We've been getting a lot of questions about whether you can play Coridden on the Steam Deck.

Officially, we haven't got that green tick from Steam yet. However! We decided to give it a try on the Steam Deck ourselves, and you know what? For us it worked just fine.



We played for a bit and Coridden plays smoothly, without dropping frames. Cloud saves work as well, so you can play a bit on Steam Deck and pick it up on PC later if you'd like 😄 It's important to mention, though — we played only a little bit to get the feel of it, and haven't finished the game.

From what we know, the more people play our game on Steam Deck, the faster we'll get verified!

We’ve been gathering tons of valuable feedback from you and are working hard to address the issues you’ve reported. The next patch is approximately two days away, may less! (Fingers crossed!)

We’re also updating our >>>Roadmap<<< and will continue to keep it as up-to-date as possible.

Improving Overall Performance
Performance has been the strongest area of feedback we’ve received. The upcoming patch will include a significant number of performance improvements. Of course, you can expect even more improvements in future planned updates as we optimize the game.

Crashes
While we’ve resolved and patched some crashes, occasional issues may still occur. We’re actively collecting your crash reports (so please hit that Send button!) and investigating the problems. Rest assured, we’re fully committed to addressing every crash in future updates.

What About the Next Patch?
We want to share details about what you can expect in the next patch! (DEV Note: These updates may be split into separate patches if needed.)

Optimization
  • Making improvements to optimize performance. We’re also exploring the possibility of lowering the Minimum System Requirements, but of course without losing too much visual quality. In the future, we also aim to increase the overall visual quality as much as possible. (DEV Note: This may take a few more patches to hit perfect performance.)
  • FSR support is one of the most frequently requested features and is on the way.

New Accessibility Features
  • The Invert Mouse setting has been divided into separate horizontal and vertical options.
  • Adding Invert Horizontal/Vertical settings for controllers.
  • Adding settings for Gamepad Magnetism Strength and Gamepad Magnetism Radius.
  • Adding more sound effects for Spell and Archetype Unlocks to improve UX.
  • Adding bigger font sizes for card descriptions to improve UX. (DEV Note: This may slip to another patch, but bear with us!)

Localization
Russian and Chinese language support is on the way!

Changes & Balancing
  • Reworked Glacial Step and Fiery Charge: These abilities can now pass through enemies during use.
  • Reworked Meteor Storm: This ability now deals damage to airborne enemies as well.
  • Reduced Meteor Storm radius from 10m to 7m. (DEV Note: Slightly nerfed.)
  • Increased Meteor Strike radius from 5m to 7m. (DEV Note: Slightly buffed.)
  • The Damage Area Increase card now also affects the radius of the Contagious Burn and Meteor Strike.

Bug Fixes
  • Fixing an issue where key rebinds are not saved after exiting the game.
  • Fixing the controller aim assist vertical issue.
  • Fixing multiple ring abilities of the Mumadonna boss. Some rings are not dealing damage when moving away from the boss; they will now deal damage as intended.
  • Fixing an issue where card selection sometimes does not appear.
  • Fixing an issue with Arcane Missiles auto-lock not targeting shielded enemies.
  • Fixing an issue where Morva the Defiler's projectile attacks bounce back even without The Mirror Mirror Card.

What’s Next? A Small Glimpse Into the Feature Updates!

Thank you all again for jumping in and slinging spells with us at the beginning of our Early Access journey with RotM!

Our team is working hard, day and night, to respond as quickly as possible to your feedback. Even though we’ve already planned a lot for RotM, your participation is what will make this game even better.

Even for a Early Access launch many find really easy and fast to complete the current game content (not necessarily unlocking everything, but generally speaking). Some players like this, but others don’t. So we’ve already started working on possible solutions to be able to balance the time and effort required to complete the game with the current content.

This might raise a question for many of you: Are we going to reset the current progress? For now, no—that’s not part of the plan.

  • It's hard to see some bosses within all the chaos of combat, so we planned to add an indicator for the boss, so players may more easily track them. This feature probably will have a QoL setting in the options, for those who don't want to use it.
  • When a player uses ALT+F4 or if the game crashes mid-run, players lose their hard-earned gold. We’re actively working on a solution to save your gold without breaking the high-risk, high-reward concept.
  • We’ll bring more cards and permanent upgrades that can be combined with the Archetypes!
  • Leaderboards, Steam Achievements, and Trading Cards are features we want to introduce as soon as possible. (And Cloud Save for Steam!)
  • Deck-building is one of our priority features, so you’ll be able to choose your favorite cards and leave out the ones you don’t like.

We're happy to see so many of you enjoying the last major update "Merry MerX-mas" - we hope you had some great holidays and a good start into 2025.

Thank you all for the detailed reports on some issues, we can mostly fix with this patch, alongside various improvements:
  • Fixed Priest's AoE scale to the intended size. Anti-Priest's life siphon should heal more reliably, too.
  • Reduced the pulse frequency for Priest's "Vampire Squad" special.
  • Fixed automatic level-ups still triggering when your Commander dies, forcing you to spend level-ups before you can exit the run.
  • Fixed automatic level-ups triggering during the battle intro.
  • Fixed an instance where you could get stuck in the Missions list in the Pause menu when using gamepad or keyboard only.
  • Fixed missing UI animators for various elements.
  • Fixed UI layout in the map overview details panels that sometimes caused overlapping texts.
  • Added a delay and slow-down effect to the camera animation highlighting the Extraction Point.
  • Changed the Barrage warning to appear at T-30 instead of T-20.
  • Boss Intro now shows the name of the Boss instead of the placeholder text.
  • The grave of your Commander holding your lost components from a prior run appears again.
  • Fixed Dash Cooldown leveling beyond its level cap.
  • Fixed a mismatch of kill counter in HUD with actual kill counter.
  • Fixed potential objective rewards showing "0" for unavailable loot options in the map overview details panel.
  • Fixed scrolling texts in UI overlapping with icons or remaining cut off, particularly after switching languages.
  • Fixed and replaced multiple icons corresponding to stats or upgrades.
  • Replaced icons for unlocking new maps.
  • Added "Exclude" option to generic Commander level-up upgrades.
  • Beacons no longer spawn when your Merc slots are filled but you still have open Gear slots.
  • Gear Crates only spawn while you still have Gear slots to fill.
  • Gear Crates drop XP as fallback loot if you capture it after your Gear slots are already filled.
  • Complication "Neuro-Inhibitors" correctly shows and applies the XP debuff.
  • Slightly enhanced the full-body illustrations for the bosses.
  • Prepared various Merc full-body illustrations to be used in upcoming mission dialogues.

We're aware of these known issues and will try to fix them with upcoming patches & updates:
  • In rare cases, you may get stuck in the game if you die to the Barrage at the end of battle. We can't currently reproduce this, please report back with details if you encounter this issue.
  • Shock bolts may stack on larger enemies instead of jumping to the next target, causing more damage than intended.
  • The UI may disappear after certain camera animations. We're currently investigating this. If you encounter this, please report back with details.
  • You can still equip "no weapon" by canceling out of the weapon selection window/list. This will be fixed in a future patch with a dedicated "unarmed" option for your Commander.
  • The game's performance can potentially degrade heavily when playing at very high screen resolutions (UHD+), please lower the resolution to a maximum of 1440p if you encounter this. We are still trying to find the root cause of this problem.

What's Next?
We're working on the next major update to complete the main part of UI 2.0, Weapons & Synergies 2.0, and start adding new content to the game. We may run another community playtest before releasing it, so join our Discord to get the latest news first.

On the occasion of the Spring Festival, the production team of "Samsara" offers our sincere wishes and blessings to all the players who love and support us! On this joyful day, we not only want to thank everyone for your companionship and encouragement over the past year, but also excitedly announce an inspiring news - the brand new character, the dancer WanQing, is about to make a stunning appearance, and more exciting content is in preparation. Stay tuned!

Looking back on the past year, from the initial release of the DEMO to now, it has been exactly 365 days. "Samsara" has undergone countless iterations and sublimations during this journey. Whether it's the meticulous art design, the intense combat system, the smooth execution moves, or the rich expansion of the storyline, they all embody the hard work and wisdom of our team. Now, we are busy with the final audio optimization and dubbing work, striving for perfection in every detail. We believe that a more splendid and colorful world of "Samsara" will soon meet everyone.





In this upcoming feast, the dancer WanQing is undoubtedly the brightest scenery. To shape this character, we deeply explored the essence of Chinese style and cleverly integrated opera elements into it. The addition of martial actor and clown roles not only enriches the game's character system but also adds a strong cultural heritage to WanQing's story. We know that the vitality of a character lies in its uniqueness and storytelling, so with the help of friends, we successfully obtained the music license for the classic song "Chiling".



The melody of "Chiling" is sorrowful and moving. To perfectly present the fusion of music and character, we were fortunate to invite performers from the Shanghai Theater Academy. They not only designed a water sleeve dance for WanQing but also participated in motion capture work, portraying every dance move and every look vividly. The water sleeves fluttered lightly like floating clouds and flowing water, and WanQing danced gracefully on the stage, seemingly traversing time and space to narrate the dust-laden story. This innovative attempt not only makes the character of WanQing more vivid but also adds a rich touch to the game's storyline.









During the creative process, we witnessed Wanqing's transformation from the initial concept setting to the present vivid form, with every detail reflecting the team's pursuit and love for art. From the exquisite clothing design, repeated deliberation on dance moves, to the emotional interpretation of voice actors, every step strives for perfection. We believe that when players witness Wanqing shining on stage, they will be deeply attracted by her charm.

Looking ahead, "Samsara" will continue to uphold the spirit of craftsmanship, constantly explore and innovate, bringing more exciting content to players. We know that it is the support and suggestions of players that drive us forward, so we want to express our sincerest gratitude to every player here. May everyone be healthy, happy, and write our legendary chapter with "Samsara" in the new year.

War Thunder - Blitzkrieg Wulf


The Warbond shop for “The Last Legionnaire” Battle Pass season will be open from January 22nd until April 23rd.

Check out the Warbond shop selection that you can earn by completing Battle Pass challenges! As usual, there’s decals, decorations, player icons, camouflages, a stylish pinup that continues the new series, and six premium vehicles for you.

Be sure to take a look at the German BV 238 bomber! It carries 20 x 250 kg bombs and can protect itself with powerful 20 mm autocannons and 13 mm quad mounts. This was one of Germany’s largest aircraft in World War II!

The War Bond Shop is available from Rank III and is part of the Battle Pass. You can purchase items with a special currency called War Bonds, which can be obtained by unlocking Battle Pass levels.
P-40F-5 Lafayette

A French rank II fighter, best fitted for low-altitude combat. Unlike the previous P-40 variants, this one is armed with six 12.7 mm machine guns. It’s also fast and has access to bombs.

IJN Nenohi — first time in the store!

A mobile Japanese Class II destroyer with limited firepower but access to fast and deadly 610 mm Type 93 torpedoes.

Strv m/41 S-I

The Czech LT vz. 38 light tank produced under license in Sweden. Its light armor is compensated by mobility, good gun depression and shells with great armor penetration.

BV 238

An impressive German bomber at rank II, featuring a huge bomb load, 20 mm autocannons and 13 mm machine guns as defensive armament. And it can land on water!

A Soviet rank II gunboat with a 76 mm tank gun with high-explosive and armor-piercing shells, as well as dual 14.5 mm machine guns for fighting aircraft and other vessels.

M4A5

A Canadian tank on the chassis of the American M3. This second variant featured a 57 mm cannon instead of a 40 mm. It boasts good penetration and fire rate, effective protection, and can lay an engine smoke screen for a tactical retreat — something fairly unique for a tank at this rank.


“Ulfhednar” pinup decal

We’ve lined up some decals for you this time round and have included a trophy with decals from the 2017-2018 Warbond shop, as well as the new “Ulfhednar” pinup, continuing this series of themed decals. In the “Helmets” trophy, you’ll find helmet decorations in the form of infantry helmets and tank crews of various nations, and the player icon trophy this time features some Soviet tankers. Trophies with random camouflages are available when new levels of the shop are unlocked like before.

A large number of useful items are also available in the shop: boosters, universal backups, wagers and orders, premium vehicle rentals, and talismans at high shop levels!
