We are super pumped to announce the release of our first Helping the Hotties DLC called Storytime.
Storytime brings four new stories that focus on specific characters from the Helping the Hotties game. Some stories give us flashbacks of the events that happened before the game. Other stories bring what-if moments and explore situations that are not linked to the main story.
The Storytime DLC is translated to all the supported languages and can be synced to Lovense interactive toys for a more immersive experience. The stories also include short voiceover lines that enhance the character dialogues.
But that’s not all! We also added a new translation, 🇧🇷 Brazilian Portuguese 🇧🇷. Now you will be able to enjoy our game with Brazilian Portuguese subtitles.
I started living as an independent game developer in December 2019 as Rectangle Eyes. At that time, I was somewhere between an amateur and a professional; I didn’t really know what I should do as a professional.
The name says it all. By mathematical definition, a square is a type of rectangle, but you see, nobody calls a square a rectangle in everyday life. I’m not sure how many people care about mathematical terms, but I care, at least.
RE would turn 4 years old this coming December, so I think this is a good time to change the name and move to the next, higher dimensions.
The name has changed, but my focus remains on creating 90s-style video games. I’m still the same mysterious developer, Laskow, so you can call me Laskow as usual. Just remember, Laskow’s new studio name is now about 4-dimensional stuff!
We want to sincerely apologize for the frustration and disappointment caused by the recent update to Flag Clicker, particularly regarding the changes to the achievement system. We understand how important achievements are to many of you, especially those who have spent significant time and effort working toward them.
Unfortunately, our decision to adjust the achievements led to the loss of progress for many collectors, and for that, we are truly sorry. We’ve also heard accusations of scam-like behavior and claims that we made these changes solely for financial gain. We want to be transparent: this is not the case. As of now, Steam has not paid us a single euro for our work on the game, and we are actually €180 in the negative.
Moving forward, we are committed to improving our communication with you. Before making significant changes to the achievement system or other major aspects of the game, we will ensure to inform you early and seek your input. Your feedback is invaluable to us and will help shape the future of the game.
Regarding our plans, we’ve already applied to Steam to increase the achievement limit, and we’re working on exciting updates such as adding music to the game and introducing a crafting system. We’re passionate about continuing to develop Flag Clicker and want it to be an enjoyable experience for everyone.
Once again, we deeply regret the impact this update has had on our community. We are learning from this experience and are determined to do better. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support.
