Hello everyone,

I'm so glad to announce that Comet Force will release next month, on April 17! I have been working on this game for 18 months now, and I'm proud to finally reach this major milestone. Here is a below a teaser. If you have played the demo, you should notice many new classes and enemies! It also features a new track that plays during boss fights. I hope it will get you excited about the release!

Week two of the Act 3 Boss Kill Races has concluded! This week saw a massive improvement across the entire playing field with Angormus once again taking first place overall! Who will step up and stop the sweep? Below you can see who took out the Demigod’s Virtue Unique for each class but you can check out the full ladder here.

-Added Events tab on Challenger. You can now earn cosmetic rewards of previous season events. Currently the first 3 season events of the game are added.

Hello Survivors!

Before we talk about the new features, we'd like to briefly remind the community about the important Raft Physics fix, that kept us busy the majority of 2024.

We've linked the respective Announcements below, for you to read more about it.
So far, we dedicated the majority of our efforts to working behind the scenes, focusing on enhancing the game’s overall stability and tackling long-standing bugs that had been lingering for months. Our goal was to ensure a smoother, more polished experience by refining core mechanics, optimizing performance, and resolving persistent issues. As a result, the game is now more stable, reliable, and ultimately more enjoyable for all players.



Now let's talk what's new in store with this update.

New Passive Debuffs
A passive debuff is a negative effect that happens automatically due to environmental conditions or player status, rather than being triggered by a specific action.


The core mechanics behind these "hidden" debuffs have been in the game for a long time, but they weren’t clearly visible to players. We've completely reworked the code to integrate them with the new Buff/Debuff system. Now, they are displayed on the HUD and stats page, giving you better insight into your character’s condition. This should make it easier to identify what’s causing health loss and help you take the right steps to survive another day.

New Skills
Triangulate, Sextant, and Looter are now available on the Skills page. As you progress, these skills will make their respective actions easier to perform.



Example for Sextant usage (Technical - Simplified)

Level 0
  • To get an accurate measurement, you'll have to perform the measurement within 2 hours from noon and your mirror offset by 10 degrees.
Level 4
  • To get an accurate measurement, you'll have to perform the measurement within 2.8 hours from noon and your mirror offset by 14 degrees.
Level 7
  • To get an accurate measurement, you'll have to perform the measurement within 3.4 hours from noon and your mirror offset by 17 degrees.

In short: The higher your skill, the easier it is to get accurate measurements in less-than-ideal conditions.

New Roles
We've introduced new roles to enhance your gameplay! Survivors get a balanced experience, Builders craft, repair, and dismantle more efficiently, Explorers navigate faster and use tools more accurately, while Looters find more valuable items.



Survivor
This role is the standard role, with a balanced mix of all skills. This is how the devs intended the game to be played. This was called "Normal" before this update.

Builder
As a builder you will be able to craft, build and repair items more easily, and when dismantling stuff you'll get more resources back.

Explorer
As an Explorer you'll be able to paddle faster, triangulate islands that are further away, and you'll be able to get an accurate reading with the Sextant even when the time of day is not exactly 12:00 noon.

Looter
As a Looter you will find more of the useful stuff in lootable chests.

For now, roles provide a head start in certain skills. In the future, they will also grant exclusive blueprints or knowledge automatically, while other players will need to find, loot, or study to unlock them.

With the new roles we aim to create a more diverse gameplay experience!

Hey Couriers!

Thank you all for your interest in the game. As a two-person team, we have worked tirelessly to bring our first game to life. However, it seems that our internal testing was not sufficient, leading to many issues that you’ve encountered. We sincerely apologize for this.

Despite these issues, we are incredibly grateful for your positive feedback and for reporting bugs through various channels. Your support means the world to us. Our biggest motivation is to make the game an enjoyable experience for everyone.

With that in mind, and considering community feedback, we have decided to postpone the Early Access release to Q2 2025 to ensure a more stable and polished experience.

This update includes the implementation of some features from our to-do list and fixes for identified issues.


Fixed Bugs
  • Fixed an issue where the cashier would not deliver the package the next day if a customer was present when the day ended.
  • Fixed potential issues in the cargo production algorithm.
  • Fixed an issue where throwing multiple cargos at the worker behind the cargo truck could cause a break.
  • Fixed an issue where the evening cargo dispatch panel was visible while in the Cargo Terminal.
  • Fixed an issue where the mouse cursor would not appear when returning to the report screen after using Alt+Tab.
  • Fixed an issue where payments had an incorrect due date.
  • Fixed an issue where purchased upgrades did not activate immediately.
  • Fixed an issue where cargo would remain floating when placed on the fridge.
  • Fixed an issue where the mouse cursor would disappear when changing resolution settings.
  • Restored resolution settings.
  • Fixed an issue where cargo could be thrown behind walls.


Improvements
  • Interaction with the Cargo Terminal is now automatic.
  • New dispatch system: The truck arriving in the evening will now request specific cargos.
  • Updated keybinding states.
  • Improved cargo physics and throwing mechanics.
  • Improved customer arrival algorithm.
  • Economy Balancing

Known Issues

Temporary workaround: Some issues may be resolved by returning to the main menu.
  • Customers may sometimes not leave after delivering or receiving cargo.
  • In rare cases, cargo trucks may arrive back-to-back.
  • In rare cases, cargo on the scale may not appear on the scale panel.
  • Some cargo features may become deactivated during day transitions.
  • There is an issue where purchasing the Cold Chain feature prevents fridges from unlocking.
  • Some audio effects are not affected by the SFX settings.
  • When placing cargos on shelves, they may disappear or get stuck in hand.
  • Tutorial objective updates are not functioning properly.

  • Adding a dolly (two-wheeler) for carrying multiple cargos.
  • Improving and polishing existing mechanics.
  • Adding numpad support.
  • Expanding keybinding options.
  • Bug fixes.

Final Words

The demo is a version we have prepared to test the core mechanics of the game. We will continue releasing updates until the mechanics in the demo are fully polished and bug free. If you are interested in the game, don’t forget to add it to your wishlist for more content in the full release.

We updated the game a few hours ago, but we noticed that the evening cargo truck was arriving simultaneously with the morning cargo truck. This patch addresses that issue.

  • Added: "Vertex Color Space" export option for gltf/glb files. This is in case colors need to be in sRGB, and an importer fails to convert it. Otherwise, it is recommended keeping it set to "Linear." based on the specifications of the gltf/glb file format.
  • Added: "Orient UVs" keybinding can be set, and the action can also be pinned.
  • Improved: If in active-edit mode, undoing a split operation will return the unsplit tile as part of the active-edit group.
  • Improved: Gizmo now returns to the copied position (relative to the crosshair) when pasting tiles.
