We’re honored to have been selected for Steam’s GAMES IN ITALY event, so a big thanks to the IIDEA association for making it happen!

The event will run from November 21st to 25th, featuring a lineup of amazing games with that unmistakable Italian flair— like pizza, coastlines, and terminators(?). You can check out the showcase by clicking HERE.



While we’ll drop a dedicated announcement soon, we want to let you know that these are the final days to try the Concept Demo of Glasshouse. After 9 months, this build has done its job, and with plenty of water having flowed under the bridge, we’re officially setting our sights on 2025. Trust us, the new year is going to have a lot in store for you.

Battle Changes
Battles are now turn-based instead of being a button-mash simulator. You can now fight multiple monsters back to back with each giving different rewards (money, minerals, chests). Equips work more like Super Miners and are granted from Battle Chests which you can find in the world, in battles, or by purchasing in the shop. You can now have multiple of the same equip and can scrap them to get Weapon scrap which you can use to upgrade your slots or the equips themselves. There are also two new battle consumables: one that heals you by 20% during a fight, and one that lets you draw cards from your discard. Several battle relics have been adjusted to work with the new system.

Gem Forge changes
You can now dedicate workload to gems and they will automatically craft. The higher the workload the less time it takes for them to craft. Gems are now used for upgrades instead of equips. Gem Upgrades increase your health, max energy, energy regen, max cards in hand, and card draw per turn for battles.

Extended Titan
Titan has now been extended to its final depth of 750km and now has a trading post. There have also been significant balance adjustments to the price scaling and strength of the existing drills. You may find that you are able to skip a few tiers if you have been saving for a long time.

Scientists changes
The scientists now have a new scrollable UI. You can now view all your active scientists in a single window organized by progress, with completed excavations at the top, followed by inactive scientists and ongoing excavations. There is also a new relic scrap system, which can be used to trade for additional relics. Relics can be scrapped from the inventory window, or when discarding them at the end of an excavation. In addition to those changes, resurrecting scientists will now also grant you the excavation reward!


Other Changes

  • The illuminating crown now shows the description for excavations as well.
  • New cave consumables.
    • One that sends out a fleet of drones all over the cave for half the fuel cost.
    • One that reveals the whole cave.
  • You can now click on super miners in the world.
  • The ufo hitbox is no longer difficult to click on PC and now the UFO will actually spawn on mobile.
  • Magnetic drones will no longer pull items into hazards unless the items were in a hazard to begin with.
  • The Healing Drone is now an absolute tank, even faster, and heals more.
  • The time until depth now has a real time estimate that goes based off of your rate of acquiring timelapse (With further improvements coming in another update).
  • Tooltips for minerals in the crafting window now have some text telling you to click them to lock them.
  • Fixed a bug where basic chest were giving less money than they were supposed to with higher level Mining Speed Potion buffs.
  • Adjusted a few quests to grant ethereal and battle chests as rewards.
  • Mineral deposits now have a nice glow to them when hovered.
  • Added a special quote that says how red names are obtained when a red name miner is double clicked.
  • The shop is now organized into categories to make it easier to navigate.
  • The Ethereal chest in the shop now has an info button that says how likely you are to get different drops.
  • Added new shortcuts for the Super Miner window (M) and Chest collector (X).
  • There should no longer be invisible mineral deposits on Titan.
  • Buffed the earlier levels of the chest compressor. Nerfed the later levels a little bit.
  • Premium miners now have a new message explaining how to unlock your own.
  • The tooltip in the buff lab now displays the right amount of missing energy when your buff lab is higher than level 1.

Guard ⚔ — A classic warrior, skilled in close combat.
Archer 🏹 — A ranged expert, hitting targets directly unless something blocks his aim.

Kemopop! - KEMOHAUS


We're on the home stretch!! Shiori is provided by new guest artist, Kurus Kururu!!! Bee has a second stage, once again provided by Behamu!!!

The ninth campaign character, Kappu, has been introduced!! He's Chino's boss.... and he's got a problem; help him fix it!!

All three (yes, definitely only three... ~w~) of these stages implement a new gamemode for experienced players: Time Attack!! Time Attack stages require you to reach the Clear line in order to add time and stay alive. If the countdown clock runs out, it's Game Over!! Time Attack is aimed to encourage a different playstyle, forcing you to play a little more precisely.

Special Guests are now integrated into the game's progression system, and will have unlock requirements.

Miscellaneous
  • The gamemode tag, if there is one, is now shown on the character overview.
  • Transitions between scenes have been improved.
  • The character unlock screen has been updated.
  • The intro for Suika stages has been polished.
  • A new sound effect has been added for when a Refill is performed.
  • Several new achievements have been added!
  • The appearance of the gradients on the settings and bio overlays have been improved.
  • The sweet highlight effect (when using a special weapon) has a new animation.
  • "Mocha's Samba" has been replaced with a new song. An expansion to the OST will arrive later.
  • Balance: Lambun's stage has been made more difficult.
  • Fix: On Sencha's stage, Pop sounds were playing twice.
Pricing Change
As of this update, the sale price of Kemopop! has been raised to the final value of $4.99. This value covers what we believe is fair, given the amount of extra work put in since the last price adjustment, and the niche audience of the game.

This won't raise any higher, as Kemopop! is almost complete.

The Future
The official "full" release of Kemopop! is around the corner. However, this does not necessarily mean the end of new content.

Achievement Icons: The plan is to make unique icons for every achievement, to replace the placeholder icons on Steam. These icons will then be reused in-game, on the Achievements screen. The current Steam achievement icons for characters have been updated to fix issues with transparency.

Translations: These are starting to fall behind. I'll be asking our volunteers to have another look.

Extra Stages: Sorry, not sorry, achievement hunters!! We're going to continue adding more stages!!!! Both new Special Guest and Campaign stages are planned, even after the game is outta Early Access!!

Sorry for the rocky launch! I think I've fixed all of the reported bugs that were made over on our Discord. Thank you so much for checking the game out and for your patience. You should be on Version 0.5.9c now (shown in the title screen to the top-left).

Mineral Defense - Filthy Casual
Hi all! Hope you are having fun with the new missile towers!

This patch is just a small one to fix some memory issues in the game that will help performance and crashes.

Changelog:
- No longer excessively allocating memory for certain UI elements.
Life Saver - ZaxtorGameS

For the second time today, "Life Saver" is slowly getting better with another update!

- Added Steam leaderboards with the ability to showcase the top 1,000 highest scores right inside the game! The leaderboards can be seen after every game you play and also seen immediately from the welcome screen.

- Changed the layout of the function buttons on the welcome screen and also connected gamepad button functionality to them so each option can easily be accessed by a gamepad.


Next up in the plans for this game is to slowly start making the changes seen in the 'dev log #2" video that can be watched right here on the Steam page or at my 'Zaxtor99' Youtube channel.
