4 months ago I announced that Synth Beasts would be coming to Kickstarter, and... I'm excited to announce that it has JUST LAUNCHED! Check out the campaign here.
It's a Monster Taming Action RPG, so think Pokemon with real-time combat and a Metroidvania-inspired open world. It's also got a free demo here on Steam, so go check it out on the store page!
There are 2 main reasons I decided to bring Synth Beasts to Kickstarter:
Firstly, while the game's core development is almost done, I want to bring it to as many platforms as possible. With Soul Stalker, we initially planned to only bring it to Steam and Switch, but because of our awesome porting partners at Origami Panda Studio, we were also able to bring it to Xbox and PlayStation! Now that we have experience doing all of this, I wanted to continue doing so with Synth Beasts, and the Kickstarter make this possible!
Secondly, I absolutely loved involving the community in our previous games' development. Some of the best items, characters, and monsters were all designed by you guys through the creative backer tiers, and Synth Beasts is doubling down on that.

Design a Boss ➜ Create its look, mechanics, and backstory.
Build an Island ➜ Craft a whole explorable area with lore, puzzles, and combat.
Create a Synth Beast ➜ Bring your own playable monster to life.

Build a Statue ➜ Immortalise yourself on the Hero’s Isle with custom visuals and an inscription.
Form an NPC ➜ Bring yourself to life as one of the game's scientists! You get to decide what the NPC says!
Message in a Bottle ➜ Leave riddles, secrets, or heartfelt notes for players to discover.

On 2nd May 2025, A-Rabbit has achieved 2,000 downloads! There are also 40 reviews, including from overseas, getting many thumbs-up reactions! Furthermore, we have no day not be launched the game around the world. Thank you for playing to all users! And we are developing a new machine, slowly but steadily.

Battles
Fixing issue with a freeze during the Frost Golem Fight. Fixing issue with a freeze during the Twin Golem Fight. Fixing issue with the MRI fight that let the chrono points gauge locked during battles. Fixing an issue with the UI on the temporal mist attack. Fixing white screen issue when launching some fights. Fixing UI issues when you flee a battle. Fixing issue when you flee a battle with one character dead. Fixing issue that let an enemy still visible after his death in battle. Fixing issue with temporal Aura. Fixing issues with Toxin and Regeneration that lead to having characters alive with 0 hp or dead with few hp, and the inability to revive the character. Fixing issue when you start a battle during a dialogue. Retrying a combat after a gameover will now heal the team. Minor difficulties adjustment with bosses. Minor vfx bugs fixes.
Puzzles
Fixing UI issue with Fenimale power icon when she join the group. Fixing puzzles not set correctly at first loading. Fixing colliding issue with the background that let the characters stuck. Fixing Issue with Fenimale power in the Stadium Puzzle. Fixing issue with the bumper. Fixing issue with the spikes when a character stay on it. Fixing issue with frozen characters when changing characters while entering a puzzle portal.
Various issues
Fixing clock issue in the Domain which affect the plants growth. Fixing issues that let the enemies frozen when you encounter them. Fixing issue with the lighter quest that makes the NPC reappear. Fixing an issue with Bloom FX.

We’re adding a new patch today with a wide variety of fixes to address your most urgent needs! Additionally, we’re continuing to optimize the game so it can run more smoothly.
The following changes will be applied.
General
Fixed an issue where Vampire mounts could no longer be mounted. Please note that if your horse is currently bugged in this way, for the fix to take effect, you will have to resummon your horse. After it has been resummoned, it should not break again.
Fixed an issue where prisoners summoned to your base through a “Dusk Caller” over a long distance could get stuck in transit, and may never arrive, also causing players to be trapped in a “dominated subject” state. If you are still stuck in this state, you will have to use the “Release Target” ability to escape it. Unfortunately, this will kill the prisoner, but rest assured, there are still plenty of creatures to bend to your eternal will.
Fixed some skinning issues on several armor sets.
Fixed an issue where the names of some of the Gloomrot music box tracks were mixed up.
Fix for Wisteria Wall Growths that could sometimes clip through upper flooring.
Fixed an issue where blood pool blood infusions could not be shown on gamepad.
Fixed an issue where sometimes blood mixer blood quality would show incorrect values.
Fixed a typo in the “Stone Dust” tooltip where it referenced the “Smelter” instead of the “Furnace”.
Claw Skewering leap ability has been tweaked to make it hit more reliably if the server is lagging.
Added placement restriction where stairs cannot be placed on top of gravel pathing. This could create a situation where the stairs became unable to be deleted, due to its connection to the gravel pathing.
Fixed an issue where disconnected players could sometimes die from the sun within their castles.
Various optimizations were also added!
