South Africa celebrates Armed Forces Day on February 21st. The South African National Defence Force was founded in its current form in 1994 after the abolition of apartheid and Nelson Mandela coming into power. At the time, compulsory conscription was abolished. Currently, the South African Armed Forces have more than 100,000 personnel including reservists, making them the combat-ready armed forces in the region.

The Rooikat 105 and the Rooivalk Mk1F CSH are available at a 30% discount for 6,363 and 5,992 Golden Eagles respectively.

About these vehicles

• The Rooikat 105 (rank VI) is a versatile and mobile light tank with a maximum speed of 120 km/h! Use this vehicle to outflank your enemies, shoot from a distance or take daring attacks at close range — just try not to expose yourself to enemy fire!

• The Rooivalk Mk1F CSH (rank VI) is a combat helicopter with good flight characteristics, a thermal imager, RWR and countermeasures. I wanted to take a moment to talk about something important regarding our update schedule moving forward.

Since November 15th, I’ve been working at full capacity to keep these updates coming at a weekly pace. It’s been an incredible journey, and seeing the game grow with each patch has been amazing—but at the same time, it’s also been exhausting. Keeping up with weekly releases while managing everything else behind the scenes has started to take its toll, and I can feel the burnout slowly creeping in.

On top of that, February has been a tough month for sales, estimated under 100$ after fees and taxes. As much as we love working on this game, we still have to keep the lights on, which means taking on other jobs and projects to help sustain development. Balancing that with a weekly update schedule is becoming increasingly difficult, and we don’t want to end up in a situation where we have to rush things just to meet a deadline.

Because of this, we’ve decided to switch to a bi-weekly release schedule moving forward. This will give us more time to focus on delivering better, more polished updates instead of constantly crunching to get something out every seven days. It also means we can take care of ourselves a little better and ensure that we’re able to keep working on this game for the long run.

This doesn’t mean less content—if anything, it means we can take the time to refine what we’re adding and make sure every patch is truly worth the wait. It also gives us the breathing room to focus on bigger updates, improve existing systems, and take player feedback into account more thoroughly.

How You Can Help
If you enjoy the game and want to see it continue to grow, the biggest way you can support us is by spreading the word. Share it with your friends, drop a review, recommend it to people who might enjoy it. Every new player helps us keep pushing forward.

We’ve also been thinking about ways to keep things sustainable in the long term. If there’s enough community interest, we could look into running a Kickstarter to help fund the game’s development more directly. That could even come with physical rewards like art prints, ship blueprints, or collector’s items for those who want to support at a higher level. If that’s something you’d be interested in, let us know!

So, what did we do? We decided to add some atmosphere to the paint booth, making it clear that this is indeed a workshop. We added several new assets both inside and outside to make the environment feel more realistic and immersive.

How does the repainting process work? You’ll get a clear look at how the vehicle repainting will unfold (note that the UI is still a work in progress). It’s another step toward making players feel like they’re truly at the heart of the action!

It's the hardest language to implement by far, because there's multiple way to write a word.
For example:

出張 means business trip

In hiragana it could be written
しゅっちょう

To write that in Hiragana, you could write it one by one per character, like this
si lyu ltu ti lyo u

(where the small hiragana character need to be written with prefix l or x)

In this case, there's multiple way to write し, which is si, shi, or ci.
To write ゅ, you could type lyu, or xyu
To write っ, you could type ltu, ltsu, xtu, xtsu
To write ち, you could type ti, or chi
To write ょ, you could type lyo, or xyo
To write う, you could type u, wu, whu

To make matter worse, there's a shortcut to write しゅ, together it could be typed as syu, or shu.

And the hardest part is this っちょ. You could write it together as ttyo (with double t).
Or it could be ccyo, or ccho.
Or you could write it a little bit separately, like ttilyo, ttixyo, cchilyo, cchixyo.
Or you could write this っ first as ltu, ltsu, xtu, xtsu, and write this ちょ as tyo, cyo, cho, or even separately tilyo, tixyo, chilyo, chixyo.
