Water Merchant Start – Now unlocked! Players starting as a Water Merchant will begin with everything needed to jump straight in.
New Water Testing Device – Functions like the water testing strip but has unlimited uses and displays the exact composition of the water’s contaminants.
Water Purifier – A new machine that work overnight and can reliably purify water. By default, it can only purify water up to High Quality. Using modules, it can be upgraded to produce Pure Water (+100% Quality is required to achieve Pure Water).
Crime Increase for Selling Mislabeled Water – Selling large quantities of mislabeled water will increase your crime level over time, even if you weren’t exposed when selling.
Expanded Water Trading Guide – The Water Trading Guide now includes more pages.
New Water Trading Customers – new customers related to trading water has been added.
Reworked Existing Water Buyers and Sellers – Improved the behavior and interactions with existing water customers.
New Drain in the Shop – Allows you to dump unwanted water while keeping the bottle.
New Bottle Printer – Dispenses empty small water bottles in exchange for energy.

Storage Bay – Dr. Jackson now sells a Storage Bay (10x10 space), allowing the player to store additional items. It can store everything except other containers.
New Unique Customer – A new unique customer has been added with their own storyline.
Changes:
Reduced Price of High Quality and Pure Water – Prices have been adjusted to balance the game.
Odin’s Expanded Buying List – Odin will now buy all types of supply crates, including those from the evidence locker.
Odin's Budget Increase – Every item sold to Odin will permanently increase his future budget at a conversion rate of 15%, up to a maximum of 1,500 credits.
"Skip Dialogue" Improvement – Pressing the spacebar will now skip the wait time between lines, allowing players to speed through dialogue more quickly.
Balanced Pricing for Water Testing Strip and Tablet
Quick Transfer to Garbage Bin – Players can now use Alt-Click to quickly transfer items to the garbage bin.
Improved Debug Panel UX – Enhanced the Debug Panel (F9) for better usability.
Cleaned Up Debug Spawner – Removed unused items from the debug spawner.
Dynamic Wanted Customer Spawning – Certain wanted customers will now spawn dynamically based on game state.
Metal Ingot Labeling Restriction – Metal Ingot labels can no longer be edited (temporary, until related customer are reworked).
Event Cooldowns – Events now have a cooldown period after ending.
Rent Indicator Improvement – The rent indicator will now include unpaid rent from the previous week if the rent grace period was activated.
Bug Fixes:
Fixed a bug that prevented players from selling certain items at a loss.
Fixed a game-breaking bug where selecting or dragging an item during confiscation would bug the game until restart.
Fixed a bug that prevented the "Dialogue Speed" slider from working properly.
Fixed a bug that kept perk tooltips open when the reputation UI was closed using the ESC key.
Fixed an issue where supply crates could store other containers.
Fixed a bug that prevented the commissary from losing stock during shortages.
Fixed pricing errors when selling items within containers during an active event.
Hello, this is the Dicey Tales development team. This update brings many changes, including the Skill Branch System, which we have previously introduced through our developer notes.
Skill Branch System
All characters will learn new traits/skills or enhance existing ones at levels 3, 6, and 9.
At level 6, you can choose between two traits. At level 9, the effect you receive will depend on the trait chosen at level 6.
To accommodate this, skill balance and hero growth mechanics have been adjusted.
Mechanic Expansion
We have changed and expanded mechanics so that a character’s role and playstyle can significantly vary depending on the skill branch chosen.
[Burn] (Updated): Burn now accumulates stacks equal to the damage dealt. Each turn, the stacks decrease by half, and at the start of a turn, damage is taken equal to the number of stacks.
[Frost/Freeze]: Frost still prevents movement. When Frost reaches 3 or more stacks, it turns into Freeze, which lasts for 1 turn, preventing action. Damage taken while Frozen is doubled, and the effect is removed.
[Enhance]: The next attack deals double damage.
[Coordination]: When an ally within range attacks, you attack together.
[Counterattack]: When hit by an enemy within range, you counterattack.
Additional mechanics, including dice generation and skill enhancements, have been introduced. Over 80 new skills and two new heroes have been added.
Reroll System & New Chronicle Features
The Reroll System has been added as a default feature. You can drag dice to reroll them. Initially, you have 2 rerolls per battle, but you can gain more rerolls through the [Pioneer of Fate] chronicle.
To support rerolling, a new hover feature has been added to check the dice face composition.
The [Mercenary Join] chronicle has been added, allowing you to recruit a hero early in the game.
Tasha and Valla will no longer appear in the early game. They will now join through dedicated events. Completing these events will also unlock them at the inn through a chronicle.
Other Updates
Richard has been added as a new starting hero. He can be unlocked through quest progression and chronicles. Richard is designed to support mage-type characters.
Initial starting heroes will no longer be recruitable at inns.
Three new events have been added.
UI enhancements have been made to improve buff effect visibility.
Performance optimization and cartoon-style lighting have been added.
You can now end turns using the Space key.
New game speed options have been added. Enemy/ally turns can now be distinguished, and a [Ultra Speed] mode has been introduced.
