Mongirl Conquest v0.2.8 is up for download! Queen Adia wants to hold a special lesson for you and she won’t take no for an answer. Let’s see what’s new aside from the usual story update.

MonGirl Conquest v0.2.8 has 3 new scenes. Tongue-twister gets her new missionary. You can check it out in this post. Queen Adia get her new cowgirl H scene. Here’s the preview. And finally, Cordelia gets her titfuck/paizuri scene. You can see it here.

Cordelia’s scene posed a new kind of challenge with the dynamic background since she’s a mermaid, and we can’t just pull her out completely from the water. At least not now. Plus we decided to test out an idle “after scene” animation. This puts extra strain on the animation plugin, but test runs gave us no problems on different hardware and software combos we had available. Still, if you encounter performance issues during her scene – contact me with details via yeehawgames@gmail.com.

Also, Cordelia’s scene will start out as animation only and will get the narrative variation later. Her original author didn’t have the time to finish the text part for the scene before the release date, but you can expect it to pop up in the next one.

New features and activities

Cordelia gets the third step in seaside cave journey with some optional content. This time you’ll get to fight along the mermaid. Thankfully, her water magic is just the thing you need to overcome all problems and get the ultimate reward – mermtits! I mean you’ll get a choice of several magic items too, but we all know why we are helping the fishy.

There’s an optional branch with a puzzle and special combat encounter for 100% clear fans. You don’t need to rush it in one go, though. You can return to this cave after leaving by interacting with Cordelia’s usual spot during evening. So, take it in your own pace.

A new girl joins the cast. Namely, earth elemental. She won’t appear immediately, but in the new winter zone that will be open for exploration in the next update.

Added a new set of clothes with defensive skill that improves both normal and magical defense at the same time. If you have trouble figuring out boss patterns (like with the golem), it will help to mitigate incoming damage.

Added a new sound pack for titfuck scenes. After some polishing and playtesting, it will be in all titfuck encounters in the game instead of the placeholder for doggy/missionary sex. It includes a new ending sequence too.

Small fixes and improvements

Fixed a specific error if the player tried to exit the desktop version of the game via the main menu.
Some minor spelling corrections for dialogues and journal entries.

Fixed a bug that displayed a black screen instead of a scene in some cases when you started them in your house via evening dates. If you still get this effect – contact me with details.
Adjusted some map geometry to improve character pathing.

Fixed a possibility for Queen Adia’s titfuck scene to loop around for the second playthrough instead of ending properly.

A Few Words

This patch required a huge physical effort in terms of concentration. The card system required a lot of coding work. For the first in-game event, located in the Ice Village at the top left of the map, you can find exclusive and unique items.
The Christmas event will run until January 15, 2025.
After that, I will take a small break for now regarding updates. I am struggling to keep up with the progress of the milestone path. The lack of puzzles and motivation is holding me back from continuing with patch 10.
I don't know when patch 10.30 will be released, but what I can tell you is that I will continue the adventure with corrective patches and improvements for my game. However, I will take my time to release a quality update with content.
I will be taking advantage of the winter holidays to recharge and come back with more energy for the next patches.

Gameplay Changes

Removed the item drop on the Forgotten Spearman, which previously dropped level 49 gear.
Reduced the drop rate of HP and Magic boosts in Chapter 7.
The card system is back and fully operational.
Balance Changes
Minor adjustment to the final bosses.
Buffs
The archer's attack "Mowlalk Shot" has been improved. It now goes from:
a.atk * 4 - b.def * 2 → a.atk * 5 - b.def * 2.

Nerfs

Sword Dance nerf: a.atk * 6 - b.def * 2 → a.atk * 5 - b.def * 2, and the speed is reduced by 10. The TP cost increases from 30 to 35.
Nerf to "Magic Missile": 200 + a.mat * 2 - b.mdf * 2 → 110 + a.mat * 2 - b.mdf * 2.
Nerf to the "Volent Blow" skill: the number of repetitions goes from 5 to 4, its PT gain drops from 4 to 1, and its speed is reduced from 0 to -20.
Nerf to the Mage's "Battle Hit": a.atk * 5 - b.def * 2 → a.atk * 4 - b.def * 2 / Nerf to speed: from 0 to -10.

Bug Fixes

In the town in Chapter 6, the image for the armor shop has been fixed.
The teleportation to the shop has been corrected to appear in the correct position in front.
Fixed the door bug in Chapter 7.
Increased the drop rate of the Blue Stone in Chapter 1.

This minor update adds a 'Baby Storm' accessory which was teased in the previous post.



Minor issue: For the accessory to unlock for a new game in the main menu, a restart is required, but it is not necessary when unlocking it for older save files (which is the case most of the time).

Although it was fun to let the game idle on the main menu and watch the settlers multiply to crazy numbers on a tiny dock, I've received reports that it made the main menu lag, so they're now capped at 50.

Hi folks, we hope you're having a fine festive season!

Here's what we've been working on:

New Unlockables
  • Orbiting Energy Orbs: Once you summon these, they will circle around you, absorbing hits from small projectiles and striking opponents. The blueprint drops from certain mages.

  • Dasher (Character Background): Replaces your dodge roll with a midair dash that knocks back and damages opponents.

  • Two new achievements: Turret Hacker and Bowler

Dodge roll rework
  • Now useable in midair
  • Can evade small projectiles.

End Game Content
  • Adjustments to final boss ranged attacks, immunities and friendly fire
  • Ending title card added
  • Caldera Core has a new challenge room before the final boss.

Localization
  • Various related UI and alignment fixes.
  • Fixes for missing phrases in boss dialog.
  • Portuguese Translations (translations are currently based on the Brazilian version of Portuguese).

More Quality of Life Changes
  • 100s of additional words of dialog for Hub NPCs.
  • Silex the Scavenger can now appear in any area you've rescued another NPC from (not just Mantle's Edge).
  • Minimap rework.
  • Updated animated character portraits for the Wanderer and Silex.
  • Blink reworked to be easier on the gamepad: Slows down time and player's momentum more, suspending you in midair until you execute the ability.
  • Reworked Dodge Roll to be useable midair and dodge small projectiles.
  • Various localization and text alignment fixes
  • Fixed multiple missing glyphs for capital letters in Spanish and Portuguese in the main font.
  • The tutorial has been updated to be more forgiving.
