This update brings you new venues, a significant update to career mode, quality-of-life improvements, and more.
Below are the patch notes for update 1.2, shipped on 12 December 2024.
New Venues
- Added Cambrian Hall. Located in the heart of England’s Capital and draped in rich boxing history, fighting at this venue is every prospect’s dream. - Added Atlantis, an underwater aquarium-like venue, located on the ocean bed. Can you keep your composure in the ring when you’re deep underwater?
New Cosmetics
- All players will receive an additional free outfit for Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk – recreate their historic first fight in all its glory with their fight-accurate outfits.
Career Mode
- Introduced the ability for players to move up and down a weight class from their starting weight class. We know this is one a lot of you have been asking for and we’re excited to see you step up to the challenge of becoming Undisputed in not one, not two, but three weight classes with the same fighter!
- Introduced the esteemed boxing correspondent Gareth A Davies to the Career Mode media feed, the first in a series of real-life media figures and brands.
- Made a range of quality-of-life improvements to the career mode’s UI.
General Changes
- Introduced Cruiserweight, Bantamweight, and Light Heavyweight queues to online quick fight and online ranked.
- Added new knockdown and knockout animations.
- Added an animation that plays when a fighter’s block health has been depleted, giving players better visual feedback during gameplay.
- Slightly reduced stamina cost on missed punches and on power punches to make combination and pressure fighting a more viable option.
- Made a range of quality-of-life improvements to game audio and commentary.
- Made performance optimisations to custom characters.
- Fixed an issue that meant players that quit out of online games on PlayStation weren’t being punished, and the win was not being correctly awarded to the remaining player. This now works as expected.
- Plenty of other bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements.

Our Season 39 ended yesterday and we want to take a quick moment to celebrate the Top 25 the last two seasons - shame on me for forgetting it the previous month.
We also updated the results of the daily rides in our season ranking sheet!
A few people have asked if the Daily Rides seasons for Downhill will continue next year. And the answer is definitely yes! We will post the season roadmap for 2025 in January.
In other news, we will turn off the multiplayer for the Snow Riders Demo on Monday. So if you are still working on that Level 10 outfit, this weekend will be your last chance!
You can still play the Singleplayer and go for the leaderboard best-times but we have to do some server work before the release.

Build 0.350 for Monastery is now available! This update introduces Dagger variants, various visual upgrades, bug fixes, and improvements. Check out the details in the release notes below. New Gameplay Mechanics
Combo: Playing a card generates 1 Combo. Combo resets at the start of your turn. Cards that consume combo don't generate any.
Finishing Move: At the end of the turn a Finishing move is performed to the direction the player is facing.
Momentum: Every card played earlier in the turn grants a card using this mechanic a bonus.

General Improvements and Fixes
The Miner King’s start-of-turn ability has been fixed — the player now draws one less card, since the scrap card is added at the beginning of each turn.
The Miner King’s start-of-turn popup has been updated.
Descriptions in the Hydra Panel popup have been reworked.
The Pummel card no longer incorrectly retains bonuses after being played.
At the start of battles, the game now displays whether the encounter is Elite or Boss if applicable.
The Map Run Preview has been updated — you can now track the status of other bosses alongside the selected one.
New elite variation images have been added to both the map and battles.
Fixed an issue with panel handling for Machine Bosses, ensuring no errors occur when they gain charges at the start of a battle.
The maximum value for Master of XY has been set to 5. (e.g. Master of Broadsword)
Fixed the damage display for Attack cards on the enemy HP bar — it now correctly includes Power and Weakness modifiers.
The Berserker Stance has been fixed — it now correctly removes Protection.
The Cave Bear’s sub-action icon has been fixed and no longer greys out while still Immortal.
The Iron Cannon explosion VFX timing has been updated.
Upon Player Defeat, the Exit to Menu/Exit to Desktop buttons are now disabled to prevent premature exits.
Fixed an issue with the Tutorial where pressing the Abandon button would cause the game to freeze.
The Abandon button has been updated in battles; it can no longer be clicked during defeat/victory screens or while it’s the enemy’s turn.
The Killed by text has been removed from the end battle stats if the run was abandoned.
Fixed the Abandon Banner position when the camera shifts due to a large number of enemies.
Known Issues
Defeating the last enemy sometimes doesn't end the battle.
Plans for Upcoming Patches
Crossroads Visual Upgrade: Events will receive a visual enhancement. Event options will include illustrations.
Collection Update: Unlockable bonus for collected items
Pistol Content Update: A new pistol item will be developed, featuring new abilities and a wide range of new cards.
Controller Support: Full controller functionality will be implemented.
Swamp Map and Enemies: A new swamp area and its associated enemies will be introduced, completing the 4th region.
