Minor quality-of-life changes: Hint about quick reset added to the interface. More intuitive display of active/inactive checkpoints. Adjustments to default input and music volume settings.
We would like to inform you about the details of the maintenance scheduled for January 21st.
The following activities will mainly be carried out: 1. Addition of the character card "Riesz" 2. Balance adjustment of some character cards 3. Bug fixes etc.

This update addresses some feedback we received regarding checkpoints, specifically in multiplayer. There were some cases where checkpoints weren't correctly applied for players, so even though you passed a checkpoint, you would still get sent back to spawn.
Additionally, we realized it's no fun having to wait for your friends, so we now added the option for shared checkpoints. Enabling this will allow all players to go to the same checkpoint, even if they themselves haven't reached it yet but another player in the lobby has.
Lastly, we already had Ukrainian support, but now we've also added Russian support, добро пожаловать!

This update IS compatible with savegames from previous v0.98.0!
- Expanded the saving system with multiple slots:
...... There are now 8 manual save slots, instead of 1! ...... Saved games are named by default with the world name, but can be renamed as preference. ...... Saved games can be deleted by right-clicking on them. ...... Interface expanded to accomodate the new save/load panel.
OTHER RELEVANT CHANGES:
- [Survival] Added cave ambience sounds (echoed water drops, depending on rain and humidity). - [Survival] External ambience sounds (birds, cicadas, crickets) will reduce their volume when inside a cave or shelter (just like wind and rain). - [Survival] Melee damage calculation reworked: character strength and muscle mass have now a much higher impact on melee damage, making strong characters quite more powerful compared to weaker ones. - [Survival] Cut Hair and Crack Coconut actions are now tied to the Butchering skill + minor rebalancing to their progress speed. - [Survival] When jumping higher than an animal's reach, chasing animals (except adult T-Rex) will still try to hit the player, missing and suffering a brief delay - this makes jumping much more useful for dodging attacks. - Fixed a rare game freeze when saving (should apply to old saves too, but not 100% sure)

We'll also be keeping the LYMBUS demo up for the next few weeks for those who want to try out the game before buying. Please note that demo save files are semi-compatible with the full game (most unlocks will carry over), though we recommend starting fresh for the true LYMBUS experience.
So, what comes next? While we consider this full version of LYMBUS as a complete product (except for any bugs, which you can report in our Discord), we do plan to continue updating the world of LYMBUS. Some plans in the pipeline include alternate versions of the three main biomes with additional challenges/rewards, new cards and plug-ins, and new story content and secrets.
In the next 1-2 months after launch we plan to mainly focus on addressing quality of life improvements to the game before moving onto any major features. We're also happy to take any suggestions for new content in the Happy Accident Discord.
