Latest Update: The Avalanche and Core System Changes
We're hard at work on future updates, and the latest patch introduces the Avalanche, a new missile-focused ship built to overwhelm enemy defenses. Combat has been rebalanced with redesigned Flak mechanics, Blast damage synergies, and improved card interactions to encourage creative builds.
Features: -Added an Inventory System. You can place up to 6 items in the inventory, and it is shared between players in multiplayer. -Added new background music.

We’ve fixed all the bugs reported so far, especially the translation issues.
Auto-forward should finally work properly now, so you won’t have to keep clicking (unless you want to).
We’ve also added a Polish translation of the game! If you speak Polish, be sure to check it out and let us know what you think (if you don’t, well, it probably won’t be your thing).
We’ve added collectibles! Soon (we’re still waiting for Steam to approve it), you’ll be able to unlock 7 trading cards, 8 Riley-themed emoticons, 4 character backgrounds, and 6 badges while playing. We hope you’ll enjoy them!

Bug fixes
Fixed the 'fall though the world' bug when walking around Borgo Marina
Fixed a lot of translations errors in various languages
Fixed some conditions preventing to end the "Bambina Scomparsa" mystery.
Fixed some missing Achievements
Added some missing cards to the Mind Palace
Fixed the Camera clipping plane (it was too near)
Fixed the button to remove the UI with the Camera equipped
Fixed the ability to properly reset some settings both in game and in the main menu
Fixed a potential soft lock at dinner time after going out to see the falling star with a friend
Fixed some issues in the Mind Palace
Removed the D-PAD on screen glyph when the player has no tools
Fixed an issue while leaving the Ice Cream shop with an ice cream flavour
Fixed the romance with Peina. If done as the first romance tha player was given no choice and had to kiss her, preventing future romances.
Fixed a cheat with the piggy bank
Fixed a bug preventing the player to get the Level 2 fishing rod. If you get the fishing rod Level 3 first, Level 2 unlocks automatically. If you're already unlocked the Level 3 fishing rod, just talk to Chea to get the Lefel 2 fishing rod.
Lots of other small bug fixes.
Quality of life improvements We've added some 'soft' fast travel options during the story! While it's not a full fast travel implementation, this will require more time, those fast travel point should help while playing the story:
After solving the Villa di Orlando Theft mystety at Chea you can back to the Villa immediately.
After finding the Fidato's villa gate closed you can fast travel back to Chea immediately.
After ending the Mystery at Forte Esterin you can fast travel back to the Docks
After finding the Lexua's boat and the fallen tunnel you can fast travel back to Villa De Montoni
After ending the Lexua's interrogation you can fast travel back to Villa Fidato
After taking the final picture of Borgo Marina for Paun you can fast travel back to the Foto e Foto shop
Ultrawide support We're striving to offer full ultrawide support in the future, but it still needs a lot of improvements. In this build, we've unlocked all the resolution options, so you should be able to play the game with your native screen resolution. You may have some visual glitches, but it's a first step!

Hi all, we've released a new patch for the Early Access 0.80 version of Kill The Climbers, introducing the Defense Upgrades that make defending your mountain from the climber hordes all the better! Included as a bonus in this update is the newly created Bestiary, which holds valuable information on climber enemies and animal allies... Knowledge is power!

New Feature: Defense Upgrades
- Trap 'Quality' Upgrades: You can now upgrade the statistical effectiveness of each trap up to Level 6, which also improves the unique qualities of each trap like its damage, damage over time, and slowing debuff. - Trap 'Quantity' Upgrades: You can now upgrade the number of placeable traps of each type from the default of 1 up to 3. - Traps: While the basic Mountain Traps of Icicles, Bones, and Ice Slicks themselves were already implemented, they've since been rebalanced to better account for their new upgrade potential.
New Feature: Bestiary
- Bestiary Entries: Each climber enemy, mini-boss variant, and animal defender ally have their statistics documented for your viewing pleasure! These entries will be updated periodically in future updates to reflect the latest balancing of the game. - Future Plans: Although the fundamentals of the Bestiary screen have been implemented, we will work to further refine its appearance, information, and gameplay utility between now and the next update. For example, we plan on introducing rewards for killing certain types and numbers of climbers, redeemable from the Bestiary.
Known Issues:
- The Tutorial segment may leave certain visual tooltips beyond the tutorial's duration. - There may be visual issues on certain monitors and resolutions. - The 3 second pause after the in-game skills menu may not necessarily pause everything. - Some animals sometimes may follow climbers without apparently damaging or killing them. - Potential bug where the defender quantity meta upgrades can cause issues with animal defender behaviors and spawning. These defender issues may be present regardless of the meta upgrade. - Some animal dens still aren't placed accurately in the Prep Phase boxes and maybe be visually overlapping with others. - Extra animals from the Defender Quantity meta upgrade won't appear at the Prep Phase screen, will require you to put a skill point into a particular defender first. - Doing avalanche at the game over screen may cause infinite shaking. - Potential bugs with animal quantity meta upgrade which may not give as many as it should, or extra defenders may seemingly disappear after a time. Or, it could be that they're just stacked on top of each other perfectly so you can't see them all. - Left-Clicking in the bottom left corner of the screen may cause your wind gust to disappear/despawn. - Some climber abilities are not yet fully implemented and are a work in progress. For this and other reasons the game is currently easier than intended... for now.

Antique firearms will be much more expensive but also more challenging to repair. A real treat for collectors and history enthusiasts!
