🤔 "What's next for House Flipper 2?"

That's a question we get a lot from all around our social media channels, and so to properly showcase what we're currently working on, we're bringing you the third House Flipper 2 Roadmap!

This one will show you the content planned for the first half of 2025.

Our very next step is the Spring Update! It's going to be a big one, bringing you the long-awaited Before/After Gallery, as well as resurrecting the fan-favorite Lawnmower! (sneak peeks coming soon!)

We also made sure to listen to the community of Flippers on our Canny.io Feature Board and included some of the most popular requests! (marked with a green highlight!)

For now, our goal is to properly prepare the Spring Update for its release in March. Keep in mind that the content listed on the roadmap regarding this update is just the main part of it, there are a bunch of smaller bits and pieces coming along.

We will definitely be revisiting our new roadmap in quite a few future posts once the time comes!
For now, we know that lots of eyes will be turned on the HF Franchise Birthday event coming in May, and rightfully so! The event will bring some huge House Flipper 2 DLC news, as well as the full release of our Co-op mode! (that's currently available to all of you during the playtests!)
Along with the co-op mode, we'll be bringing a free DLC, specifically designed for those of you who enjoy flipping with your friends and family, but the solo players will also be able to enjoy the included content.

-Increasing base difficulty is not automatic now. You can increase it at map summary screen in exchange of gold when the map dificulty is higher than the base difficulty.
-Fixed grand upgrade stone drops from Melder.
-Increased the effect of map mods significantly. Thus, decreased the drop chance of map mods.
-Fixed the broken map mod stats.
-Item chunk rewards from Dark Lands now increase with the difficulty. This increase starts after difficulty 10.

-Adjusted material required count on Collector quests.

PLAYER
-Skills with duration have no relics or attribute upgrade to increase their duration time anymore (Spread, Rain Arrow, Cutter, Crossfire, Rage, Condemn). Relics with duration increase have been adjusted. Related stats have been removed from Grand item stat pool.
-Increased the damage increase of skills from attribute upgrades significantly.
-Skills that have count increase on attribute upgrades, now have 10% less damage per count (Cutter, Blast, Throw, Burning Ball, Inferno, Aqublast)
-Last count upgrade for the skills that have count increase on attribute upgrades is now on level 50, instead of 40.
-You now lose 20% of your experience when you die.
-Conquer Objectives are now shared between seasonal characters.
-Status effects now do their respected element's damage, instead of main attack damage.
-Steal passive now works with a chance, it's not 100% anymore.
-Per Second damages do not get extra damage from the main damage stat anymore.
-Adjusted tier 4 and 9 applier relic chances for all skills.

ASSASSIN
-Aqublast skill's starting count is increased from 2 to 3. Last upgrade count is increased from 6 to 7.
-Fixed Blood Surge damage.
-Barrage now pierces through enemies. Barrage Wall doesn't.
-Barrage Fan now throws 3 sets of knives, instead of 1.
-Carnage now spreads more and travels slowly.
-Blood Fangs now spawn with 20% (constant) chance per hit.
-Increased Spark Bolt area from 400 to 600.
-You are now immune to damage while charging Deadly Strike.
-Increased Bladefall area from 300 to 500.
-Increased Bladefall time from 2 to 4 seconds.
-Increased Remnant's area from 55 to 100.
-Remnant is now spawned at every Massacre attack, instead of only hitting attacks.
-Increased Hell Spike's area from 250 to 300.

After the announcement that the game is delayed to the beginning of 2025, here are the news:

  • New introduction for the story
Until now, everything started directly in a strange room that led to the corridor of the house where most of the game takes place.
I've added a bit of an introduction to the chaotic story, but you'll still have to figure out who you are and why you're there.





  • Rework of the main map
There have been several modifications of the main map, changing old assets for some more modern ones that maintain the ambience.
One of the most significant cases is the window, which previously had a simple png texture and now implements exterior glass and rain materials.

We now have the first area hidden behind the mysterious doors.



It is a dark area, your flashlight has failed you but you are lucky, the candlelight lets you see enough to know that you are not alone. You will face a familiar type of enemy, watch your step.








Some items have been added to the map that will generate sound when you interact with them, so be careful how you use them.




Pay close attention to everything around you, there could be clues and secrets.



  • New dubbing
The dubbing of the game in both Spanish and English is progressing normally, we are not professional actors so it is probably what is delaying the release of the game, but it is something fundamental in the story of Homecoming.

Hoop Land - Koality Game
First, I would like to introduce myself to those of you that may not know the history of my games. I have been developing mobile sports titles since 2015. I am a huge basketball fan and have been playing the sport recreationally for over 20 years. My favorite basketball team is the Portland Trail Blazers but I've also become fans of other past teams such as the Steve Nash era Phoenix Suns. I am also a huge fan of video games and played/researched classic titles such as Double Dribble, Tecmo NBA Basketball, NBA Live ('98, '05, '10), and all the NBA 2Ks.

With Hoop Land, I had a vision of creating the best retro basketball game possible, drawing inspiration from all the classic titles combined with modernized gameplay and features. I began development in 2022 and used experience from my past titles (Hoop League Tactics, Ice League Hockey, and Prizefighters) in order to create the ultimate basketball game. My games have been known for customization since that was always my favorite part of video games growing up and for Hoop Land that's no different. You can expect the ability to fully customize aspects of the whole league including teams, players, awards, court designs, and much more. I also plan to take full advantage of Steam Workshop so that players can easily share and download custom leagues as seamlessly as possible.

Currently, I am still updating the mobile version of Hoop Land. I am working on Update Version 1.09 which includes major features like the ability to get drafted in Career Mode and the ability to play in the annual 3-Point Competition. There has been a total of 25 updates since Hoop Land released in October of 2023 and Version 1.09 will likely be the biggest one yet!

For the Steam release, I plan to begin the porting process after Version 1.09 releases towards the end of April. With the targeted Steam release not coming until some time in Q4 (October, November, or December), I am giving myself enough time to properly take advantage of all of Steam's features such as Workshop, Remote Play Together, Leaderboards, Achievements, and more. I also want to ensure the game is catered to the PC audience with the ability to remap key bindings and other features that may be requested from players. My ultimate goal is for Hoop Land to be fully compatible on the Steam Deck.

Lastly, I want to thank all of you that have followed, wishlisted, and shown interest in Hoop Land. Whether you're a new fan or a fan of my previous mobile titles, I'm excited to continue developing a basketball game that all fans of the greatest sport can all enjoy.
Hidden Arcade: Hundreds of Ghosts! - Lem
Heyo! This is a rather small update, but I got some feedback, felt productive and put it together today. :D

Quality of Life:
  • Timer Popup: In the game, in all three levels, there is a timer in the top left corner, and at the end of the level, you are put up against everyone else globally in a list, consider it a "speedrun timer". Now, there has always been the option to disable it in the Setting in the Main Menu, but for players who would not know that the timer was auto-enabled, it could feel as if they were not in full control of whether or not their data should be stored, and whether the timer is active. For that reason, for anyone new starting the game, or any other player who never made a conscious choice before, there is a one-time popup when you start the game now, asking for your preference.

  • Permanent Progress Saving: Not everyone wants to complete an entire level in one sitting, I get that. For that reason, your progress - the time you took, the Ghosts you've clicked, the score you have - now gets permanently saved for all 3 main levels whenever you exit them via the Home Button, and it gets reloaded when you enter them again! But don't fret - if you want to restart a level to improve your time, imply play it till the end, and either click on [Restart] or [Back to Hub] or [Exit Game] to get rid of your progress and be able to restart! :)

I got caught up so much in trying to innovate on the genre that I got carried away and forgot about people who don't want that, as they are happy with how the genre goes. Overall, I think these are additions that should be welcome to everyone, and I hope yall enjoy them. :)
