  • Change: Skill Loadouts should now turn red immediately if you have less skillpoints, instead of requiring a mouseover.
  • Change: Modding API has been expanded further. (Thank you, TabularElf!) Images and sounds can now be replaced, and there's examples of these mods in the mods folder.
  • Fix: Fixed an interaction between free glitched Rerolls and the skill that let you use Blackholes as rerolls.
  • Fix: Fixed Demon Horns ring not properly aligning after previous changes.
  • Fix: Fixed C4 description to have the updated damage.
  • Fix: Optimized suit would make "Drill Versions" go up by 2 wrongly, now they go up by just 1.

  • Fix: Shrapnel Shells now properly scale with Weapon Size.
  • Change: Shrapnel Shells damage adjust, 25 + (2*VERSION) > 20 + (3*VERSION).
  • Buff: ParaSight movement logic and speed reverted to how it was prior to Contamination update.
  • Change: All statues blown up will give Curse and drop a floppy, no matter what.
  • Change: Yuki will no longer spawn if the Statue is destroyed while enemies aren't spawning.
  • Change: Umi should leave more reliably if enemies aren't spawning.
  • Fix: Grammar mistake in Missing Award.
  • Fix: Fixed Funky Carrot saying the wrong cooldown in its description.

Mission Difficulty
Mission by Mission – is the challenge level appropriate for the difficulty level you play at?

Progression and Economy

‘Mech Markets:

GB has a different economy than SJ tied to their overarching narrative. Compared to the Smoke Jaguar Campaign, players should feel pressure from scarcity, forcing some interesting trade off decisions. ‘Mech Unlocks are replaced with random Market rolls making each playthrough slightly different.

The first time a ‘Mech is rolled in the market, they are offered for Credits similar to the Jaguar campaign. But subsequent market rolls will always be for Kerenskys.
Pilot Skills
With a new cast of characters comes new pilot skills and starting points. Given the Ghost Bear Character’s veteran status compared to the Smoke Jaguar campaign, pilot skills and Science Lab Research start the campaign already at a mid level. (With the exception of a single character for narrative reasons.)

Additionally, there is a host of new pilot skills unique to the Ghost Bear campaign that includes both Meta game boosting skills and conditional skills that provide benefits for smart positioning on the battlefield.
Progression and Economy questions:
• How does the starting state of the Ghost Bear campaign feel?
• Are you having to make interesting choices in the Ghost Bear campaign?
• Is the unique Ghost Bear economy fun?
• How do the new Pilot Skills feel?
General thoughts on Elementals. You can use the Radial menu or the keyboard command menu as shown in the HUD.

New achievements – check out the new achievements and try to obtain them.

Bug reporting – please use the bug specific channel to report bugs and include video if you can.

What we don’t need any feedback on yet:
Cinematics are WIP – so expect a lot of weird stuff.
Mission Briefing holotable goes to rainbow after it’s finished. Holotable elements still being worked on.
Intro and outro sequences are still WIP – there will be some pop-in and bad/missing audio with voices.
Audio/dialogue not fully done in missions.
PIPS lip sync/portraits are inaccurate.

  • The "Sprint Mode" setting "Always" is now the default.

this update adds a new multiplayer feature. There is not much to do right now outside of running around the lobby. I am still developing multiplayer mechanics and game world but this will give players a chance to test the online system out.
