February 28 - Update (v0.12.4)

Hey everyone, we have some updates to share with you all.

Changes
  • Connected loading screens to biomes of the run started or ended;
  • Now Elites and Bosses produce higher value souls, that grants respectively 3 and 5 SP;
  • Added Elder Tree node to the legend in map;
  • Battle dashboard now displays also max health;
  • Removed selection during enemy turns;
  • Minor graphic changes;

BugFix
  • Fixed bug that enabled selector at the start of a battle;
  • Fixed bug that show dashboard of a Soulkin hovered at the end of the previous battle;
  • Fixed bug that didn't show correctly tooltip of enemy skills;
  • Fixed bug that gave multiple times the same blessings during a run;
  • Fixed bug that sometimes didn't let you collect soul;
  • Fixed bug that didn't let some skills work on Nadia or Bosses;
  • Fixed bug that didn't let enemy end their turn if one of their Soulkin is defeated in that turn;
  • Fixed bug that didn't correctly heal Soulkin between acts;
  • Fixed bug that sometimes didn't correctly save Soulkin upgrades;

Known Bugs
  • Sometimes after leaving a shop in which the player purchase an item/service it's impossible to select the next node in map.

Welcome everyone, to the grand opening of Crescent Roll! We hope it's as fun to play as it was making it.

We've got something of an early bird special going right now as the kitchen kicks fully into gear. Of course, a full menu is already available. However, expect some additional entrees to be added in the coming weeks as we learn the ropes, as well as a few things that needed just a little bit more time in the oven, like controller support, additional screen resolutions, and a native Steam Deck version.

Hello! Im Ohto from virtual dawn, this is quick new devlog to keep yall informed.


I have been working hard on new bandit npc.
And im very proud how it came out. The bandits take cover when fighting, and can do multiple attacks and other movements after that, from cover shooting to rambo shooting, and also grenade throwing.




Also Fps have been increased and a lot of new things have been added.

Localization Fix
Arabic Translation Update: This update includes a translation fix, with a focus on the Arabic language. The translation has been optimized to better fit the nuances of the language. Other localization updates have also been made to improve the overall translation quality in the game. This will provide players from different regions with a better experience in their native language.

Change on Level 5
"Last Point": An important change has been made to the lighting mechanics on level 5. Once the "last point" in this stage is reached, the sound will be turned off.

Water Running Optimization
Running Speed in Water Improved: Based on player feedback, the running speed in water has been increased. This change makes moving through water environments smoother and more natural. The goal of this adjustment is to improve gameplay dynamics, making movement in these areas easier and more comfortable, thus enhancing the overall game speed.

Change in Photo Distance at the Museum
Adjusted Photo Distance: The photo-taking mechanics in the museum have been changed in this version, introducing a new optimized distance from which photos can be taken. This change provides better control over interaction with the environment, allowing the player to capture images more easily. The goal is to improve immersion and dynamics in this stage.

User Interface Fixes
Main Menu Button Fix: The "MAIN MENU" button functionality has been improved in both the full version of the game and the demo. This change makes transitions between the main menu and the individual levels smoother and more stable. Navigation has been improved to give players easier access to all game options.

Gamepad Support Update
Optimized Gamepad Support: Gamepad support has been optimized, improving the comfort of playing with these devices. The game is now more responsive, providing better precision when using a controller, making interactions with the game smoother and more natural.

Platform Updates
Support for Various Operating Systems: This update includes fixes for Windows (32/64 bit), Linux (64 bit), and Mac (64 bit) versions. The game has been optimized for these platforms, improving stability and performance across different systems. Players can now enjoy a smoother gameplay experience on various devices and hardware configurations.

Demo Version Update
Demo (Windows 32/64 bit, Linux 64 bit, Mac 64 bit): A number of fixes have been made to the demo version to improve stability on different platforms. It has also been updated with changes from the full version of the game, allowing players to test the latest improvements and optimizations that enhance the overall gameplay experience.

Minor Fixes and Optimizations
Minor Fixes: This update also includes smaller fixes to improve the stability and performance of the game. These changes address issues reported by players and ensure a smoother gameplay experience across various devices.

SpaceBourne 2 Early Access Ver. 5.2.6

  • Localization has been improved for all supported languages.
  • Some missing translations have been fixed, and now 11 languages are supported.
  • The Mouse Invert option is back in the game after being temporarily deactivated.

Bug Fixes:
  • Fixed an issue where asteroids disappeared: When switching from a mining ship to another actor, nearby asteroids would vanish.
  • Resolved an audio bug in the Karun mission: The door opening sound would continuously play throughout the game.
  • Balanced the Archive Boss fight: The boss was spawning nearly twice the player’s level, making it impossible to defeat.
  • Fixed an issue in the "Fixing Up" mission: Players were unable to exit their ship during the Dakara server hacking segment.
  • Improved HUD warp target indicators: The previous triangular shape made it unclear which direction the arrows were pointing.
  • Fixed a station-building issue: After constructing a Capital Station, the game incorrectly prevented players from building another station in the same system, stating that it belonged to a different faction.
  • Fixed an issue where built Capital Stations would disappear: The station’s name remained visible, but the structure itself was missing.
  • Corrected missing key prompts in the initial control tutorial: For example, the movement tutorial only displayed the "D" key for right movement but did not show "A" for left.
  • Fixed a faction regime display bug: The selected path in meetings did not match what was displayed in the UI.
  • Resolved an issue where Capital Ships got stuck at Outposts: Players were unable to board after calling them.**
  • Fixed an issue in the Pursuit mission: Pressing Caps Lock would unintentionally speed up the game.
  • Resolved a bug in the Pursuit mission: Players could fly their ships even while their hands were supposed to be bound.
  • Fixed a falling issue when exiting Axa Station: Players would drop into empty space upon leaving.
  • Adjusted ship spawn location when exiting the HQ Cave: The ship now spawns closer instead of far away.
  • Fixed a climbing bug in the Capital Station entrance corridor: Climbing onto the metal bars would cause the character to get stuck.

- Add a "normal" difficulty mode (making it clearer that "easy" is for beginners)
- Improve "Explosive Barrel" sprite : change the color to make them easier to spot

- Slow down "boomrang" so they are easier to shoot at
- Update "fire trap cannon" to be easier to be differenciate with regular "trap cannon"
- Reduce a bit Fog density
- Chests are less likely to be spawn after a "Fight" room (for all difficulties)
- "Penta" (summoning circle) lasts a bit less
- Add sound effect for "Refill barrel" (more coming in the next patch)
- Item balance : decrease overall damage given by items + minor tweaks
