Labyrinth Hearts II is being delisted as I want to shift my developmental focus on something other than adult games. LH II is not to the quality of game that I want my games to be at.
Thank you everyone for your support and look forward to posting new games soon!
- Added Diver Cat upgrade prompts when owning Cat Food - Fixed lingering cursor remnants on exit - Fixed room player count display errors - Viewing Area now hides names by default - Fixed negative earnings display in Fish Pond
Your first day is almost here; REPOSE releases April 14th on PC.
You've been tasked with recovering damaged oxygen tanks scattered throughout the facility. Don't ask what they're for. Don't ask where they came from. Aaron used to do the same job. Don't ask about Aaron. Focus on Cynthia: She's kind to you, isn't she? Doesn't she care?

Greetings, Romans! Welcome to our first devblog from the team at Beartwigs! 🐻
We’ll be sharing these every other week, quick peeks into what we’re building, what’s changing, and what’s quietly getting weirder. Let’s begin.
You Came for Us. All 45,000 of you.
When we revealed Romestead at the Future Games Show, we hoped it would spark something. And judging by your response… it did.
There's not just a handful of you. You're a legion*.
*(Technically several legions' worth🤓)
Over 45,000 of you have wishlisted the game, with 20,000+ signed up for the playtest. These aren’t just numbers. It's thousands of you curious about something we’re building. We don’t take that lightly.
So here’s what you’re walking into.
The Gods Are Real. If You Let Them Be.
When Rome fell, the gods were forgotten. Their altars crumbled. With no one to worship them, their power vaned.
But silence isn’t death. Not for them.
One of the first buildings you’ll construct in Romestead is the Altar, the gateway to divine reconnection. The gods have begun to stir again, reaching out in fragments.
“You have called, and I have answered. I am Minerva, Goddess of Wisdom. My mind is clouded, but I see potential in you. There is work to be done.”
She’s the first to reach you. But not the only one. Other gods are watching. And not all will be so kind.
You’ll give offerings at these altars, items tied to each god’s preference: cooked food, crafted gear, or materials from the hunt. These raise your Worship Level, unlocking new buildings, upgrades, decorations and occasionally… side effects.
Worship shapes the world. Favor shapes you.
As you explore, fight, build, and grow, you gain experience in specific skills. That experience earns you Favor Points, which unlock god-specific skills and abilities.
One we’re having a lot of fun with right now:
Shield Slam - Dash straight into the horde with your shield raised. The heavier your armour, the harder they fall. Just look at them go.
A Word on the Playtest
We know a lot of you are eager to jump in, and we’re excited to get you playing.
Playtesting is planned to begin in about a month. If you’ve already signed up, you’re already on the list. If not, you can still sign up on the Steam page.
We’re taking our time because we want this to feel like Romestead, not just a prototype of it. Thanks for your patience. It’s going to be worth it.
Got a Question?
We’ll be posting these every other week, and if there’s something you’re dying to know, tell us.
Drop your suggestions in the comments, and if one catches our eye, we might just build a whole devlog around it.
What We’re Working on Right Now
We’re deep in playtest prep, building out systems and content across the board. This includes:
Items &Treasure - new weapons, enchantments, decorations, and gear. If it glows, hums, or makes your house look cool, it’s going in.
A New Boss - one of the playtest bosses is in development now. No spoilers, but something to keep an eye out for in the future.
The Ruined City - a late-game biome where Rome’s collapse is still visible, and still dangerous.
Also fixed a bug where entering and exiting buildings too fast would sometimes teleport you to a random doorway somewhere in the world. That should no longer happen.
Until Next Time
Thanks to everyone who’s wishlisted, signed up for the playtest, or joined the Discord.
We’ll be back in two weeks with more behind the scenes, maybe a new feature, maybe a mistake we’re still recovering from. Could go either way.

Three fearsome warriors already stepped up to claim the title of FINAL FURY Champion: Niko, Tempest, and Glitch.
Today, we’re making each of them even more powerful, adding additional high-risk, high-reward power moves while introducing another new gladiator: Gaia.
Best of all, you can experience it all for yourself, right now in-game! So, while the app updates, keep reading for the inside scoop.
New Fighter: Gaia - Nature’s Fury Incarnate!
Gaia’s an unstoppable force. Honed in countless battles, she’s a powerhouse tapping into her nature-inspired abilities. As a warrior hailing from a lush jungle planet, she comes to the arena ready to literally control the arena with her powers!
🪨 Tectonic Shift: A long-range AOE that unleashes a cascade of damaging rocks in a straight line. (Performed by moving both hands top to bottom.)
🌿 Nature's Retribution: A tracking vine that homes in on opponents, rooting them in place and leaving them vulnerable. (Performed with a one-hand bottom-to-top gesture.)
Stick around, because we’re going to have a deeper dive with the devs into how you can make the most of Gaia’s powers in a separate blog coming in the next couple of days!
New Powers for Returning Favorites
Whether you prefer long-range precision, close-quarters dominance, or strategic setups, there’s now even more to explore and master with the Characters we’ve already introduced. Let’s take a look at the next wave of powers you can now try out in the latest Playtest Update.
❄️ Tempest
Tempest's icy powers are now even more versatile as the game’s all-rounder. Attack from a medium distance launching Arctic Blasts or control the zone in front of yourself with her new move, Crystalize.
Arctic Blast: A projectile attack, performed with the iconic Hadoken gesture.
Crystalize (NEW): A cone-shaped AOE attack in front of the player that’s both powerful and visually stunning. Performed by moving one hand from bottom to top. It gives off summoning power vibes when you do it.
🤖 Glitch
Glitch’s tech-centric arsenal introduces new tactical options. With its launchers, there’s no need for gestures—just precision aiming and timing.
Tac-Bomb: Deploy up to three bombs that stay active on the floor, detonating when triggered by proximity. (Performed by using the GRIP + Trigger of the Right Controller.)
Homing Missile (NEW): Fire, point, and destroy what you see. A slow-moving, tracking projectile that hunts down opponents, the explosion creates a smoke cloud that you can use to your advantage! Performed by using the GRIP + Trigger of the Left Controller.
⚡ Niko
A nimble street brawler, Niko thrives in high-energy, up-close combat. His abilities favor aggressive players who want to control the tempo of a fight. So OF COURSE we had to amp up his skills with Shockwave.
Proton Punch: A devastatingly quick, heavy-hitting attack. (Performed by moving both hands top to bottom.)
Shockwave (NEW): A close-range Area of Effect (AOE) attack, perfect for disrupting opponents. Performed by charging your hands in front of you and releasing forward.
New Stage: Predatorium – Spiritual Crucible
Welcome to Predatorium—a lush, temple-cloaked jungle nestled deep within the wilds of Mawuli, where warriors clash to earn the favor (and ferocity) of the ancient force known as Ku Yig.
Don’t let the serene waterfalls and emerald canopies fool you—this isn’t a vacation, it’s a trial by combat. A sharp contrast to FINAL FURY’s high-tech arenas, Predatorium brings the brawl back to nature—raw, untamed, and utterly unforgiving.
Only the worthy leave this crucible standing. The rest? Fertilizer.

The Melee is about to Begin!
From here on out, the updates are going to be coming fast and…well…furious. We’ve got more fighters and more features custom-built for competition on the way. Speaking of which, did you know we have a tournament coming up?
That’s right, we’re firing up a community challenge! It’s YOU against the devs, the best players are competing for prizes…and a chance to to join a future “Celebrity Deathmatch.” Sorry we gotta be cryptic about that last bit for now.
