It’s time for another development update for our upcoming, brand-new DLC for Gas Station Simulator – Drive-In Cinema DLC. Last time we talked about what is Drive-In Cinema DLC and its own employees. If you somehow missed the last announcement, you can freely check it out right now by clicking this link.
Today, I want to walk you through some of the structures that are crucial to have a remarkable night in the cinema. That’s obviously a project and a popcorn machine. At the end of the announcement we will also talk a little bit about Drive-In Cinema’s renown, so stick with me till the end. Shall we begin then? 🤩
First things first — every memorable outdoor movie night needs an old, good, and reliable projector. In the Drive-In Cinema DLC, the projector is your go-to tool. Here you can schedule the movies you want to show to your customers from a wide range of those available. You can decide when the showtimes start. Plan your nights around peak traffic hours or align them with special in-game events. Who doesn’t love a midnight horror marathon? 👻
The Popcorn Machine 🍿
No cinema experience is complete without a bucket of hot, buttery popcorn. That’s where the Popcorn Machine comes in! This nifty gadget doesn’t just add to the movie-watching ambiance; it also benefits you and your gas station in a couple of ways:
Boost Your Gold Income 💰 – Serving popcorn to moviegoers gives you extra revenue. Customers love a tasty snack, so you’ll see a steady increase in profits.
Increase Your Renown 📈 – Providing a great snack is part of delivering an excellent cinema experience. The more satisfied your customers are, the more they’ll spread the word about your drive-in cinema.
More ways to deal with… Dennis! 😃 – That’s right! If you’re tired of that pesky Dennis messing around your station, you can easily turn your frustration into fun! Use the Popcorn Machine to grab a bucket or two and throw them at the Dennis dummy when it appears. It might just be the ultimate stress reliever or simply hilarious moment for you 🔥
Renown 🤩
In this DLC, your new Drive-In Cinema has its very own Renown mechanic. Think of it like a progress bar that reflects how popular your drive-in theater is. Every time a customer drives in to watch a movie (and hopefully buy some popcorn), your renown ticks up. The higher the renown, the better upgrades you’ll be able to unlock.
From improved projector settings which allows you to schedule more movies in advance, or an automatic tool that will help you keep the cinema clean – the more you invest in your drive-in cinema experience, the more it’ll pay off in both satisfaction and sweet, sweet profits.
Stay up-to-date 📰

We got a review from Joe Morgan (GeeksUnderGrace), scoring Shujinkou at an 8.5/10! The reviewer put around 20-25 hours of play into the story, unlocked Jin, and progressed to the ending point of the third labyrinth (there are 10 story labyrinths total), if not a little bit further.
"Driven by passion, (indie games) have the potential to develop unique games big studios would never greenlight. Enter Shujinkou, a dungeon-crawling JRPG with Japanese language learning as a major part of its core focus. There’s something you’ll never see Sony or Nintendo do, and the industry will be better for the effort.
"I like the story well enough to dig my heels in, and the characters are well-written and fleshed out on top of that. The game does a great job of making the cast likable while being multifaceted. I appreciated the way all their attitudes and motivations could really show through, no matter the situation."
"You may mistake Shujinkou‘s battle system for the same turn-based mechanics you’ve seen for years. While it derives from the familiar, it cleverly utilizes language mechanics to great effect. (...) It’s genuinely turned into a combat system I thoroughly enjoy."
"On top of the dungeons, there are towns you can explore. You can chat with different folks, buy food and gear, interact with your friends, and pick up side quests from the mission board in town. These can range from taking out a group of enemies to bringing certain items from your dungeon dives. The breadth of content here is impressive."
"The game also features a banger soundtrack that never felt out of place."
Review Conclusion
"Shujinkou and games like it are why I love the indie scene so much. (...) This went from being something I’d never heard of to one of my favorite conceptual experiences in years. I’ve both grown to enjoy the dungeon-crawling format and picked up a TON of Japanese in my time with the game. If you’re interested in indie games, RPGs, or learning Japanese, I recommend considering this gem. It has its flaws but I think it’s been well worth my time."
Bottom Line: "While Shujinkou isn't perfect, the fusion of Japanese language learning and turn-based combat provides a wonderful title that both educates and satisfies the gamer patient enough to learn and engage with its systems."

We continue unveiling the vehicles of the Shadow Protocol Battle Path with the prize that will be the easiest to obtain – the T-64BV Mod.2022 Main Battle Tank.
T-64BV Mod.2022
As we mentioned in the previous article, the Shadow Protocol Battle Path has two themes – the main one is mercenaries and their history. The second one is the past, the present and the future of warfare. The T-64BV Mod.2022 represents the “past” aspect since it is an old vehicle retrofitted to meet the requirements of contemporary battlefields.
But, as usual, a bit of history first.
The T-64BV Model 2022 is another small upgrade to the previous T-64BV Model 2017 Main Battle Tank that, as its name suggests, appeared more or less in 2022. The main improvements include two things – a new machinegun mount for the Laska K-2 machine gun (possibly based on a reverse-engineered Soviet “Utes” machinegun) and enhanced rear protection in the form of cage armor and an additional plate covering its fuel tanks.
T-64BV1K Mod.2022
There is some confusion regarding the features of this vehicle as it is very similar to T-64BV1K, an upgraded command version of the same tank. Both vehicles also seem to share additional rubber flaps covering the turret ERA.
The T-64BV Mod.2022 was produced in unknown (but likely not high) numbers with the most common estimates being between 10 and 30 vehicles.
In Armored Warfare, the T-64BV Mod.2022 will be a Tier 8 Premium MBT.
As you might have noticed already, the T-64BV Mod.2022 is very similar to the earlier T-64BV Mod.2017 but is positioned a Tier higher. To make it viable on Tier 8, we are taking the following steps:
Improved armor (as the vehicle shares the armor with T-64BV Mod. 2017, we will be upgrading the Mod.2017 armor as well) along with additional cage armor elements covering the rear sides
Improved firepower (by using the ammunition available to BM Oplot and an anti-tank guided missile called “Kombat”)
Improved 6TD engines (1000hp in the basic version, 1250hp available via additional progression)
Furthermore, the vehicle will have a passive ability called Advanced Battlefield Management System.
This ability is a nod to the “command” version of the tank mentioned in the historical description above (even though a regular T-64BV does not have such systems on board – we took some liberties here).
The ability is similar to the one used on the T-72M4CZ MBT, but more advanced. It improves your reload speed by 3 percent for every friendly vehicle within 50 meters from you. A full platoon of T-64BV Mod.2022 operating in sync will indeed be a force to be reckoned with!
Otherwise, the vehicle will play in a typical fashion similar to other Soviet, Russian or Ukrainian vehicles, which means it’ll be relatively easy to master and therefore suitable for new players.
We hope you will enjoy the vehicle and, as always:
