We are truly delighted that so many gamers have played the Marisa of Liartop Mountain demo, and the entire development team is deeply grateful for the reviews we’ve received. Every piece of feedback and every opinion you’ve shared has been carefully read by all members of the development team.

Marisa of Liartop Mountain is a game that strongly respects classic gamebooks, but we acknowledge that this has resulted in certain aspects of the game being less accessible. Additionally, as we were unable to implement all of the features planned for the final version in the demo, we sincerely apologize for the unintended gameplay experiences that may have resulted.

We’ve also received many requests to ""include more Touhou characters."" Regarding this, the development team deeply regrets that we were unable to include many elements in the demo due to time constraints in adjusting the game systems and scenarios. The members of the Scarlet Devil Mansion are ready and waiting, so we ask for just a little more patience. Thank you for your understanding and support.


Below are the fixes and updates we plan for the full release.

・QoL updates
　We will release a patch to improve the gameplay experience, including message skipping, faster animations, and the ability to retry from checkpoints (please see the patch notes below for details).

・Strengthening the TTRPG flavor
　We will enhance the experience so you feel the vibes of ""playing a tabletop RPG together.""

・Strengthening the CRPG element
　We will enhance the enjoyment of CRPGs by improving character progression and introducing more intricate combat mechanics.

・Strengthening replayability
　Giving better replayability for more game-play.

・Better world design
　We will provide more exciting adventures!

・Game mechanics for a deeper Touhou feel
　Fans of Touhou can enjoy seeing familiar faces deeply involved in the game.

The whole team will continue to develop the game which while deepening our concept of Tabletop Style RPG. We hope you will look forward to the full release and the demo version based on the final product of Marisa of Liartop Mountain.

As the first update, we have addressed bugs in the demo and made improvements to enhance playability. We hope for your continued support for Marisa of Liartop Mountain.

・Added a speed option for the dice roll animation
・Added the option to resume the game from midway after a Game Over occurs after the start of Chapter 1
・Added additional tutorial text
・Changed the BGM for Chapter 9998 and added one new track
・Fixed an issue related to monitor vsync settings
・Adjusted menu labels for monitor selection settings

Update Log

1. Fixed some part of English translations.
2. Fixed the issue where the Dream Shop purchase bonuses were not displayed in the desktop Dream icon.
3. Fixed the goods inventory issue after canceling the placement.
4. Updated the "Skip Story" function key. To make it easier for you to take screenshots, now you need to long-press the "Ctrl" key to skip the story.

The in-game lobby has been transformed into a Holiday theme.
Some heroes, such as the Horse and Mandrake, also have their skins updated.
Once the season ends, these changes will revert, so why not take this opportunity to center your gameplay around them?
This year, it's just visual changes, but we hope to introduce dedicated events and more in the coming years.
This will be the final update for this year.
Next year, we have plans for numerous updates, including the addition of Challenge Mode.

1. Added the 'Decay' series of Enchanted Artifacts

Description:

a. Enchanted Artifacts from the "Decay" series cannot be equipped but grant increased Pneuma through Polymerized Decay.

b. How to Obtain:

I. Defeat specific enemies.
II. Craft through Alchemy.

2. Polymerized Decay UI Update:



3. The Arachne Safe can now distribute 'Polymerized Ectoplasm (Red)' and 'Polymerized Ectoplasm (Yellow)'.

Description:

a. All plant points in current levels now have a chance to yield the new Polymerized Ectoplasm.

b. The materials obtained from the delivery of Polymerized Ectoplasm (Red) and Polymerized Ectoplasm (Yellow) can be used in Alchemy to craft the 'Decay' series of Enchanted Artifacts.

4. Spectral Hall has added the Arachne Safe.

Description:

The Arachne Safe allows the delivery of rarer Alchemy materials.

Balance Changes:

1. The delivery time for the Arachne Safe has been extended, and the item limit for delivery has increased.

2. The material requirements for certain recipes have been reduced.
