Moving forward
I'll soon post an actual roadmap, but for now, know this: there are MANY things I'd love to add to High Seas! For those who don't know, I'm actually a solo dev & this game is my love. I plan to add a bunch more cool things to it!

I'm very excited to announce that Vaporwave pinball has been selected to be part of the London gaming festival's official selection and such, will be playable at the New game plus show in London on the 3rd & 4th April.
It has been so much fun and informative to follow your gaming experience. Just as we hoped for, we got tons of feedback and now we know what to improve for the full release. But you won't have to wait long to play again. The fun is just beginning.
The game will release on 30th of April.
There has been some misconception on when the game will release. On our Steam page it says just "April", which is not wrong but not very accurate either. So let this be the message to clear out any doubts: Versebound will release in exactly 1 month from now, on the last day of April.
We will be working hard this last month to finish the game. Wish us luck :)

Greetings, gods! The next minor content update has arrived, bringing camera behavior improvements, new skills, talents, and Steam achievements! As always, thank you to the community here and on the Godless Discord for your valuable feedback. Now, let's dive in!

A lock icon now appears over a skill’s mana cost when it is blocked.

☄️ Added arrow key support for camera movement.
☄️ Water ripple intensity now adjusts based on battle speed preferences.
The bottom panel now has slightly higher contrast when obscuring the battlefield.
Tweaked some UI-related VFX in battles for better readability.

Fixed the God of Corruption damage bonus not displaying in Lava Field’s description of the Volcanic Swords talent.
☄️ Fixed the Divine Endurance achievement not unlocking properly under specific conditions.
☄️ Fixed some localization issues in Spanish, Japanese, German and Russian.
☄️ Fixed Talvius causing a softlock when dying a second time with Contagion debuff.
☄️ Fixed learned talents being counted incorrectly on the score screen.
Fixed buffs displaying a counter when they shouldn’t (occurred under certain conditions).
Fixed certain UI VFX appearing off-screen in battle, mainly when the camera was repositioned.
☄️ Fixed Demonologists, Cultists, and Stone Weavers causing a softlock under specific conditions.
Fixed some battle UI sound effects not playing under specific conditions.
Fixed the Alchemy Lab offering to sell your last skill.
