A Horrible Ending
Seeing all you amazing people enjoying Hell Dive meant a lot to me personally. I loved it!
BUT the sheer disappointment with the ending and the empty promises of a deeper lore, really frustrated me and the team. We heard you! In the end, I failed to deliver the unsettling horror experience I set out to create, and that is unacceptable.



This is being corrected as we speak. Over the past week, I’ve been writing, biting my nails, drawing, pacing, pulling my hair, grinding my teeth, and drinking endless cups of tea. But it was worth it. Now, we have the foundation for an ending that I believe fits the game.

There will also be some new small scares to enjoy, added to build up for the new ending.

  • Cave Bear 60 gold <= 100 gold, and 50 gld <= 90 gold.
  • Rat, Dove and Parakeet gained <Domesticable> tag.

As you know from our second-to-last update, our current focus is on developing the gameplay module – the virtual tabletop that will allow you to play online with your friends in the levels you create with Multiverse Designer. We are advancing well without any major setbacks, so we expect to make it available in the beta very soon.

But that’s not the only news we’ve got for you today. Today we are sending an email to all our backers with a new Steam key that later on will identify each tier, so everyone can get their digital rewards and addons. Eventually, it won’t be possible to access the beta without having one of these keys activated, so check your inbox (and Spam folder if you don’t see our email) and redeem your new keys as soon as possible, so you never lose access to Multiverse Designer!

Notes From the Underground #3 - The Chase



"I’m not sure where to start. It all happened so fast and my ears are still ringing as I write this. Everything is a blur, but I’ll try to note down what I can recall.

It started with a trip back to the Wilderness to check on the progress of my latest automation. I’d set up a series of conveyor belts and robot arms to help with the collection of the ore I was mining from a huge Scarlet Boulder. Everything was running smoothly, so I decided to scout the area for resources while the drills were at work.

I was low on food, so I set off in search of plants to cultivate. I don’t know how long I was out looking, but my seed pouch was nearly completely full before I realised I was much further into the Wilderness than I’d ever gone before…and something felt wrong.

I heard it before I saw it. A low, persistent thrum that grew into an ear-splitting buzz. Whatever it was, it was huge. I ran without looking back, but I could feel it closing in. In a panic, I let loose a couple of the grenades from my backpack and the greenery around me erupted in a sea of flames. Still, the creature persisted.

I thought I was done for, but then I spied it in the distance. A Waypoint! I swear I could feel its mandibles on the back of my neck as I teleported out. That was too close a call."
