Robes & Wrinkles - tombstone.studios
Well, I would say that the past couple of months for us at Tombstone Studios have been an absolute blast! Taking part in an incubator program such as Dundev really pushed us to learn and grow. Here's where this update comes in! Lots of features added to the demo to finalise it's release.

Robes & Wrinkles Demo Update Patch Notes:

New:
- Main Menu is now an interactable environment!
- Font Alteration in line with a more comic aesthetic
- Game Intro Comic improved (Done by the lovely Laurance Campbell)
- Sway added to the player’s camera movements
- Gargoyles are now possessable!
- Key room puzzle updated
- Replaced text boxes with voice over
- Audio queue for when the player gets hit
- Spectral Sight now has a coloured vignette
- Swords can now break objects
- Death screen animation
- Audio queues for all enemies
- Audio queues for all interactions between possessed objects and enemies
Fixed:
- Telekinesis Book radius increased
- Tutorial Icons colour changed in line with new intro comic
- Tutorials now disappear once completed in starting room
- Controller Main Menu interactions
- Spike trap to side room now does damage to the player
- Removed enemy in flame breathe room
- Gargoyles now awaken as player enters the ambush room
- Removed invulnerable state of Greg as he attacks
- Removed “Arena” option from Title Screen

- Colour coordination of Skully and the ability that is currently selected

- Telekinesis Book brought to the front of the room
- Torch VFX Updated
- Lightning Flashes altered
- Door now slams after entering key room

- Loss of a life now has an animation
- Player damage indicators improved

Known Bugs:
- Possessed Gargoyles slide around if player isn’t moving
- No knockback on gargoyle projectiles

Special Announcement
All items in the game are now (theoretically) obtainable, meaning the game can be 100% completed.

+Added a special message at the end of the game.

Begrudgingly made the tutorial a bit easier by making the vent bigger and easier to see and backflip to.

Changed the Rocket section of the game to be more vertical like the caves and other levels.

Changed the Overworld swinging challenge.

Moved some skin/hat pickups around.

Fixed a few minor bugs and issues.
TDS - Tower Defense Strategy - asmanwoks
This hotfix is meant for tuning our new beloved Vessel and fixing some pretty stinky bugs!
She is to powerful, godly in-fact in some cases... While she still is, it's only in spirit... All hail Fie

Fie's Wall Base health increased slightly and per-level health increased (which compounds on any upgrade more significantly)
Fie Adjusted Purple Grenades damage to be 1 less
Fie Adjusted Orange Rifles damage to be 1 less & reduced base health
The weapon generation for Fie's Silos is notably slower
Fie's Circular Routing has been fixed, the effect now applies 1 second after the tide converts acting ADDITIVE rather than EXPONENTIAL on existing Circular Routers. The effect has been reduced to 5%+ rather than 10%+ (we'll see if this is enough, i still enjoy the very high potentially busted behaviours of this one, so... We'll see if it can survive in current TDS economy :P)
It also has slightly increased costs
Fie's Knight Security Group's health increase has been reduced significantly
Fie's Purple and Blue Knight's Base health has been reduced a tad
Fie's Keep & Silo now has lower base health
Alongside fixing Smacky's Beacon and Fie's resistance (which still compound on one another), Smacky's beacon resistance has been reduced abit with the health increase effect being boosted

Hotkey for Fie's wall building from a existing fie wall has been bound to 5

Fixed a visual issue with the True Knight's attack
Made selection of fie's towers while knights are nearby abit ways easier
Fixed a issue with Fie's Lifeline Wall upgrade blocking enemy movement entirely
Fixed an issue with Smacky's Beacon and Fie's Resistance upgrades
Fixed a typo on one of Fie's resistance upgrade descriptions
Fixed a hitbox issue with Skyhook causing some bombs/things to not target correctly
Fixed Fie's Wall hitbox to be easier to click on
Fixed a very small potential loading issue that can occur at high loads
Fixed an issue with Hydroplane allowing building underwater

The cardinal's Processing plant and Drink Stand are now compatible
Drink Stand rework! It now costs AURA to spawn! But the effect is VERY significant. Hopefully this will differentiate it quite a bit as it's a later game building!!! Also theres actually a person running it now

I started small with Evil Robot Traffic Jam HD, a tiny game that was an HD version of an even tinier game. Then, I created Sky Cannoneer, which was a bit bigger... but Reality Break is downright huge! It even uses similar cloud technology from Sky Cannoneer for one of its zones :).

Use the Rewrite mechanic to change the fundamental nature of the gameplay: resize a weapon to fit your ship, upgrade items to unlock fantastic powers, increase the difficulty, add time to a ticking clock, and more! MORE DETAILS:
  • The game will be launching on February 21st for $9.99, with a 20% discount for the first two weeks (so $7.99 in practice).
  • It features three maps, fifteen biomes, sixteen boats, thirty weapons, and 150ish fish to catch. If playtests are anything to go by, this results in somewhere around 30-60 hours of content for completionists.
  • It ALSO features a storyline exploring the Fisherman’s cosmic debt. To resolve this debt, you’ll need to delve into the eldritch waters beneath the earth, learn arcane rituals, and slay the Leviathan before it consumes you.
  • It’s about 3-5 times larger than the demo? At least. There’s a LOT of content here, including a fully-fleshed-out metaprogression system and fourteen separate game-bending lures which augment builds and give access to special ultra-rare bounties.
  • If the game launches well, I have plans for multiple free content expansions with new maps, boats, weapons, and more! The first content expansion will be called WOMEN WANT ME.
  • I will be taking down the free demo when the game launches. This isn’t because I’m opposed to free demos, but because the demo will corrupt newer saves and completely erase 90% of your progress if you try to open it after opening the main game. There’s no way around this outside of completely remaking the demo, which I probably… do not have time to do.
  • That being said, if you played the demo, the game should remember your progress when you start the full game, and unlock anything you would’ve unlocked at your current level of progression!
Thank you to everyone who played the demo, or wishlisted the game, or reached this page through other means! The game's evolved a lot since the demo a few months back, and I feel that it's turned into something really special. This game owes a lot to everyone who's provided feedback on the game in its various stages. I hope you enjoy the full experience!
