Prominence Poker - Pipeworks Forerunner
To keep the tables fun, fair, and welcoming for everyone, the Pipeworks team recently rolled out new moderation efforts aimed at making the game a quicker and healthier experience for players. Here’s what you need to know:
Anti-Disruption Measures
Abusing the sit-out feature is a no-go. This is something we’ve received plenty of complaints about over the past few months. With the recent changes, players engaging in this behavior may now face bans. Specifically, timing out on a sit-out more than twice will result in a temporary ban from online play.
Attempting to utilize development commands within the retail version of the game will result in an automatic, non-appealable ban. Our servers automatically block development commands in live environments.
Additionally, our DDoS protection will swiftly issue bans to those who attempt to attack our servers in order to safeguard the experience for everyone.
Tutorial Rewards Update
The tutorial is designed as a one-time experience to help new players get started. Going forward, REP and loot cases will no longer be granted from the first-time user experience.
Scams & Chip Selling
Selling chips or participating in scams undermines the integrity of the game and will result in bans, as always.

To those who have reached out about bans, we are working our way through your inquiries and unbanning some players who have received too harsh of a penalty.
