Hey everyone, here’s Devlog Update 1!
It’s hard to believe, but it’s already been two months since I announced the game (time flies!). During this time, I’ve been working hard on the game, and I’m really happy with the progress I’ve made and how the game has evolved. I’d like to share a few updates with you (keep in mind that these changes will only be available in the demo around February when I prepare the V2 demo for the Steam Next Fest event).

What’s new/changed:

First and foremost, I’ve revamped the dialogues. I wasn’t happy with the fact that our character couldn’t say a word, so I reworked the dialogues, and now we have full conversations. I’ve also improved the story, characters, and their behavior. It’s much less stiff now, and I experimented a bit with writing the characters and dialogues – I promise they’re much better! Also, the character animations are no longer wooden; they now react and have more poses.

Another major change is the computer interface. You now have access to the desktop with several apps. There’s a lot more, but I didn’t want to overdo it. I’ll also add that you can now interact with open windows or check important information around the park.

I’ve added new types of reports, more events, and several quality-of-life improvements. Unfortunately, I don’t want to spoil too much for now, but believe me, there’s a lot happening!

There are still a few more things I’d like to change, but I feel like I’m on the right track to finish the game by February/March.

As always, I’d like to thank everyone for playing, for the feedback, and for adding the game to your wishlist. It really helps keep me motivated to continue working on it (and believe me, it’s not always easy!).

Stoneshard - Wayfinder
  • Simplified the requirements for certain Caravan Upgrades.
  • Added a line to some items’ hover about their possible use in Caravan Upgrades. This line will disappear once all the relevant Upgrades are installed.
  • Added an automatic line to the hover of all items that can be transformed into Fodder, which will appear after gaining access to the Caravan.
  • When used for crafting Fodder, herbs will now yield slightly more of it, and berries, straw, and fruit - slightly less.
  • Smoking Mix no longer requires a Crafting Bench.
  • The effects of the Ranger Brew and Leif’s training now count as Mental.
  • Wigmar will now trade during the evening.
  • Possibly fixed the issue with the “Finding the Quartermaster” quest, which didn’t correctly track its stages after leaving the Sentian Company’s Camp.
  • Fixed the incorrect order of lines in the Brynn Book Printer’s dialogue and added a few lines for avoiding his politics talk.
  • Fixed the bug with Leif remaining in the Camp after using his “Supply Run” perk.
  • Updated the checks for detecting whether Leif and Alda are present in the Caravan when attempting to move it.
  • Updated economy hovers to improve the readability of some price modifiers.
  • Fixed the crash connected to saving items inside containers.
  • Fixed the situational crash caused by transferring arrows into quivers.
  • Fixed the crash caused by acquiring Sea Pearls from Sea Shells with no free inventory slots available.
  • Fixed the crash caused by triggering a dialogue while moving items inside containers.
  • Fixed the crash caused by moving between certain locations.
  • Fixed Bern still using Village Elders’ dialogue lines.
  • Fixed the “Around Aldor in a Day” and “The Real Treasure AND The Friends We Made” achievements.
  • Fixed “Yes, Chef!” and “DIY or Die” treating basic recipes and schematics as newly learned.
  • Followers-related achievements will be retroactively granted to all players who’ve recruited them before the fix.
  • Numerous text fixes.
  • Added special log line for waking up in the area affected by the “Nightmares” Situation.
  • Fixed cloaks not protecting against “Wetness” as intended.
  • Fixed “Special Spices” slowing food spoilage in the Caravan Storage by 25% instead of the intended 75%.
  • Fixed the Lion Banner not granting its Health Restoration bonus.
  • Reworked the Brynn Alchemist’s stock.
  • Fixed the situational crash caused by using “Flexible Defense”.
  • Fixed the possibility of using the Messenger Pigeon with Alt+Click in situations where it shouldn’t be allowed.

Brutal Bible Bloodbaths - LifesPlayer
In most Worms games there are Holy Hand Grenades where the Hallelujah Chorus plays. These grenades have been added to the inventory screen in BBB or you can press "4". When the explosions have victims it goes in slow motion though the explosions can also kill you. To improve the framerate the explosions can only kill the 3 closest lifeforms even if it is very crowded.

Dokimon: Quest - YANA
Hi guys! I've been super hard at work on adding this new region to the DQ map and I believe we've finally ironed out enough to start spreading the word.

I'm also extremely excited to say that achievements have been fixed and confirmed working by several players. All achievements should fire upon loading into your save, however, there is 1 or 2 that you may need to do again to complete (however, thankfully these two achievements can be completely very quickly).


With the addition of this map, we can find a lot of new characters that we weren't able to discover in the Xelos region. Additionally, rare monsters have been made more accessible as a reward for making it to the new area~

You will find lots of fun surprises here, including over 20 "new" trainers, some new items, and countless new NPCs with flavorful text.

The new map also adds several new areas, including both routes and towns, and music. The area is accessible after the main story is completed (when your save file reads 98%) and you must collect 4 specific monsters to unlock the portal.

These monsters are special monsters that can only be found in pink grass and may need to be trained and leveled and evolved to meet requirements.



You can keep track of which monsters you have (or don't have) based on the crystal surrounding the portal. The gemstone inside the crystal's supporting pillars will be lit when the corresponding monster has been obtained. When all four gemstones are lit, the portal will be enterable.


I'm still working on adding some trainers and NPCs to some areas, as well as some other additional content (and various QoL tidbits) that I have planned for the game in general, but over all I'm quite proud of this update and thought it would be decent timing to make an announcement^^

It's been difficult to find the time to work on Dokimon: Quest since I left my main home on December 8th, but I've been doing what I can to squeeze in dev time here and there during my little vacay ;)


I'll be continuing to work when I can like I have been, and also returning home on January 8th where I will be returning to working full time.

Some things I currently have on my to-do list before I finish up with updating D:Q and move on to new projects:

- Tenshou Tower : This is a place where battle lovers can play against the odds for big rewards
- Player Home: I will be adding a customizable home(s) / location(s) and items to fill them with
- Character Outfits: I'm going to be adding several "outfits" that you can get to change your looks
- Accessories: I want to add some cute accessories you can toggle on your characters, like hats or capes
- Fast Travel: The worldmap / quest log is being completely reworked, after it's finished we'll add "flying"
- ????

What else? Who knows~ maybe I'll end up adding in some more nice things! For now, this is everything on my horizon for THIS game. I will be working on other projects (new and old) starting in January when I expect all of these items to be completed, tested, and in the final game :)
