Long before the Yith'Mor project was finalized, Ellydium had begun developing a guard frigate. As early as 4620 and 4621, there were small leaks of information about the corporation's desire to develop a ship with a new role. The main difficulty in creating the ship later named “Drag'Thir” was that it was almost impossible to use standard Ellydium crystal nodes.
More complex elements were required. The needed parts were removed from living Crystallids only in 4624 for the first time. Information about the Ellydium’s study of these samples was passed on to the UMC and “The Frontier Voice” news agency by a source that remains unknown. Rumor has it that Natasha Cortés herself soon gave a good talking to the informant, making them realize the full extent of their mistakes.
Conrad Dimeni was able to convince the board of directors to use this as part of a promotional campaign for the new frigate. Shortly before the first “Drag'Thir” frigates rolled off the slipway, Ellydium issued a promotional publication about the creation of the new ship. One of the brochures, later withdrawn, indicated that the Leviathan power transfer technology was used in the creation of “Drag'Thir”. Some of the ship’s pilots noticed a suspicious similarity between some of the frigate’s elements and Liu Virus infected ships, but the Ellydium explicitly denied these rumors.
The ship has performed admirably in combat. We will soon be expanding the procurement of “Drag'Thir” for our mercenaries. Nevertheless, there is a proposal to investigate the reasons for the disappearance of “The Frontier Voice” journalist at Pilgrim-11 and the possible involvement of the Ellydium corporation. We need to find out if the unregistered capabilities previously observed in “Waz'Got” are present in this ship as well.
