Calling all artists! We’re thrilled to announce a special loading screen art contest for Wildsoul running from March 10 - March 31. This is your chance to have your artwork featured in the game as a custom loading screen. Three winners will be selected, and their art will be added to the game in the April update as loading screens. Learn more about the prizes, requirements, and submission details below.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Submissions will be accepted from March 10, 2025 to March 31, 2025 in the Official Lost Ark Discord Server. Full terms and conditions can be found here.

To qualify, each entry must include:

  • In-game name, Server, and Region.

Artwork Specifications
  • Dimensions: 1920x1080px, 75 DPI or higher.
  • File Format: JPG or PNG for entry; winners must provide a PSD file.
Important Note: Avoid placing key imagery in the bottom 25% of the image, as loading screen text will overlay this section in-game.


WINNER SELECTION
  • The Lost Ark team will review all entries and select three winners.
  • Finalists may be asked to provide proof of original work to ensure no AI involvement or plagiarism, which may include:
  • A video recording of the creation process, showing major steps (sketching, mid-process, finalizing).
  • If a video is unavailable, screenshots of the layers or progress stages may be accepted.
  • Additional proof may be requested if necessary.
  • The three winners will be announced leading up to the April update.

⁠Control Your Destiny with New Mutators
Why wait for a perfect utopia when you can create one NOW? (Or, you know… when patch v2.49 goes out.) On March 14 Pacific Time slightly before the Season begins, we’re introducing a range of new mutators that’ll allow you to make your own weird and wonderful experiences in Exhibition Mode and Private Matches.

⁠Want the madness of multiple soccar balls? Go for it. Fancy dialing down the ball gravity? Sure thing. Score points for each demolition? Let the explosions begin. Here’s the full list of all the new mutators!
  • Jumps: Take to the skies by increasing the number of jumps you can do at once! Do a double-jump, triple-jump, octuple-jump… Or, turn jumps off entirely and keep the competition ground level.
  • Number of Balls: Why have just one soccar ball when you could have six? Choose between having one, two, four, or six balls in play.
  • Ball Gravity: Alter the ball's gravitational pull and let the mayhem ensue. Options include low, high, super, and good ol’ fashioned default.
  • Dodge Timer: Change the time allowed between dodges. Dial things up to unlimited and avoid ANY obstacle!
  • Possession Score: Shake up the game by allowing players to score points just for staying in control of the ball.
  • Demolish Score: Bring on the destruction! Allow players to score up to three points for each demolition.
  • Normal Goal Score: Go for the goal like never before. Increase the points earned for each successful shot in the back of the net!
  • Aerial Goal Score: Look out below! Increase how much you can score for each successful airborne shot.
  • Assist Score: Teamwork is the key to victory. Allow players to earn up to three points for each assist.
  • Enforce Territories: Get back on your side! This mutator enables the Split Shot wall, dividing teams across each half of the field. Players will be demolished if they touch the ground on the opponents' side.

⁠⁠This change will go live March 14 Pacific Time with v2.49. Speaking of crossbar, Season 18 is celebrating the “Crossbar Queen” Athena with the free CROSSBAR QUEEN Player Title! Find this Title in the Shop’s Community tab from March 14 at 9 AM PT to March 21 at 8:59 AM PT. Her returning “Moment (Worlds Version)” and “Eternal” Player Anthems will be purchasable in the tab from March 14 at 12 PM PT to March 18 at 11:59 AM PT.
Voice Reporting in Rocket League
Being a good sport never goes out of fashion. We’re expanding player reporting in Rocket League to include voice reporting in v2.49. If you play Fortnite, you may be familiar with this feature.

⁠Voice reporting means in addition to being able to block, mute, and report other players, you will be able to submit audio evidence when reporting suspected violations of our Community Rules. This will help us take action against players using voice chat to bully, harass, discriminate, or engage in other inappropriate behavior. Learn more about voice reporting in our FAQ.


⁠Rocket Pass Premium
Your vehicle customization options are about to take a quantum leap! Advance through Season 18’s Rocket Pass Premium Tiers to unlock cutting-edge items and experience the next generation of automotive aesthetics.


Even if this Season were traveling to the past, Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack would still fit in with its clean look. Alternatively, with the more involved appearance of Azura, you can face the future boldly. (Not that you’d need to, because the future looks bright in Futura Garden!)

⁠Let’s continue with something that couldn’t be more futuristic: neon lasers! With the animated Cosmological Decal, your car will look like a non-stop rave. If that doesn’t make you feel like the star of the show, shine like the soccar champion you are with the StarStud Boost.

⁠The fourth state of matter may be too hard to understand in the present, but you can make it common knowledge in the future with the Plasma Ball Goal Explosion. If the geography of the cosmos is more your area of expertise, the Star Chart Goal Explosion might be more your thing!

New World: Aeternum Update 1.3.0.0 downtime will begin at 11:00 p.m. PT (7:00 a.m. UTC) on March 10th and last approximately 1.5 hours. The latest update brings a host of improvements to combat, seasonal events, and the overall player experience. Here are some of the most notable changes adventurers can look forward to:
Combat Enhancements
  • Fire Staff: The Incinerate ability now properly displays visual effects.
  • Void Gauntlet: The Harvester’s Retribution effect from the Conqueror’s perk no longer lasts indefinitely.
  • Dodge Mechanics: Fixed an issue that prevented magic weapon light attacks from firing when canceling from a dodge.
  • War Boards: Resolved a bug where war boards could appear blank during an invasion or war.
  • Consumables: The Cleansing Elixir buff now correctly disappears after leaving Outpost Rush.
Seasonal & Economy Fixes
  • Players can now lock items dropped from the Siege of Sulfur Spoils Boxes.
  • The Mystery Box from the Seasonal World Bonus chapter is now accessible on non-seasonal worlds.
  • Adjusted Season Pass tasks to ensure they can only be completed in seasonal worlds.
Expeditions & World Adjustments
  • Expedition VFX improvements ensure boss effects remain visible, even with lower GFX settings.
  • The PUG Finder for Normal Expeditions now only gates entry based on level, rather than Gear Score, preventing players from artificially lowering their GS.
UX & Performance Improvements
  • UI Stability: Fixed an issue where all UI elements could disappear when reconnecting to the game after leaving Outpost Rush.
  • Audio Settings: Added a slider to adjust the Target Lock sound effect volume.
  • Trading Post Filtering: Items now properly filter down as intended.
  • Collision Fixes: Resolved unintended collision issues in PvE raids and expeditions, which had been disrupting quest progression.

Combat/AI
Weapons
  • Hatchet: Fixed an issue that allowed players to activate Berserk without playing its animation.
  • Heartgems :Fixed an issue where some effects of primal fury could get applied indefinitely.
Game Modes
  • War: Fixed an issue where players could climb into war camps.

Perks
Balance Changes:
  • We have some backend functionality that reduces the attacker's block stamina damage dealt for 0.5s after taking a hit. Previously the value was a 25% reduction, but we have changed that to be 13% reduction.

The Wall Artifact — Chromatic Ward Perk:
  • Reduced elemental base damage reduction from 25% to 13%.
  • Reduced the power of the Refreshing ward perk on older named items that were at 625 GS or lower.
  • Reduced the base damage reduction while grit is active for the 350 CON Attribute Threshold from 10% to 7%.
  • Added a 1s cooldown timer to the Tower Shield functionality of the One With the Shield passive for the Sword and Shield.
  • Changed the tower shield portion of the final countdown portion of defender's resolve to be a fortify instead of base damage reduction.
  • Added a 15s cooldown to the sturdy energy perk increased the cooldown of the stamina recovery perk to 60s.
General
  • Fixed a potential client crash when selecting healing targets via Raid Hud.
  • Fixed an issue where ranged attacks would often miss crawling Ancient Guardians when using Target Lock.

Gear/Items
  • Fixed an issue that was causing the two new artifacts, Fracture and Otzi, to use the wrong floating attachments. They should now display the correct floating accessory when equipped by a player.
Trade Skills - Crafting
  • Fixed an issue where players were unable to craft material-related recipes.
World Experience
Season Pass
  • Clarified the requirements for the Trio of Trials Season Journey Task.
Seasonal Event
  • Fixed an issue where Signifer Nerva could animate incorrectly when starting the Legacy of Crassus event.
General
Notable Fixes
  • Fixed an issue where the respawn screen may not show up for players.
  • Fixed an issue where players could not rebind Numpad 0 on their keyboards.
Social
Emotes
  • Changed description and action text for the Stumble Home Walk emote.
UX/UI
General
  • Addressed issue where raid group members sometimes display as white indicators on the respawn screen.
  • Fix Fresh Start Server Icon displaying along with Seasonal Server Icon.
  • Fixed being able to attempt transfer from a Fresh-Start World to a Seasonal Server.
In-Game Store
  • Limited-time timer no longer overlaps the title of store item.

The Coral Divide Outpost Rush (OPR) preview weekend was a smash hit! With so many players jumping in, the excitement was real—so much so that a lot of you just wanted the map turned on as-is. But of course, we took your feedback and are making some key tweaks before launch.

What’s Changing?

General Improvements
  • Map Size Adjustment – Reducing unnecessary open space to keep engagements dynamic and fast-paced.
  • Terrain Optimization – Smoothing out rough terrain and obstacles that disrupt movement and combat.
  • Improved Visibility – Adjustments to lighting, foliage, and environmental clutter to enhance clarity.

Objective and Balance Changes
  • Resource Node Placement Tweaks – Relocating and balancing resource nodes to ensure fair access for both teams.

Chillquarium - Fish Game Seller
Hey everyone! Here's a patch for a few of the most prominent issues and bug reports I've been getting based on the changes from the last patch.
UX Improvements
  • The game now saves and creates a backup when it is closed via alt+f4 or the exit window button.
  • Achievements now require all 26 fish rather than 25, which was confusing for a lot of people. (Don't worry, if you already had the achievement it will not be taken away!)
  • Reduced volume when opening golden packs.
  • Cards now warn you if the tank has the wrong water type.
  • Card packs now display the water type they need in the shop.
  • Scroll bars are now more prominent.
  • Removed the sell fish hotkey because it was only ever pressed on accident.
  • No longer need to wiggle the mouse to collect cards.
  • Improved performance. This is just two words but it took a long time. Hopefully the game should be running more smoothly with full (and overfull, for the hackers out there) tanks!
Bugfixes
  • Fixed bug where rare fish were much more prominent in golden packs.
  • Fixed bug where golden cards would chime extremely loudly when the game was first opened.
Note About Tank Space
Conspicuously missing from this list is the addition of more tank space -- I realize this is very important to the folks who are trying to collect one of each fish and I want to add it, but things have been busy on my end and I want to implement a bit more involved of a change than just having an extra freshwater and saltwater tank. I am going to be out of town for a while, and I really wanted to get these UX improvements and bugfixes online ASAP rather than waiting until this was ready.
