Alongside this map, you will encounter a new creature, the Maeguana. Its motherly nature will help nurture your babies, and its skin membrane will guide you to safety.

Hey DeltaPhysicists, mostly polishing tweaks for this one. No significant bugs discovered, so will be pushing 0.4 to main/public branch next week.

Air Particle Changes
  • smoother wind trail by decreasing distance between vertices
  • adjusted force field for smoother and more consistent path
Audio
  • rolling SFX now also factors in linear speed; will sound quieter at lower speeds
  • decreased range for some SFX, to be less audible when off-camera
Misc.
  • added trigger to de-spawn certain objects in the Loop, to help restabilize the simulation
  • slightly decreased size of some collision hitboxes, to prevent unintended physical interactions
  • adjusted some more loading zones, to prevent player from seeing unloaded map parts
  • fixed some misaligned graphics
CROPS! - Bocary
Small post-update balance patch:
Thanks for your feedback. Here's a few initial balance changes:

  • 🟢Barley: 620 range --> 700 range | 0.50 attack speed --> 0.52 attack speed
  • 🟢Venus Flytrap: 0.40 attack speed --> 0.42 attack speed
  • 🔴Lemon: 0.55 attack speed --> 0.52 attack speed
  • 🔴Avocado: 6 DMG --> 5 DMG
  • 🟢Corn: 8HP --> 10HP

Also: Venus flytrap now correctly displays artist name.

Howdy all!

Have a slightly earlier in the day Devlog and Update for y'all today, as we've got another great VR Dev friend in town from the other side of the world, and we're goin Shootin!

For this week's update we've got the return of some destructible furniture I'd be playing with ages ago and never finished. There's still a bunch of tuning to be done with their physics behavior, but they are now actually fully integrated with the game's item database and spawner (I royal pain in the meat for 60+ objects). You should expect the grab/movement feel of these to continue to change as I dial them in and experiment.

Anywho, I wish you all a WONDERFUL weekend. We'll be back next week with more work being done to finish and fix save/load of complex object types.

May: NPCs are getting more expressive with moods, plus we’re adding more quest types and working dressers for better home customization!

Remember the previous post saying that "bug reports are not frequent anymore"? Well, we kind of jinxed it, and a bunch of unsettling bugs popped out after some further testing. It's still a good thing we found more of them bugs, so we can provide updates to bust them out for good. The battle for fixing rogue code just never ends...

GAME ADJUSTMENTS
  • Description Edits to Support Actions
    - For [Full Repair], once Fortress gets its armor destroyed, the armor health and repair points will stop appearing on the description
    - For [Priority Summon], this can be used repeatedly for greater cooldown reduction
    - For Support Craft specific actions, the Support Activation lasts until the Support Craft leaves
  • Sledgenaut's STRIKE ANCHOR SP Tech adjustments to hitbox size
    - Buffed Lv1 hitbox size
    - Buffed Lv4 size increase to 60%
BUG FIXES
  • Prime Skins animating ship parts still moving when game is paused
  • Hyperspace Campaign: Fortress Prime Skin graphical and animation bugs when Fortress Shell is destroyed
  • Hyperspace Campaign: Oracle's hacked units not counting towards destroyed ship count
  • Hyperspace Campaign: Survival Time on end screen stats not working properly
  • Hyperspace Overdrive: Upgrades getting rolled back when moving to the next area
  • Support Actions RP cost discount not applied properly when equipped with cost-reducing modifiers/passives
