We are super happy to announce that this new update brings AMD FSR3.1 to Shredders across all platforms.

This allows the game to run at roughly 25% higher frame rates with the same quality settings, especially on resolutions above 1080p, up to 4k. You can activate FSR 3.1 in the game options.

This update also contains a few bug fixes reported by the community in the last weeks.

Hi!

First, we would like to thank you for being part of this amazing community! We are excited to announce that Update 1.2 is now available!


To summarize, this is the 12th update since the game's release. Over the course of these updates, we’ve improved and fixed more than 150 issues! The game is now better optimized, more balanced, has fixed bugs, and features new additions. We invite you to start your adventure in the world of Moon Mystery alongside Toby!



You can now play using a gamepad! While this is partial controller support, as the game was originally designed for mouse and keyboard and is best played with them, the entire game is still fully playable from start to finish with a controller. Remember, you can enable or disable aim assist for controllers in the settings at any time!



Based on your feedback and extensive playtesting, we’ve made many small tweaks to the game, including adjustments to:
  1. Ammunition
  2. Damage (for both players and enemies)
  3. Health (for both players and enemies)
  4. Stamina
These minor improvements across the board have enhanced the overall experience, making the game feel more balanced and enjoyable!


We did another fix for attachments. Some achievements, which were particularly tricky to address as they affected only a very small number of players, have been temporarily hidden to ensure that everyone can fully enjoy unlocking achievements. Thank you for your understanding and continued support!



We’ve also made numerous improvements to the game’s translations. Lines that were previously untranslated are now fully translated, and we’ve refined existing translations to make them sound more natural and polished.


  • Fixed a crash on the submarine level (additional patch applied).

  • Resolved an issue where objects couldn't be picked up with the scanner equipped.

  • Fixed a strange behavior when pausing the game during anomalies while driving the sedan.

  • Corrected human banners appearing in the background of the robot city.

  • Addressed a visual bug in the underwater base when controlling a missile.

  • Fixed life bar not decreasing initially when shooting the machine gun turret.

  • Removed an unfairly placed drone on the ice planet near the sliding big ice rock.

  • Fixed an invisible wall on the ice planet.

  • Enlarged the final door in the last ice planet puzzle to fit properly.

  • Fixed incorrect icons for gamepad graphics in settings; RS and LS were swapped.

  • Resolved a bad single frame appearing in the final cutscene.

  • Fixed the "Save after destroying pillar" bug where the laser puzzle save prevented the arena door from
    opening.

  • Fixed a floating cosmonaut costume when jumping into a wormhole.

  • Fixed a bug where the reset vehicle button displayed incorrectly as "B" instead of "R" on the keyboard.

  • Updated tutorials for switching vehicle cameras using a gamepad.

  • Improved default sensitivity settings for gamepad controls.

  • Adjusted sensitivity on the gamepad to ensure better responsiveness.

  • Updated all in-game prompts to display the appropriate gamepad button icons (e.g., "Press X to interact" instead of "Press F").

  • Improved visual feedback for quick saves; the yellow line no longer appears on the sedan vehicle.

  • Reduced difficulty on the alien landscape by removing one sniper robot from the train section.

  • Fixed the weapon printer animation on the UFO base.

  • Optimized the rendering of the Black Star 2 base to avoid visible loading when destroying distant
    pillars.

  • Removed placeholder cube from the alien landscape.

Our entire indie team is closely monitoring the layoff statistics. In 2023, there were over 10,000 layoffs, and in 2024, reports indicate that more than 17,000 layoffs have occurred.

Our entire team is currently focused on completing the vertical slice of the project and refining mechanics such as the Karaoke and Dialogue Systems.
We are also working on creating fully explorable locations where players can search for secrets and complete quests from a first-person perspective.

The more players wishlist the game, the more free rewards will be unlocked for everyone at launch and after.

Goal 1: 2,500 Wishes - "Paper Crane"

This chapter introduces a new mysterious antagonist known as Origami. Kumi is tasked with traveling to an abandoned subway station, where she must confront this eccentric enemy who transforms everything around him into origami figures. The official soundtrack for Karoshi Club will also feature a music track titled “Origami Theme.”

Goal 2: 5,000 Wishes - "Summer Hats"

In the world of Yomi, Kumi can discover cute hats for her beloved pet, July the larva. Back in her apartment, Kumi will have the opportunity to try on all the hats she finds.

Goal 3: 7,500 wishes - “Work Incidents”

Work-life in Keneō Industry will include additional random events to make each working day memorable.

Goal 4: 10,000 Wishes - "Burning Sands"

After finishing the game's main storyline, players will unlock an additional chapter that delves into the backstory of one of the heroes from Karoshi Club, named Burny. The official soundtrack for Karoshi Club will also feature a new music track titled "Burny Theme."

Goal 5: 12,500 wishes - “Karaoke for Two”

The “Karaoke” game activity will add two new music tracks. Two music tracks will also be included in the official soundtrack for Karoshi Club.

Goal 6: Achieve 15,000 Wishes - "Love and Death"

Kumi will finally have the opportunity to fall in love, even after death. Accomplishing this goal will unlock the ability to form relationships with one of two co-workers from Keneō Industry and reveal unique story missions.

The challenge will last until April 2025.

If some goals are completed after the deadline, some rewards may be unlocked differently after the game is released. Additionally, new goals can be added after achieving the last goal.

🕹️ Minigame Changes
☁️ Freefall Frenzy
The highly work-in-progress Freefall Frenzy got its first new "floor" called 'Beam'! 📏

The new procedural floor-system will allow us to gradually add more content over time, similar to the dance-system in Disco Disorder, or the question-system in Twisted Trivia! ✨

Because 'Beam' is a very easy floor, we've increased the amount of floors spawned 2x as compensation, leading to more action. 💥

🏠 Condo Changes
🧱 New Walls
Finally, after much request, we've added WALLS! Or I should rather say Wooden Panels, since they can also be used as floor & ceiling. 🔨🧐

Speaking of ceilings, your newly created ceilings also need some light! So we've also added Ceiling Lamps. 💡

Get Wooden Panels today by buying the 'Walls' ensemble, or get lucky opening a furniture crate! 🍀📦

📏 New Grid / No-Clip Mode
You may wonder why it took us so long to add simple walls, but that's because we always knew that alongside walls we'd need to add a new manipulator mode to allow you to snap them together! ⚙️

And so we did! Use Grid mode (by default CTRL) while holding a furniture to allign it to the grid, both location & rotation. ALSO, there's no furniture collision while in Grid mode, allowing you to put objects inside of each other for the first time! 😯🪄

We can't wait to see what you guys will build, and to get some inspiration, make sure to check the next section! 🤩

⚠️ Wooden Panels are very orange, but will become paintable after the painting mechanic is added.

  • Beware! Customers can now steal from you. Keep an eye out for runners and hit them with your trusty baseball bat to make sure they don't get away.
  • Jump animation is now fixed. Your friends no longer fly

  • Furniture prices are now set. You can no longer get them all with just 10$

My other game, Fortune Avenue, just got a major update! For those who haven't heard about it yet, imagine Monopoly reinvented with modern twists that keep the game fresh and exciting.
