Various improvements to game resolution and UI scaling.
Finalized all aspects of the game's resolution to support all possible displays.
Final fix for a very rare crash on the loading screen.
Fixed an issue where a building plot sometimes displayed a whole bunch of incorrect building options.
The second army now spawns in combat perfectly aligned and sorted by unit type.
Fixed a bug where mounted siege weapons were self-destructing or getting quickly destroyed.
RTS quick-select unit button: Monk and Imam now have their own group, and the Horse Cart has been moved to the Livestock group.
Additional fixes for a very rare issue preventing some players from starting the game for the first time.
Improved the appearance of some UI buttons on the world map.
Decreased upkeep for all types of cannons by 30%, for both silver and stone.
Increased stone production on the world map by 20%.
Reduced the speed of mounted units to make it more realistic.
Reworked a section of the tutorial to prevent players from getting stuck when inspecting resources.
This update is directly related to the last release.
Major Changes:
All Boost Buoys have been removed and are replaced by a boost tank that the player can fill as they play. The boost tank can be filled by gathering boost items. The Blue Boost will grant 3 seconds of boost and the Red Boost will grant 9 seconds. The tank can hold a total of 16 seconds.
The overall top speed of the boat has been lowered but with boost, anything is possible!
Jump is back! It requires you to have boost in the tank and has a 3 second cooldown.
Core Gameplay:
Boat functionality above and below water has been updated. The boat can now move more freely.
While underwater, the boat will pitch up or down based on the general velocity and trajectory it's currently moving in. This lets you dive and rise MUCH faster. You can almost touch the clouds!
Sprint Mode has been removed for now. More to come.
The checkpoint visual appearance has been updated again. They are no longer made of particles but are instead solid objects. This helps clean up the overall clutter on screen.
Spike hazards now remove boost and are shrouded in fog.
More work has been done to race time capturing. More to come.
GP races now show the progress of where you are in the GP and bring you to a congratulations level when the GP is completed.
Level section menus have been overhauled. Cups and their respective levels are now on one screen. They show a small screenshot.
Visuals:
We have added another UI to show if you have passed or failed the required times for Gold, Silver and Bronze. After pressing continue, the final race results are shown.
Race Details in the Race Results have been disabled for now. More to come.
Water spray visuals have been improved to help convey the boat velocity.
Firework size and performance has been drastically improved.
Updated many models to be more detailed yet more performant.
Side Notes:
Overall performance has been improved with foliage, particle effects and water.
Regions still need to be updated so some text may not be translated.
There has been improvements made to controller capturing for menus.
Dev Comments:
If you have time, please join the Discord and let us know what you see!
When you take screenshots and videos, try and have the FPS in the corner.
Another patch for the experimental version! Thank you for all the feedback :)!
Changelog v-386-bfb22dd: - Improvement/Bug fix: Popup to handle possible controller issues on MacOS when starting the game - Improvement: Improved player UI in the main menu - Improvement: Bot should not pick up from magnet wagon anymore - Improvement: Bot now only picks from supercharger, miner & collector when a resource is needed with high priority (eg crafter can’t craft or a specific other wagon is selected) - Change: Overwrite stations now allow actually 5 overwrites (instead of 1) - Improvement: ESC->“Restart” is now only visible when playing custom maps and has a modal confirm - Improvement: ESC->“Restart from last station” is now available when playing with the toy engine - Bug fix: When pressing pick/place before going to an element that requires holding the pick/place button, the hold-timer was already running (e.g. cartridges or signpost). Now you can only start pressing once you’re highlighting the item. - Balance: Turret shoots a tiny bit slower than before when supercharged to the highest level; the water capacity is now related to its supercharged level and not its original level
Hi everyone, in this update we have added support for multi-faction cards. Cards can now support up to a maximum of 2 factions, and for creatures up to a maximum of 2 subtypes (of different factions). You will be able to add one or more multi-faction cards to your deck, as long as they share at least one faction that is the same as your deck. Multi-faction cards can only be obtained in mixed packs, or in the laboratory. The main faction will determine some visual effects during battle, as is already the case with single-faction cards (we will think about improving this in the future as well) We have modified some in-game cards by making them multi-faction to start releasing this feature.
New:
Added support to multi-faction cards
Added new premium battleground: Wastelands (available in the shop)
Added subtype info on card window details
