Dexter's was settling into its usual lazy routine during the winter. A few old timers sat around, swigging their beers.
Everyone heard the roar of the v8 engine pulling in outside, and the stomp of feet coming to the door. Wait, was that one set of feet, or two?
The door burst open, and a huge bear-clawed mutant stood on the threshold, the year's first dusting of radioactive snow caught in his fur.
"Santa Claws, my friend!" shouted Dexter.
"Grooooowoar! Who's been naughty, and who's been nice this year!?" roared Santa.
"Listen up, I'm putting on two events this year- an arena combat followed by a deathrace. Top prize in each is a fire engine, magically chromed-up by my elves in my workshop in Morgan."
"December 29th, 20:00 and 21:30. With qualifiers earlier that day for the deathrace. Everyone's welcome!"

But to make things a bit more interesting, you can double your chance: you just have to try HexLands and submit at least a bit valuable feedback through the ingame dialog. (If you also participate in the Discord giveaway, make sure to use your Discord handle in the contact field)
And now here are the changes:
Treasure chests which when claimed, offer you new cards into your deck. This way you have another type of objective on the islands and also deck building has a faster pace.
New card mechanics, with a few initial cards already added:
Per turn resource generators, so e.g. now you can build on a Forest either a classic Lumbercamp, or a Forester's Hut which gives you more lumber but over 5 turns.
Building converters, e.g. now you can upgrade Houses into Manors.
Demolish buildings to free up some space!
Buildings which provide bonuses based on nearby resource providers
Buildings which provide bonuses based on nearby population
Buildings which provide bonuses based on nearby tiles, e.g. water or mountains
Cards which give you a new card after using them, e.g. a Pasture gives you Manure.
Cards which can be only used on specific buildings, e.g. Manure gives you extra food if used on Wheat Fields.
Gold is unlocked after the second isle: all isles offer gold using cards and with that towns also start generating gold on level up
Tile claiming visuals improved: slight UI improvements, and if the claiming is due to a new House that's being placed, the House card will be anchored to its future tile.
Island affixes are clearer to read: they are grouped into good and bad affixes, and within a group they are sorted by impact.
Specific error messages, so now you know why exactly you can't e.g. build on a tile
Map and card algorithm fixes and improvements
Now you can replay the tutorial
A toggle to confine cursor to the game's window
Tiles have tooltips when hovered and also increased resource tooltip visibility
And other various small features, polishes and fixes.
Now I think I'll stop adding new cards for a bit. Instead I'll gather some feedback on the ones just added while I start implementing a new level of progression, the final one, throughout a run. Hopefully development will fasten up a bit, now that I've lost my dayjob. ^^

We're having an influx of new players, so I'm also noticing a spike in crash reports. Most seem to be coming from external sources, so I've upgraded our crash reporter to detect those, and provide specific advice. Our nemesis, graphics crashes, have also appeared again. In order to help diagnose them, the patch now adds automatic logging of our internal rendering operations, and also links to a new troubleshooting section about those graphics issues. Hopefully this helps a few folks 🧡

P.S. We always test our patches, but if you start having issues with the game, and you think it's due to our latest patch, we usually move the previous build to a Steam "beta". In this case, the previous build is available in the beta called "old-1_11_1a" (Right click Tiny Glade in your Steam Library → Properties → Betas → Beta Participation).
To all the players out there following the development progress of KaiJu Girls... Howdy! Today, we'd like to get everyone up to date on...well...the latest developments!
We've been working our stinky butts off to ensure that the game is of the highest quality and is packed with tons of fun content. Here are some of the exciting updates players can look forward to:
1. More character visuals and CGs: We want the game to be a veritable feast for the eyeballs (and other body parts), so we're adding even more character visuals and storyline CGs. We think this'll create a more vibrant world as well as spice up the story.
2. Refined movements and "director's cut" content: We've heeded your requests and are packing this puppy with tons of dynamic scenes and pics. This includes dynamic character visuals as well as CGs, all of which will liven up the game's feel. Besides this, we're adding a "director's cut" function for Karasu Chan's CG variations. You'll be able to turn it on or off in the settings. Turn it on to check out Karasu Chan's truly original, juiciest take on KaiJu Girls.
3. Kickass story events: We really want KaiJu Girls to have a well-rounded, deep storyline. And to help achieve that goal, we're creating plenty of events and side stories. Choose your own adventure! A single choice may lead to a completely different ending.
4. Chinese and Japanese voice acting: That's right! To enhance the game's atmosphere, we're recording the game in both Chinese and Japanese. We can't wait to see (and hear) how realistic and emotionally compelling each version will be.
5. Original soundtrack: To truly bring this world to life, and to ensure the story is as thrilling and exciting as can be, we set really high standards for the game's soundtrack. This OST is gonna make the world of KaiJu Girls that much more immersive. DEMO INCOMING! To give players a taste of KaiJu Girls, we're cranking up the speed to release a demo. Steam Cloud fix on macOS and Linux
We've fixed a 100% Orange Juice issue with Steam Cloud so that it allows cross platform saving (on macOS and Linux). If you have made progress on one platform, launch a game on that platform to upload the progress to the Cloud once more, after that it should work on other platforms too. (Make sure to launch the game on the platform with the most recent save to not lose recent progress!)
Important for macOS users: Only do this if you have already made progress on macOS, otherwise no action is needed: Copy the "save" folder: ~/Library/Application Support/FBF/100OrangeJuice and paste it inside the game directory, next to 100OrangeJuice.app. In order to reach the game directory, right click the game in your steam library, under Manage, click 'browse local files'.
