Dear Operators, We'll be rolling out an update on December 26 with no downtime. Gameplay and matchmaking will not be affected during the update. If you encounter any issues after the update, please restart the game to complete the update. The main highlights of this update include:
New Game Modes ● RAID Mode - Operation Serpentine Opening Time: 1/1/2025 Mode Details: Operations introduces a new multiplayer RAID instance: Serpentine. Venture deep into the eastern region of Ahsarah and hunt down Hamke. Work together to achieve various tactical objectives and clear the instance. (*Serpentine offers multiple difficulty levels. The highest difficulty level, Extreme, demands exceptional combat skills and teamwork. Clear the Extreme level for the first time to earn a Legendary P90 appearance!)
● Warfare - Siege Period: 12/27/2024–12/29/2024: Limited-Time Threshold - Siege 1/1/2025–1/7/2025: Limited-Time Cracked - Siege 1/8/2025–1/14/2025: Limited-Time Ascension - Siege Mode Details: Multi-point attack and defense in a single sector. Capture all objectives before the attacker's Troop Force is depleted to win.
New Year-Themed Event ● New Year Supplies Period: 1/1/2025–1/19/2025 Event Details: Celebrate the New Year with themed rewards. Play Warfare or Operations matches to complete objectives and earn milestone points. Accumulate milestone points to receive New Year rewards! Rewards: Avatar - 2025 New Year, Calling Card - New Year Snow Fight, etc.
Operations Events ● Operation Serpentine Period: 1/1/2025–1/26/2025 Event Details: Clear the extreme level of Operation Serpentine for the first time to claim the Legendary firearm appearance: P90 - Mystic. Rewards: P90 - Mystic, etc.
● Telepathy Period: 12/27/2024–1/9/2025 Event Details: Purchase or produce a Neural Injection on the event page. Use it in-match to trigger illusions and discover hidden features in the new Brakkesh area: New Tower of Babel. Open the password door to get weapon appearances and supply rewards! Rewards: Armament Vouchers, Return Medals, etc.
● Resume Offensive Period: 1/1/2025–1/14/2025 Event Details: During the event, complete specified missions to earn Novon Chip Material Boxes. Bring these boxes to designated locations in Operations matches to produce Novon Chips. Extract with the chips to decode passwords outside the match (one chip decodes one digit; a safe has a 4-digit password). Enter the password of the corresponding safe on the map to receive the Novon Project Supply Box. Extract with the supply box to open it outside the match, with a chance to receive a gold collectible (same item cannot be obtained twice). Rewards: Each safe opened grants out-of-match rewards. Open 9 safes to get the appearance: M700 - Maritime Forest.
Warfare Events ● All-out Siege Period: 1/1/2025–1/14/2025 Event Details: During the event, Siege milestone missions are available. Play Siege matches and complete objectives to claim milestone rewards! Rewards: ASV - Carbon Hive, etc.
● Arms Courier Period: 12/27/2024–1/2/2025 Event Details: During the event, upgrade specific firearms (M700 Sniper Rifle, P90 Submachine Gun) to complete objectives and claim rewards! Rewards: Armament Voucher, Warfare 2x EXP Card, Premium Weapon EXP Token.
Weekend Events ● Weekend Supplies Period: 12/27/2024–12/29/2024 Event Details: Log in for rewards. Play matches during the weekend to claim packs! Rewards: Log in to receive the MC201 Helmet and Marksman TAC Vest. Complete matches to obtain Weekend Luck Supply Pack and 10 Armament Vouchers!
● Weekend Campaign Period: 12/27/2024–12/29/2024 Event Details: Threshold is available in Seige. Complete matches to upgrade easily! Rewards: Log in to receive Weapon EXP Token. Play matches to get obtain Weapon EXP Tokens and 10 Armament Vouchers!
● Genesis Initiative IV Period: 12/26/2024–1/1/2025 Event Details: Limited-time Tekniq Alloy store. Rewards: Quantum Keys, Armament Vouchers, and Advanced Safe Box 7-Day Access Cards now purchasable with Tekniq Alloys.
● Genesis Frontline IV Period: 12/26/2024–1/1/2025 Event Details: Exchange Warfare points for rewards. Rewards: Earn Warfare points to obtain Quantum Keys and Armament Vouchers.

Bug Fixes & Optimizations ● Fixed the issue where players could place Respawn Beacons in certain inaccessible areas on the Shafted and Ascension maps. ● Fixed the abnormal drop rate for MandelBricks in Brakkesh. ● Fixed the issue where players couldn't use vehicles properly after vehicle deployment.
Map Balance Adjustments 1. Optimized the boundaries and objective areas for Sectors A and B in A/D mode on the Ascension map. 2. Optimized the objective areas for Sector D in A/D mode on the Ascension map. 3. Optimized the objective areas for Sector A in A/D mode on the Cracked map.
Call-in Attack Score Requirement Adjustments 1. Reduced the score requirement for Artillery Barrage from 8,000 to 7,000. 2. Reduced the score requirement for Strategic Beacon from 9,000 to 8,000. 3. Reduced the score requirement for Wheeled Tank Destroyer from 9,000 to 8,000. 4. Reduced the score requirement for Assault Vehicle from 6,000 to 5,000. 5. Increased the score requirement for Guided Missile in Sector D in A/D mode on the Ascension map from 18,000 to 20,000.

The Employee Update (v0.3.0) is now available. This is the second major content update for Star Chef Simulator. We've added new job types, many customization options and reworked the employee system. I was hoping to have 1.13 released by December 9th which was Wyoming Winter's 2nd birthday on Steam however I have a lot of other work to be doing which has slowed progress so it is looking more like a January release date just like 1.12 which released this past January.
Going into the new year and looking at future updates I think I will attempt to cut down on the amount of work I am doing in each update to get them out more frequently as these yearly updates are a bit far between.
Anyway I hope everyone is looking forward to 1.13, lots of new content and areas to explore.
