones I can actually remember are listed below.
Updated Unity version to 2022.3.61f
Replaced Discord GameSDK with Discord SocialSDK
Fixed various achievement issues
Removed quite a LOT of unused assets (The game should not only take up less space, but should also be quicker to load.)
There are now 10 different encounters in the game, 5 of which will appear in a run. You can see your encounter history beside the tower, as well as your opponents encounter history.
Day 3: Always Priest (gives Max HP)
Day 4: Pirate Potion Seller Shieldbearer Warrior
Day 6: Chronomancer Elder Enchanter
Day 8: Always Cleric (Gives Max hp / regain hearts).
Day 9: Celestia Master Aldros
Balance:
🔴Darksteel (Common): 25 damage --> 20 damage.
🟡Cursed Necklace (Legendary): No longer works on Natures Call.
Moon knife triple weren't actually fixed last patch, but now it has been fixed for good. Triple moon knife gives +32 XP.
Protector and Lifeguard now removes temporary damage/shield from Flamy Way Axe and Blazing Bull.
Other:
The Max HP cap has been increased to 15K.
You now gain +30% max health on level up rather than +25%.
The medic has gotten a new job as a priest.
Items now show a gold coin icon instead of "$". A dollar sign? Come on that was kinda troll.
As always, the PvP environment will take an hour or two to flush out old/unnerfed player builds from the pool. Early round builds will be flushed quicker.
