Wow! After a lot of work, Marigold is finally ready to open her Market (Board) for business! We've packed this update with a lot of other exciting changes that you can read about below!

Marigold's Market
We are super excited to release our vision of a Market Board into Darza's Dominion! Please be sure to leave any and all feedback in our Discord. You'll find the Market is ran by Marigold. You can find her room northwest of the spawn in the Tavern.

Player-to-player trading will still exist if you choose, or list your items on the Market Board and wait for them to sell!



Market Fast Facts
  • There is a 7.5% tax on all purchases, paid by the buyer and rounded down when applicable
  • You can pay Platinum to nullify the fee. The current rate is 1 platinum per 10,000 silver cost
  • Listings expire after 30 days
  • There is a limit of 24 listings per account
  • You can click the headers (e.g. Quantity) to sort by ascending or descending

Silver
Silver may be confusing to some so we're going to clarify and make it as simple as we can. Silver is Glory that can be used without dying on your character. You will still gain Glory on your character, and it will be converted to Silver on death. You can also gain Silver in various ways without dying. The Silver gained will go directly to your account balance.

Silver will drop directly from specific enemy types in Intermediate to Expert difficulty level encounters, dungeon chests, and more content in the future. Here's a range of Silver drops per type:
  • Dungeon Bosses: 3 - 121 silver
  • Regular Bosses: 2 - 103 silver
  • Mini Bosses: 1 - 85 silver
  • Dungeon Chests: 0 - 13 silver
Silver Fast Facts
  • Silver can be earned in various ways: Killing specific enemy types, dungeon chests, and more in the future
  • Silver is added directly to your account balance
  • Glory can be looked at as alive Silver
  • Silver is basically still Glory but can now be given without having to die

Dropped For
Have you ever wondered who originally owned the item you just bought on the Market Board or from another player? Starting today, you'll always know! From today forward, all items will have their original looter displayed at the bottom of the tooltip. It is denoted by the Spirit sprite followed by their name.



This is a change we're all super excited about. It's simple but will be very cool to be able to flex that you looted all the items yourself.

Loot Shrine Changes
We've made some changes to Loot Shrines that we want to mention upfront. It's no doubt that key sales make up a good portion of our income. When intitally implementing Loot Shrines we made the decision to remove them from key spawned dungeons. We're now reversing that decision and they will once again be available to dungeons opened via key. There are some changes, however!
  • Dungeons opened by key will cost 20 gold per 10% boost
  • Dungeons opened naturally (enemy spawn) will now cost 10 gold (down from 15) per 10% boost
We believe this will make keys more attractive to players who wish to support us via key pops and shrine boosts, while making it cheaper for natural spawned dungeons.

  • Added affix, soulbound, and stack icons on trade & reroll menu
  • Added special bags and chests at any distance on the minimap

  • Added tooltips for items with reroll discounts

Changes & Adjustments
  • Changed cost of all Glory-bought items to reflect new Silver gain expectation
  • Adjusted various Attainments related to Silver to account for gain rate increases
  • Adjusted the Time Out of Sync error to be more lenient to those with unstable connections
  • Changed Dead-Man's Hand drop tables from public to soulbound
  • Adjusted sfx for a few chests to be less epic versions
  • Adjusted settings menus on mobile and PC to have headers and be better organized
  • Changed mobile tooltip to help with performance
  • Changed mobile boss health bar to help with performance
  • Updated dungeon chests
  • Updated Shrine of Devas dungeon generation
  • Updated visuals for status effects on enemies and players
  • Updated damage text during Juggernaut's Shielded ability
  • Updated size of text on mobile tooltips

Balance Changes
  • Increased cost of reroll 150% to account for earning silver from bosses and chests
  • Reduced base chances for cosmetics from squishing enemies
  • Reduced multipliers for cosmetic drops
  • Health/Mana regeneration from projectiles that give status effects now correctly count towards healing contribution points
  • Reduced music volume
  • Reduced dispersion of Frost Cavern, Chasm of Dread & Infested Cellar

Fixes
  • Fixed backpacks costing 200 gold instead of the intended 99 gold
  • Fixed remaining issues with slots
  • Fixed draggable tooltips not behaving correctly
  • Fixed multiple issues with Projectile Ack checks
  • Fixed memory leak in the server
  • Fixed crash that sometimes happened while opening product screens
  • Fixed size of TOS Alert
  • Fixed visuals for barriers on mobile
  • Fixed animated items while hovering over other players
  • Fixed several lines showing their values as grey instead of white on mobile tooltips
  • Removed health bars and status effects when enemy is invisible
  • Removed "Damage:" and "Heals:" lines if value is 0

Visual & Environmental Adjustments
  • Made walls draw faces black when next to void/empty tile
  • Adjusted lighting in Primal Marsh
  • Adjusted behaviors of several Shrine of Devas enemies

The Immaculate Drag - DiscreteInfinity

Hey, quick update to let everyone know v0.11 is releasing on Feb 15th (Saturday)!

Depending on your timezone, this may reach into the early hours of the 16th. While I'm not too sure about the exact timing, I expect it to be made playable between morning and afternoon, Pacific Time.

This is a little bit later than originally planned, due to the addition of extra content. I've added a new ending scene, expanded two of the scenes, and created 15 new animations— including some for the Act 3 Rena scene which previously wasn't animated.

Looking ahead, I expect v0.12 will follow around late April. This will be a lengthier update, featuring less branching options, and focusing more on the protagonist's past and their relationship with Valerie.

I hope you enjoy playing v0.11! I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts and suggestions. Thank you so much for your patience, and for supporting Rebel Duet. ❤️
