Wow. It's launch day. First, we apologize for arriving a little past our scheduled release date. It took longer than expected for Steam to approve our build. But know that we took that extra time to improve, polish, and play-test Checkout to ensure that you're getting the best experience.

We'd like to say a huge thank you to everybody who played our demo and gave feedback on how Checkout could be improved. Trust me when I say that we listened to every point and implemented almost every suggestion. Checkout is 100 times better because of you cashiers.

Also, we'd like to thank all the kind words and support that we have received. We never imagined this little game would resonate with so many people. We've been gamers for as long as we can remember and only in the past year did we finally muster up the courage to make games ourselves and now here we are. It truly is a dream come true. We hope our story can inspire you to chase your own dreams as well!

Coming Soon

Here's a list of things that we have in store for Checkout. Some may be more immediate while others may take a little more time to cook.

  • Endless Mode - Play a shift without the timer. Great for when you want to put on a show or podcast in the background.
  • Seasonal Decor - Give a festive vibe in the break room depending on the month.
  • More, more, more - More products, more customers, and customer dialogue lines.
  • Localization - I'm going to try my best.
  • MacOS compatible - 🍎

And of course we will be monitoring the game for any bugs to be squashed and quality-of-life improvements that can be made. We'll try to solve those issues as they arise.

For the third demo version for Out of Hand Deluxe we are focusing on localization. 5 new languages are now supported: Swedish, Spanish, Portuguese, and Simplified & Traditional Chinese.

We've also done a few smaller bugfixes and some updates:
  • Changed font to enable support for all languages
  • 5 different maps to play on
  • Invincibility for half a second when dodging
  • Sound effects for steps, dodge, item pick up and some ambient
  • Trail effect when dodging
  • More accurate outfit names

The event will take place on reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/Strinova/
Post your final spray on r/Strinova using the “Spray Creation” flair.

Your spray must be entirely your own work. (No AI art or plagiarized content.)

The spray must be complete (no rough drafts, partial edits, or stock images), must connect directly with Strinova, and can feature Kalu from Discord—but please avoid non-Strinova IPs.

You can submit multiple entries, but each Navigator can only win once.

Keep your WIP files in case we need to verify authenticity.

Want to protect your art? Feel free to add a watermark.
