New features

Bot support
We've added bot support to Foobar! Now you can enable auto bot fill in your room, which will fill the empty slots automatically, upon starting the game. It will still let in players, who can take a bot's place, and when people leave, bots get filled in.
This is the first iteration of bot support so we would love to hear your feedback about this feature!
Please do note that bots cannot use every weapon and every skills. They can handle sword only too, but their logic is not designed with that rule in mind, so they might get stuck at some point.
For now they can only play DM, TDM and TD.
Added a new category to room creation panel called "VS AI". Here you can play against bots in single player mode, even when roomcreation is disabled (when there is no running playtest).

Spectator support
We've finally added spectator support! Spectators do not take up player slots, can join even if the room is full. Every room has 4 spectator slot available, unless spectators are disabled in the room settings.

Character skin tone
We've added skin tones to the characters! You can now select a skin tone when creating a character. We would love to hear your feedback about these colors!

Other changes
  • Fixed the "Try out" and Shooting Range not working
  • Fixed a bug where respawning in a match would sometimes result in black screen
  • Fixed the Face#2 having wrong eye orientation (cross eyed)
  • Added some cooldown and sound concurrency for character voices, so they cannot be spammed that much
  • Fixed Minefield playing a lot of explosion sound when disappearing
  • Added some sound concurrency for minefield explosion
  • Added spawn protection on Hypervenolate
  • Triple tapping forward no longer results in sprinting
  • Fixed the target purchase duration reset in the shop page upon category changing
  • This was only a visual bug, the actual items were purchased for the desired duration
  • Adjusted the lobby screen to make space for spectator slots
  • Adjusted the lobby creation and edit screen, some of the options were moved to a sub-menu
  • Fixed some collisions on Rooftop
  • Fixed the passive skills not being enabled in Sword Only mode
  • Fixed an issue where Katana charge got stuck in some situations
  • Sprinting and then switching to Rocket Fists no longer result in wrong animations
  • Fixed some coloring issues in the main menu
  • Added some subtle wind to main menu
  • Fixed the character selector images in lobby
  • Fixed the robots in tutorial not moving
  • Changed the tooltip design
  • Added equip sounds to inventory, shop and loadout when previewing an item

  • Fixed an issue where the own base marker did not have an icon in TD
  • Equipping Headphones now hides the character's ear, to avoid clipping
  • Equipping Rocket Fists now hides the character's hands, to avoid clipping
  • Adjusted the Tornado shoot animation to avoid characters hand clipping through the weapon

  • Added directional sprinting
    This feature is experimental, we will evaluate how it changes the game's dynamic, so it may be removed in the future.
  • Fixed spectator panel not showing in some cases
  • Switching tabs in shop no longer loses selection if a variant was selected
  • Added some character optimizations
  • Changed the effects on the announcer voicelines
  • Added a money box in shop, which gives 100.000 credits. This will be removed from the shop when Early access launches
  • Added some text to the lobby browser, when there is no lobbies available
  • Changed the keybind name of "Change side" to "Switch View"
  • Fixed some main menu character idle animation variation
  • Added new ear types to the shop. These don't have icons for now, that will be coming in future update

We would like to inform you that a hotfix update has been released to address several issues that occurred after the April 3 update.

Fixes

Balance Adjustments
  • Mission 1: Conditions for the appearance of player-type monsters have been adjusted.
  • Mission 2: Conditions for the appearance of beast-type monsters have been changed.
  • Mission 2: The number of guest room keys dropped has been partially adjusted.
Bug Fixes
  • Fixed an issue where adjusting your microphone volume in the lobby would also change the volume for other players.
  • Fixed a problem where voice chat would not be transmitted to other players due to microphone device recognition errors.
Monster-Related Fixes
  • Fixed an issue where additional monsters would not spawn when many were spawned simultaneously.
  • Fixed a bug where humanoid and beast-type monsters could not attack certain radios.
  • Adjusted the location of certain radios.
Xenonauts 2 - Goldhawk
This hotfix contains the first batch of fixes for Milestone 5. It fixes two serious bugs - the first being that alien Mind Control effectively never fails, and the second being a crash linked to mind-controlled civilians.

Please let us know if you're experiencing bugs or major gameplay issues as we'll do our best to hotfix any problems as they arise! (We'll be releasing another hotfix with additional fixes onto the Experimental branch on Monday.)

Changes:
  • The ARES now moves as though it is equipped with a jetpack, and it no longer suffers fall damage.
  • Alien Mind Control should now not attack the same soldier more than once per turn.
Bugfixes:
  • Fixed a crash after ordering a mind-controlled civilian to evacuate.
  • Fixed a bug where a failed alien Mind Control attempt would cause a successful Mind Control attack on the same target immediately afterwards.
  • Fixed vehicles suffering instant death from fall damage if the roof they were standing on was destroyed.
  • Fixed hovering vehicles (ARES, Servitor, Cyberdrone) incorrectly suffering fall damage.
  • Fixed the MARS / ARES not properly playing their destruction animation if destroyed by fall damage.
  • The shot information panel (in the bottom right of the tactical UI) no longer incorrectly displays some lines in light grey rather than the normal dark grey, and the +10% Crouching hit chance bonus is now displayed in a consistent manner with the other multipliers.
The Unnamed Game - Ruth
An update has been released.

Deep Space Outpost - NirisGames
A requested addition which makes a lot of sense was to set permissions for traders automatically. This has been added and can be found on the ships comms window. You'll see a little ship icon at the top right, clicking this brings up a window where you can set permissions for different factions and unaffiliated traders. Traders will now have these permissions automatically when they appear.

I've also expanded trading, so that you can buy and sell droids. I'm not sure why i hadn't added this before. Note you can only sell idle droids, so turn off their job roles if there are lots of jobs going on and you want to sell.

With the ability to buy/sell droids, i've now added this to faction contracts, so you can now have droids as the resource part of the deal. I've also added droids as part of the commerce scenario, so your task might be to sell x number of droids.

Patch notes:-

Bug fix about some countries window will trigger Decimal calculate error, such as 0.75 got error output 75.
Such as you use window(USA) version, 0.75 is 0.75 in calculate, but when you use window(Germany) version, 0.75 will calculate as 75.
