We have been able to fix several issues you've reported with VED, and incorporate small, but noticeable improvements as well - therefore we have just released an update with the following changes:
Added separate sliders for selecting subtitle and voiceover language in settings.
Fixed bugs that could cause unnecessary delays during dialogues in Chapter 1.
Improved the wording of some choices in Chapter 2.
Added a GENERAL HEALTH WARNING disclaimer before the game launches.

Hello! Artists are working on their tasks and you should see the first previews pretty soon. So far, I’ve got young polar fox design in the early stage as a teaser. In contrast to classic kitsune, we decided to explore Eastern Europe as a source of inspiration. That’s why she looks different to most girls we have in the game. What do you think?
Of course, other artists are doing their best, their works should arrive later in this development cycle. I’ll post sneak peeks as soon as I’ll get their art packs. Stay tuned!
The main quest is almost done. In most cases, I’m waiting for art packs to arrive to arrange cutscenes and other dialogues. So far, the new update should roll out in the usual window – February 14th-16th. If anything big will happen, I’ll make a separate info post.
The rest of the time will be devoted to new combat and seduction encounters + the old idea about seduction encounter alternative. We made a lot of progress and rooted out most of the problems aside from switching to different idle animations after an interaction with the girl. I can’t find a proper way to do this with code. The alternative will be to just do it via Spine itself. Though, this will bloat the animation file size, and the Spine plugin doesn’t take kindly to that...
Anyway, the first girl (young bear) should be fairly easy to finish if we’ll overcome the last problem without too much trouble. Still, this is a lot of work per character, and I’m not sure that our current team can juggle the extra workload. Either way, we’ll talk it over once we’ll get the first girl out and decide based on your feedback.
Also, don’t forget to participate in the active “next girl” poll for the upcoming winter zone. The winner will join the monster girl roster in future updates.

A new patch is coming to Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, available on Wednesday, January 29th, at 8:30 AM UTC. This update primarily includes bug fixes across all platforms and introduces a new anti-cheat system for PC. Additionally, all race and Time Attack leaderboards will be reset, giving everyone a fresh start with these challenges. A few hours of game maintenance will be required to apply the update and reset the leaderboards.
Leaderboards reset
We believe it’s important to reset the race leaderboards as soon as possible to ensure fairer competition and provide a clearer comparison among the best Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown players. Many race times set during Season 1 have become unbeatable for two main reasons:
Several Hong Kong Island race restrictions were reworked at Season 2 launch
Some car performances and upgrades were adjusted in Season 2 to improve overall car balance
In addition to the points above, there are also impossible times set by cheaters on both Hong Kong Island and Ibiza races. The introduction of the new anti-cheat system is the perfect opportunity to reset the leaderboards and give everyone a fresh start. Going forward, leaderboards will be reset periodically. As car balancing and race restrictions may evolve in future seasons, periodic resets will ensure fair competition in the race leaderboards.
A new anti-cheat system
Some cheaters have significantly impacted race leaderboards, negatively affecting other players' experiences, particularly on PC. With the upcoming update, we are introducing the SARD Anti-Cheat system for PC players: a well-known solution that has proven its effectiveness in many games. Over the past few months, we worked closely with the SARD team to adapt their technology to Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown and deliver a fairer gameplay experience.
Coming Next
The development team is now focused on the upcoming Season 3, which will introduce new features and significant quality-of-life improvements that you are looking forward to! As we announced in December 2024, the original roadmap has been revised. The Clan War feature, originally planned for Season 3, has been postponed to prioritize gameplay improvements and deliver new features which better embrace the Test Drive Unlimited DNA.

We wanted to give you a status report on Update 3, and a sneak peek at what to expect.
We're happy to confirm that Update 3 will release in February and will include support for NVIDIA's latest generation Blackwell GPUs; new graphical features and options; and bug fixes based on feedback you've provided. (Notably, issues that have prevented some players from 100%-ing the game and from climbing vines or squeezing through walls in Sukhothai.)

Fusions for legendary units now have a limit of one fusion per unit. This change is not retroactive.
Thresh the upcoming legendary Binderburg Antimatter Attacker can now be previewed in the index.
Balance
Sansi's Passive Skill was changed to now trigger off of being hit rather than damaged, but instead inflicts Repair Down III, instead of Block Repair. This will trigger even when she blocks an attack while the Block Attacks buff is active. Additionally, her refit was changed to now trigger off of enemies being directly repaired, regardless of the type of skill the repair came from, but can only activate up to 3 times per round.
Purifier's Charged Skill was changed to now additionally Cleanse 1 debuff.
Tygr's Charged Skill cooldown was lowered to 3 charges, down from 4. Additionally, it now first applies the Stasis and deals damage after. Her Passive Skill was also buffed to now grant her a 30% damage increase, up from 20%.
In this update for the demo version, several new mechanics have been added, one of them is mercenaries who can be hired and tamed, they will help you in battle using good weapons and shooting range. The "Time Loop" menu and terminal will allow you to get cases and items for time points that can be obtained by playing the game, you will find the menu by opening the inventory or terminal in Commander Steel Demon's room. The challenge board will allow you to get to additional levels to test your strength and diversify the gameplay, it is also located in the commander's room. I will be glad to hear your comments and suggestions, subscribe to the social networks of the project and add the game to what you want, there is very little time left before the game is released.
