为了这个版本,我们对玩家的商店内容做出一些变动。我们为购买正式版的用户们添加了内置的Playtest版本,因开发决策变更,我们会对接下来的免费内测资格审核增添限制,但只要您拥有资格,您随时可以体验测试版

为什么要这么做呢?
综合多个原因,我们决定为玩家增添Playtest版本应用
  1. Playtest版会用于将来的各种更新,对于游戏的关卡平衡性测试,操作更新方案,以及美术内容都可能会在Playtest版抢先体验
  2. 我们尚未完成的美术素材不适合在正式版中向大家展现,因此可以在测试版中使用
  3. 熟悉本体的玩家的测试效率会更高,也会更有助于我们的修复
益处与弊端?
这样的决策固然会带来很多坏处,包括但不限于:
  1. 测试版必然是对将来内容的修复和改善,玩家会被提前剧透更新内容
  2. 测试版的内容也会给玩家一个接下来更新内容的预期,但并不是谁都喜欢这种方式
  3. 可能会出现非常多出戏,不严肃的文案和视觉表现
  4. 测试版玩法不具有连贯性,而是针对关键内容做测试

不过,我们坚信Playtest的开放最终对玩家们有利
  1. 随着更新的迭代,我们会将关卡打磨致我们力所能及的最好
  2. 玩家们可以积极提出自己期待玩到的游戏玩法与关卡设计
  3. 可以真正意义上在开发内容方面与开发团队做无距离的沟通

QA环节,我们都可以玩到什么?
Playtest相当于将开发进度和新内容透明化,我们希望以此方式为玩家带来有趣的内容
  1. 可以抢鲜体验未完成的新章节
  2. 可能有机会见证到不同版本的废案和新想法?
  3. 提前了解部分主线剧情线索?试试看能不能猜出正式版的剧情?
  4. 可提前感受实验性的新玩法,新机制和特殊关卡

接下来的开发日程和更新计划是怎样的呢?
  1. 玩家社群反馈并非所有人都喜欢全屏体验本游戏,但非1080p会让部分图像压缩变得模糊,所以我们的第一个更新计划是针对900p,720p等低分辨率的优化,调整UI大小,布局等问题
  2. 核心机制的完善,我们会在近期为大家实装手动存档机制,选章系统,以及简易的设置UI,有关游戏难度的相关支持项则需要一段时间的等待,关于键位修改,我们会安排在后续的更新内容里。
  3. 手柄支持,开发组可以提供Xbox One等机型手柄的适配,并在后续的测试中逐步尝试增加手柄独立UI,手柄震动反馈等沉浸感优化
  4. 第四个更新计划则是第三章后篇,我们准备了前所未有的超大体量关卡,长达2小时的大型箱庭解密,Boss战,敏捷类玩法以及更多趣味内容,敬请期待后续更新和测试

Version 1.02 is our first post-release patch. The game is in a pretty good place overall, but there was one rare crash that has been fixed. Other than that it's just sculpting out some balance stuff here and there, nothing too extreme. Enjoy!

Version 1.02 Patch Notes
- Item shops now have 2 abilities and 3 equipment instead of 3 and 2 respectively
- Mind Knights now always drop a sword (and don't crash the game, that's nice too)
- No longer show level 5 upgrade on abilities you already got the level 5 upgrade on
- Flaming Yardstick pushing power increased slightly, and damage decreased. This is to help maintain its identity against other abilities.
- Fixed incorrect info in Flaming Yardstick's text
- Stake cooldown increased from 2.5 seconds to 2.8 seconds.
- Game timer should be unified between different areas where it's reported in the app now.
- Flames (like green shells) now always only damage the player for 20 damage, no matter what. They still scale vs enemies though.
- Slowed buff now lasts 1 second longer and is slightly stronger in terms of its slowing effect
Lost To Riches - Intense Skin Nurturing Action
Hello all, we've got another small update. This one is more focused on Endless Mode as opposed to broad changes to the game.

Four new curses will put you through the ringer in Endless mode! As well as existing curses being balanced slightly to make Endless slightly more fair!

Below is an in-depth list of changes:

Curse of Cloning

Forces only one enemy type to spawn in a room

Curse of Handling

All weapons now have bullet spread, weapons like the shotgun or the grease gun have dramatically increased bullet spread

Curse of Elites

Only Elite Enemies are allowed to spawn. On Hard, the amount of tough enemies that can spawn in a room is increased

Curse of Collateral

Taking damage has a 1/4 chance of damaging items

Improvements to existing Curses
  • Tweaked the damage of fire caused by Curse of Inferno
  • Curse Of Vanishing will no longer activate if your current balance is less than $10
  • Fixed a bug that caused aggressive ranged enemies to reload to get their infinite ammo

The Remaining Changes
  • Reduced how much extra damage enemies deal in Unfair Mode
  • Enemies no longer scale based on floors cleared in Unfair Mode
  • Improved enemy difficulty scaling:
    Enemies have slightly less damage as the game progresses
    Enemy health scales slightly less as the game progresses
  • Enemies will properly scale in Endless when going from the VIP Suites to the Casino Floor
  • Times Looped in Endless is now properly factored into the final score
  • A hidden room has now been properly decorated...

  • Build no longer supports 4:3 aspect ratio - too many issues with misplaced text and assets - will now use black bars if your screen is in 4:3.

We're happy to report we’ve got this bi-weekly update ready to go, addressing some of the issues many of you have brought up on the Steam forums and our Discord. Your feedback has been invaluable and keeps us pushing to make Breachway the best it can be—thank you for that!

An Update on Meta-Progression
We know a lot of you are excited about the meta-progression update we’ve been teasing, and we wanted to give you a quick update. After taking some much-needed time to recharge over the holidays, we’ve made solid progress, and it’s almost ready to head into internal testing. This update is shaping up to bring a lot to the table—better balance and power scaling, new cards, upgraded cards, more meaningful progression and ways to track it, and plenty of reasons to dive back in for another run.
It's turning into our biggest update yet!

While we’ve been working on meta-progression, we’ve also been adding more content in preparation for the game’s third sector.
