CHEMISTS: Area of infection - RPAX_GAMING
Hello everyone. Today we will share with you the main changes and new content in the game.

New
- Added a quest to Nick.
- Added a quest to the Hunter.
- New NPC Agathon, on the pond near the clinic, with the task "Magic Stone".
- New hidden quest in the village "Dead End".
- Added more habitats of White Wolves.
- Nikolai now has weapons for sale.



Main Menu
- Disabled the probability of the appearance of the zine.
- Adjusted the weather and other things.
- Added new objects to the menu map.



World
- Added a few more towers to the main map.
- The fence near the forester was rebuilt to remove the shading bug.
- Changed the lighting in the world.
- Hunter's storage has become more accessible, and the bed is not in the way.



Change
- The brightness of the car's FAC has been increased by 2 times.
- Chickens have temporarily disappeared from the game world for balancing and changing the way they appear. Don't miss them, they will appear soon.

UI interface
- The brightness of the medical splint icon has been changed.
- In the trade window, the weight difference is now shown with an accuracy of 0.1 kg.
- Money in the inventory is displayed without a comma.
- The font of the text on the weapon panel has been increased.
- Quick access slots, the quantity figure has been moved up and the color is white.
- Weapon durability - strip - work has been done on the design of the durability status strip.
- Equipment durability has been added to the item information.
- The bug with the secret door in the swamp has been fixed.
- Localization of new content has been completed.
- Other minor UI fixes

Work on improving and fixing the game continues, thanks to everyone for the feedback. Enjoy the game.
LandTraveller - Sayuri
New active abilities have been added you can use! Throw introduces throwing weapons to the game starting with the existing knives. This is the first attack in the game that does damage based on your Agility stat. Then we have Charge which lets you dash forward and strike enemies with swords. Hedgehog stance with spears lets you strike anything on four legs that tries to run you down. Finally, Crash lets you simply do even more damage with axes or hammers by slamming the ground. Just open your abilities menu and check which ones you can unlock.

You may also notice the "Supporter" or "Free Play" on the title screen. Those that originally purchased the game get the "Supporter" edition which will include the promised extras in future updates. Regardless of which one you have, I'd like to thank you for playing.

This update also includes several gameplay adjustments and fixes to some of the more obscure long outstanding bugs that have interrupted games, greatly increasing stability.

- [NEW] Added the composite bow to fit right in between the long bow and the legendary Taka bow - [NEW] Added the direction field to entities in the API so your mod can see which direction an entity is facing - [NEW] Added the Charge active ability where you charge forward with a sword, performing a heavy attack if you collide with an enemy - [NEW] Added the Crash active ability, activated while in the air it lets you land with an intense attack using axes or hammers - [NEW] Added the Hedgehog active ability allowing you to ready your spear to strike oncoming enemies first, doing extra damage to quadrapeds - [NEW] Added new active abilities you can learn, starting with Throw for throwing knives in an attack that uses agility and skill for damage - [NEW] Added the Crystal Knife, a new quake element wand weapon - [FIX] Fixed the bug where crossbow bolts could be used as rifle ammo or rifle ammo in crossbows - [FIX] Fixed crashes with invalid mobs that could happen when being defeated while having allies follow you and re-entering the area with those allies - [FIX] Fixed a crash that occurs if a story NPC was pathfinding on its own when certain cutscenes play - [FIX] Fixed an issue where an enemy that is stunned and defeated at the same time leaves behind a solid collision box until its fully cleaned up - [FIX] Fixed a crash that can happen when switching to windowed mode from fullscreen in the middle of a world - [FIX] Fixed a bug where items could still be dropped if you're defeated during swarms, allowing duplication if you went back there - [FIX] Fixed a crash that could happen after learning Throw and having certain items selected, and then trying to open inventory menu - [FIX] The world map no longer is stuck open when you're disconnected in multiplayer while travelling on it - [FIX] Fixed a bug where in some situations when picking up a weapon into the active slot when there wasn't one previously there didn't register on the server as you equipping that weapon - [FIX] Signs now update properly in multiplayer when someone changes their content - [FIX] Fixed a bug where critical hits weren't being marked for some attacks that exploit weaknesses - [FIX] NPC labor events (gathering, etc.) no longer show up in worlds the NPC isn't actually in during single player - [FIX] Spike traps are now properly rooted and will pop out if the block they're on is removed - [FIX] Fixed a bug where Glacier projectiles weren't fragmenting properly when hitting enemies and that they were being aimed up slightly on accident - [FIX] Fixed a bug where Induction wasn't staggering hit enemies - [ADJ] The Enforcers now sometimes drop some rifle ammo - [ADJ] Raised Taka's weapons damage rating from 12 to 16 (24 with steel arrows) - [ADJ] Increased the drop rate of melted essence to 17%, prin needle to 15%, ectoplasm to 15%, apocritoid needle to 15%, and culicoid needle to 15% - [ADJ] Moon (ability) is now always active if you have the vital orb equipped (interpreting a max EP of 0 to always be at max EP) - [ADJ] Lightning (the ability) now increases maximum EP 1 for every level instead of just 5 - [ADJ] Affinity now increases maximum EP by 10% instead of 2 points - [ADJ] Vigor now simply heals 1 EP for every enemy defeated as opposed to only doing so if you use a 0 cost special - [ADJ] Lively now increases max EP 2 for every level instead of just 4 - [ADJ] Active abilities work with the Vital orb, costing HP instead at 4x the EP cost - [ADJ] Cushions no longer require flowers to craft - [ADJ] Glacier now fragments into 8 projectiles instead of 4 - [ADJ] Many special attacks using orbs were made stronger if they cost more EP, and higher ranking orbs were further made stronger - [ADJ] Damage of Wave Cutter (with sword) was reduced a little - [ADJ] Flame and Frost can now inflict burn and chill, Magnet and Induction can now inflict miasma - [ADJ] Blast radius of Scorch Bomb (with axe) was increased - [ADJ] Special attacks affected by the Woods ability now cost 1 more EP
Vex Clock - Dave Microwave
A small patch fixing some bugs that were reported recently. Will likely have another patch out tomorrow to address some other bugs and general changes I haven't been able to tackle on yet!

Fixed: An exploit in Act 2's Flooded Metropolis level that allowed you to jump up on areas you shouldn't
Fixed: A bug where the player could walk past the exit trigger in Siren City's Dark Backstreets level
Fixed: A bug where Keith's outfit would switch to the next act's outfit when you are currently wearing a costume
Fixed: A bug where the destructible crates hiding one of the computer chips were clipping into eachother in Act 1's Trainyard checkpoint area
Fixed: A bug where Rosa's Gothic Rose outfit had glowing green skin in the introduction cutscene
Fixed: An issue with projectiles not firing from the center of the screen where the crosshair is located
Nerfed: The miniboss's health from 15 to 12 HP and speed from 1,100 to 900 in Act 3 level 2's wave battle segment

Fresh Update Inbound ❤️✨

Love may have filled the air on Valentine's, but now it's Steam's turn to join the fun! The VoidBound 0.6.5 update has arrived—packed with fixes, improvements, and even a bit of fantasizing to keep the mood alive. 😉

For Players Continuing with Old Saves:
To access the new quests, you must first complete "Deputy For A Night" and "Virog Char, the Brute of Henosis" quests.


If you've already finished these, head to Mr. Fixer in Caly's room and select: ➡️ "Trigger New Content [0.6.5]"
From there, choose the relevant quests based on your progress.

⚠️ WARNING: Do not use this feature if you haven’t completed the prerequisite quests. Doing so may break your game and save!

Content Highlights:

Haar has gone radio silent, and Jens is starting to worry. Fortunately, Caly has just wrapped up a task and is more than happy to check in on him!

  • This quest becomes available after completing the Pharmacy Heists Investigation questline.
  • As part of an ongoing chain, this mission sets the stage for Caly’s deeper dive into the Henosis underworld, with key elements unfolding in the epilogue.


Caly’s constant adventuring is starting to take its toll, pushing her mind into "what if" territory—her latest thought? Having a family. A distant dream, perhaps, but is there another way to experience that feeling and release some of these emotions?

  • This quest becomes available after completing the bounty for Virog char.
  • It seems Her Indulgence's establishment is more than just a brothel…what other indulgent secrets does she hide?


Originally a temporary debug feature for niche issues, Mr. Fixer now offers broader usability to help players resolve various in-game problems.

  • Beyond fixing stray quest log entries and weapon issues, it can now address select bugs that may affect your save. For instance, some players have reported receiving duplicate Xaide branches instead of five unique ones. While we’re still investigating the cause, Mr. Fixer can now correct this issue for affected players.
  • Additionally, Mr. Fixer now serves as a content trigger too, allowing players continuing from older saves to unlock new content—provided they’ve completed the necessary prerequisite questlines.

I've decided to post a Pre-Demo Update Log here to share the current development progress of the demo build before its release. After the demo release and the full game launch, I plan to continue posting update logs in this format.

However, the Main Quest will not be significantly different from Classic Mode.

  • The demo is still in preparation.
  • The demo version will include a total of 45 playable characters.
  • The demo will feature both Classic Mode, where players can manually select their party, and Chaos Mode, where parties are automatically assigned.
  • The Main Quest Mode is still in the planning stage, and for now, the focus is on finalizing the demo.

BrVR Backrooms Virtual Reality - WooStudios
Added the all object launcher (and variants)

A fun little thing that had my attention for longer than it should've. Essentially, it's an upgrade to the balloonderbuss that allows you to launch any object. There are 4 variants: Standard, sniper, high-capacity, and expanded. Standard and sniper both have a capacity of 1, but high-capacity and expanded have capacities of 5 and 15 respectively. The sniper variant has sights affixed to the launcher and the expanded variant has a pistol grip, making them easier to use. To use the launchers, pick up an object (anything, try magazines first) and shove them in the front. Then press A/X to prime the hammer and press trigger to launch it. You can hold down A/X to forcibly discharge everything inside of the launcher, which isn't very useful but sure is fun.

Added the welding tool

A very fun but potentially janky tool for sandbox gameplay. It's only available via the test map for now but will be added to the sandbox map soon. It's what it sounds like, a tool that attaches two objects together.

Made some changes to the backpack

The backpack now freezes in place instead of getting sucked back onto your back once let go. There are also some smaller collision changes but there will be more changes in the future!

Worked on grenade physics

Grenades now have less of a tendency to freeze, but are still being worked on.

Fixed a bug with level 19...whoops

Level 19 was broken on the beta branch until today...whoops

Added the time slow on entity damage option

This option slows time when an entity is damaged, and is a great option for backrooms filmmakers. It resumes normal time after a couple of seconds.

Improved the lottery tickets

The lottery tickets now have three fields that act similar to a slot machine, plus a new "bonus cash" scratch at the bottom which worked similar to the original lottery.

A couple of rapid-fire features:

Added many new rooms to level 4
Casino chris now can't win at his own slot machine
Added new options to the analog horror filter

AI War 2 - x-4000 (Chris McElligott-Park)
This build updates the scourge infused empire so that they can now summon their scourge minions to join in a particular fight, which helps to set them aside from regular scourge allies. This is with the Sidekicks mod, which is free and totally something you should try if you still haven't! It's by one of the devs of the game (Badger), and is basically an unofficial and free DLC4.

In other areas, there are a number of more bugfixes and tweaks in here. Big thanks to both Badger and Dismiss for those.

Back in the Sidekicks mod, there are also another two new custom AI difficulties, to go with the two that were added last update. Shark and Lumbering Badger are both very amusing and intriguing.

Added visual hints for items
To make it easier to find well-hidden items, visual effects have been added that are displayed every few seconds and can be seen exactly where the item is located. To maintain balance and equilibrium, these effects are not very visible, but at the same time manage to draw the player's eye.

At long last, Gem Defender: Soy Requiem, is finally out! Get ready to Chud it up like never before with four new worlds, postgame content, and a collaboration with BADLANDS CHUGS!!!



New Levels:
  • Level 0 (Chud’s Basement) acts as a quick tutorial to get you started
  • Level 14 (The Badlands) is a brand-new gauntlet featuring the GOAT BadlandsChugs
  • Level 15 (Brim) is the definitive, final level of the game
  • A new post-game world, the Endless Soyscape, has been added with an endlessly-scaling wave system and most weapons in the game. See how far you can get!
New Weapons:
  • Fatal Thrembosis, shoots out a demonic aoe burst in a triangle
  • Pacifier MK Ultra, a devilish upgrade to the Pacifier gun
  • Das Boot, an overcharged sproke-shooter that charges up before firing in giant bursts
