Its now attached to the front facing wall. - when a target is destroyed a "X" will appear on the map that indicates what target is destroyed. - New Light fixture for the cab (Yes a book lamp with a large button). - Rear Bench, stops objects from getting stuck where they shouldn't (the real Killdozer might have had one there).
FI X E S and A D J U S T M E N T S: - Fixed highlighting on gun charging handles. - Fixed some SFX not spawning in. - Fixed Firearm charging handle audio sources that volume does not go down with volume slider. - Minor adjustments on interiors cab model. - Reverted some dozer changes to prevent it from taking off and flipping out when driving over debris (Please get back to us if you are taking off again). - More Police car changes, just making them a little more frequent (There will be a total redo of police cars in the coming weeks). - (Technical) Vertex streams fixed for dust FX and particles. - (Technical) Changed game to single-pass instance rendering instead of multi-pass (Should lead into a performance increase for PC XR based systems, please report any visual bugs). - (Technical) transparent render layers reduced so there should be a increase with performance.
Thanks to Semaniel's Youtube video and feedback, I realized that End Turn button looks too similar to Undo, making it easy to mis-click.
So I added a gradient texture around End Turn button, which makes it looks different. Also, just as End Turn text, this texture is painted red when there are cards in hand that are going to be discarded (i.e. non-Retained cards). Which also helps to make fewer not-Undo-able mistakes.
Also, Tutorial screens now support Escape button. Before that, Escape button was consumed by their parent screen, and it looked weird.
Today marks the official launch of Bonesaw 1.0, with the addition of the new Ultimate game mode! To celebrate, you can get Bonesaw at 25% off for a limited time!
With today's update, we are officially closing our Early Access Roadmap. Over the last four months of development, we added even more features than originally planned, such as the Sheriff, designed to help ease new players into the game.
Ultimate Gamemode
The final challenge of the Devil introduces additional mechanics to Bonesaw. At the start of each new round, you must choose a modifier (a curse) that will persist for the rest of the game. These modifiers stack, making it increasingly difficult to defeat the Devil. This is no walk in the parc and the Devil is waiting!
A Letter From the Devs
Bonesaw will always hold a special place in our hearts. It will forever be our first independently released project on Steam. We learned so much from the experience and cherished every moment of it. We hope you enjoy this final update as much as we enjoyed creating it. From the very start of this journey, our goal was to be responsive to your feedback, explore new and creative ways to approach strategy games, and passionately build an immersive world. We sincerely hope we succeeded.
A huge thank you to all our players for the amazing support and feedback throughout Early Access. —Sam and David
