Sarah just released her horror school asset pack for FREE! Yes, FREE!!! There are 37 tiles, 37 objects, 18 attached objects, and 2 effects. This is in addition to the hundreds already released in the Asset Library! She made at least one new model for EVERY day of 2024! 😲
Like all of the assets she's been making and releasing for FREE and want to help support her tireless, year-long efforts? Please consider making a small donation via Patreon (it's super easy to make a one-time pledge and then cancel) or even purchase RPG in a Box for a friend as a gift. It would really mean a lot to her, and go a long way in helping allow her to keep making more models in the future.
The EA is coming. To better acquaint everyone with the game, we have upgraded the demo's core to the official version and added support for Russian. The detailed update contents of the demo include: 1. Added Russian language support. 2. Comprehensive UI upgrade. 3. Introduced thunderstorm weather, requiring caution against lightning during navigation. 4. Introduced wind system, necessitating attention to wind conditions during navigation. 5. Brand-new difficulty system: Survival is easier on lower difficulties, resource acquisition is simpler, and sailing speed and character running speed are faster. 6. Added anchors to ships. 7. Added telephones to ships, enabling communication with other ships using horns. 8. Implemented a harbor docking mechanism; docking in harbors will fully stabilize ships. 9. Introduced a weight system, with three weight options now available. 10.Added an engine upgrade module for the mechanic-merchant in Canopy Village. 11. The game can now be paused and settings changed through the settings interface within the game. Updated some models. 12. Fixed numerous bugs. 13. Optimized resource consumption in the startup interface.
- Improved autopilot (more often reroutes "just in case") - Improved beacon event (now generated only at NPC stations) - Fixed pop-up window about global event - Added setting for resource distribution by warehouses at stations - Fixed one of the desynchronization errors when loading the game (possibly related to the problem of ghost ships) - Added wear of warp engines during jumps
• replaced body-part collectibles (hands, feet, eyes etc) with 3D models • same with push-buttons in the sokobans • replaced a skybox in one of the early-mid levels, and tweaked the level layout, to create more visual variation and clarity - I'm gradually working through this issue of variety overall, the visual similarity of all the early levels is one of the game's biggest challenges to overcome as a solo dev but it's getting much easier to give it attention now that most mechanics are complete

Fixes to a few problems I didn't manage to catch before uploading the changes to stamina!
Fixed tutorial starting with stamina enabled, rather than activating halfway through. (I didn't add a good override for stamina in the tutorial, so it was just pulling from your settings.)
Fixed a bug where you would immediately regenerate stamina upon touching the floor, but only if you haven't touched the toggle stamina button.
Reduced stamina regen speed to 125% of the original (down from 200%).
My apologies to those who started with that first bug, I'm sure it screwed up the learning curve. ːsteamsadː
