Its been another month and time for an update from the developer - aka me ๐ค
Welcome to all the new players
As you might have discovered, there haven't been a lot of game updates this month. The reason is that I have spend the majority of my time basically supporting new players, new mod creators, doing marketing related stuff and a whole lot of "other" things, related to making a game.
That's just how it is right after a major update have been pushed, especially with a multiplayer update like this that brings in a lot of new players.

However, I am slowly starting to get back to actually working on the game, as we are starting to get out of the "high season" for fireworks.
When that said, I have actually worked on some stuff, just haven't pushed it out yet as it's not ready.
I don't want to go into too many details, as you can see it in the changelog when I push it, but in short it's basically some bug fixes and some changes to how the "day/night" cycle looks, in an attempt to make it possible for modders to have more options for how their maps look and feel.
Live Streams
If you subscribe to my YouTube channel or follow me on Twitch, you will have seen I have done a bit of live streaming lately. I will see if I can do it a bit more in 2025, as it's a nice way to interact with you guys and for you to get a glimpse into what's going on in even more details then in these Developer News.
Around 06:55 in this live stream I over a rough roadmap for 2025 (I won't complete it all in 2025) but to give you an idea of what I'm looking into as I see it right now.
So a very short Developer News this time, as there isn't a lot to report right now. However, as said, I have been working on an update that will be pushed soon (I hope) with some bugfixes and day/night cycle changes. After that, I will start looking into upgrading to Unity 6 which will be the foundation for the future development, as mentioned in the live stream above around 06:55.

General . overall polish . Small optimization pass . Challenge mode no longer available for the demo version . updated teleport feedback, to make it more visible where you end after using it. Added visual clues to give information on what teleport are connected. . added resolution screen selection in the options menu for 16:9 variations. . Updated Steam store page. . Now demo has a dedicated store page, to try gather comments on the state of the demo and enjoyment.
We have just released patch version 1.2.3. It contains small bug fixes, which you can read about below.

Soft- and Deadlocks
Fixed a case where items could not be given to Adalgis for the quest
Fixed a bug were Doro doesn't move to Nemeton during the quest

Tweaked all hit boxes and timings on humanoid melee attacks
Improved pathfinding of Leshens

Fixed aggro behaviour sometimes triggering through walls
Fixed worms sometimes healing themselves while being in combat
Fixed a bug where the door for missing weapons quest was not opened in time
Fixed a bug where Ivera moves back and forth
Fixed NPC journal entries when using letters that are not included in English alphabet
Fixed Jagged Knife not actually causing proper bleed damage
Fixed a bug when dragging & dropping of abilities on themselves in the spell panel
Fixed Bady not regenerating health after fighting him
Fixed a bug where a new character was loaded after dying without autosave being active and never saved manually yet
Fixed a case where water creatures in the moor left the water
Here are the patch notes for THE 8IGHT ver.25.1.5:
[Patch Notes] 1. Nightmare Cave Event Adjustment Fixed an issue where the cave animation would occasionally not play. โป You can now crouch and move inside the cave as intended.
2. Difficulty Adjustments โ The fall conditions for a specific mini-game event where you descend have been significantly relaxed. โ Certain event triggers have been made more noticeable.
