the art has gotten a lot better, i changed out some room designs and tried to add some lights to dark places. i think we will iterate a few more times but id like to turn to a few logistical improvements with the ui and map. realistically post gdc. i will need to revamp both the ui and map. so the demo will just show functionality. it wont be polished. id like to lock down on things and make the marketing materials too. whatever comes together does... and so far i think its pretty good!

Changes
Previously after about the 5th wave or so there was a noticeable and consistent lag spike, I've done some digging to find the cause of the issue and I have done some tuning, unfortunately it can't be completely removed as it would completely destroy any gameplay that exists, however it only becomes a problem now FAAAR into a run in the Labyrinth.
I have also made it so you can now Deselect Defences and Guard Summoning Stones by essentially Selecting anywhere on the Screen that doesn't involve User Interface.

A new video has been added to Forged Into History: Speedway Odyssey. It presents a teaser of a few races in form of a music video. In addition - game's screenshots were updated and game's planned release date has been set to Q3 2025.
x coin texture sheet redone x the round now ends when the last racing players disconnect x fixed the server browser (can't test it very well so not sure if it's 100% functional yet) x after race finish, when entering spectator your UI now disappears x grinding bar is now more sensitive x when touching an item box without enough money, it now displays a text on your screen telling you that you're poor x changed item box prices, 50 for new item, 25 for when you're already holding one x replaced coin pickup sound effect x color presets in customizations menu for skin color, eye color and hair color x you can now change your username inside the settings menu x replaced "you finished 1st" text on the race finish UI with "FINAL SCORE"
Today's hotfix fixes a few issues introduced in yesterday's update:
Improvements:
Changed the Mine building entry position it can connect with train tracks.
Added a third setting to camera behavior on teleport. Changed its default value. The setting will need to be re-assigned if you want a different behavior.
Added some missing variations to the town customization items.
