Over the past two weeks, we've been hard at work to bring you another fantastic update. Our team has been busy delivering fresh content, cool new features, and plenty of bug fixes to enhance your gameplay experience.

Good news for AMD video card users: we've eliminated the occasional crash issue that some of you experienced.

For those with multi-screen setups, we've resolved issues related to multiple displays, ensuring a smoother experience across the board.

As usual, we're expanding our table selection with two new pinball tables.

First, the Tropical Deluxe table adds a vibrant twist to our Deluxe series. This table gives you a taste of summer on a tropical island. Plus, for the first time, we've introduced video animation on the LCD display!



Next, the Boxing Club table joins our Award series, offering a punchy, unique theme that's sure to stand out. Originally developed for mobile platforms back in 2012, it's available to play for free after reaching 2200 achievements. And if you'd rather skip the grind, you can purchase the "Achievement Table Pack" to jump right into the game.



We've also polished the LCD display on Deluxe tables. From now on, each upcoming table will feature unique font types. You can try out the effect by navigating to Options > Table Skin > LCD Effect.



The soundtrack has been updated with the latest table music to perfectly complement the new vibes.

Welcome to another edition of Titan Talk, wherew we chat all things SMITE 2: new updates, behind-the-scenes development tidbits, upcoming events, and community questions. Below is a quick-look summary of key highlights!

• A recent hotfix went out addressing a few issues:
  • Poseidon’s Passive: Fixed a bug where Poseidon’s Changing Tides movement speed wasn’t applying.
  • Awilix Fixes:
    • Flip-over mechanic no longer causes you to get stuck.
    • Gravity Surge no longer drops targets into walls.
    • Adjusted certain hit/attack timings to make her feel smoother to play.
• Xbox Rollback: A build rollback occurred to fix an Xbox update download issue. While this means redownloading for some players, the team felt it was the quickest way to restore stable play for everyone.

• Coming in OB5: A new, more flexible HUD editor.
• Controller Support: Initially believed to be PC-only, the team confirmed it will work on controller as well.
• Easy Customization: Arrange in-game elements using the right stick (on console). The team aims to give players on all platforms the freedom to personalize their interface.

• Community Event: Bobby “Inbowned” is hosting a weekend tournament featuring top players, ex-pros, and well-known streamers.
• 9,000 USD Prize Pool: Sponsored by Hi-Rez. Expect high-level SMITE 2 games with popular names like FineOkay, RatMilk, Ducky, Clumsy, and more.
• Where to Watch: Tune into Inbowned’s channel and participating players’ streams this weekend.

• Princess Bari: Our newest carry/mage-hybrid god introduced in OB5. Her ascended form grants her basic attacks splash damage, making her a formidable DPS option.
• Item & Aspect Adjustments:
  • Pridwen arriving in Week 2 of OB5.
  • Various existing Aspects (like Mordred, Sobek, Fenrir) are getting tweaks.
  • Mordred’s ultimate wind-up can now rotate the camera so you can keep aiming while charging it.

Below is a quick rundown of the biggest talking points during the Q&A portion:

• Ongoing matchmaking improvements: More back-end updates are in the works, and the team will share details on Friday with Max (Innocent Rabbit).
• The devs are continuously adjusting variables to improve match quality for both solo and party players.

• Music Packs now available primarily via chests; more distribution methods may come as the in-game store develops.
• Cross-Gen Skins: More are becoming available each update; if you’re missing any from SMITE 1, logging into SMITE 1 first sometimes forces them to sync.
• Gifting: Not prioritized right now due to fraud concerns and dev time constraints.

• HUD Editor confirmed functional on controllers in OB5.
• Aim Assist: SMITE 1’s console aim assist was off by default due to many players preferring manual aiming. The team is exploring improved tech but not committing yet.
• Store Improvements: Expect a cleaner item shop with better flow, grid views for consumables/relics, and overall smoother navigation.

<h3 >General Features & Future Plans</h3>

• Wandering Market repeats every ~8 weeks: You can keep old markets active and collect coins over time.
• Text Chat on Console: Blocked by lengthy certification steps, but devs will work toward it later.
• God Builder: Actively in development. It’s surprisingly complex (covering multiple UI screens, integrations, and backend).

• Open Beta 5 Flash Test: Happening shortly after the show. Be sure to jump in and test out Bari and the newest changes.
• Friday’s Titan Talk: Max (Innocent Rabbit) joins to discuss matchmaking updates, balance stats, and more behind-the-scenes changes.
• Keep an Eye Out: More reveals, dev notes, and patch details will drop in the coming days on official channels.

 

Here are a few fixes which have gone in SMITE 2 over the last 24 hours!

• Fixed an issue where Poisedon's Passive (Changing Tides) would not properly provide Movement Speed
  
• Fixed an issue where Awilix could get stuck when flipping over targets
  
• Fixed an issue with Awilix's Gravity Surge where players would get dropped into walls when pulled
  
• Fixed Awilix inhand, hit, and prefire effects for some attacks to ensure they look and feel as intended
