At long last, our newest game is now available! Neo Harbor Rescue Squad brings fresh paramedic action and lets you save lives as a rookie paramedic today!
As we celebrate launch, here are a few key things you'll want to know about the game:
1) It targets 4K/60fps on suitable hardware
Yes, it's our first 4K game! We wanted the bright, colourful artwork and animation to really shine, so on capable systems (see the requirements on the main store page) the game can run up to native 4K resolution. Of course, in the Options menu, you can choose a variety of resolutions in both 16:9 and 16:10 ratios.
2) It's fully localized in English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese
Given that vibrant Neo Harbor City is inspired by co-designer Nancy's home town of Hong Kong, we wanted to make the game accessible to our Chinese-speaking friends and family. The localization team managed to even work in some language-specific puns!
3) It was designed with Steam Deck in mind
Neo Harbor Rescue Squad runs at native 1280x800 resolution on Steam Deck and is fully controller-driven there, so if you have one, be sure to give it a go! We also are fans of Valve's portable system, so we wanted to make sure it was ready on day one.
Thanks for all your support so far. If you like the game, please leave a review! And if you have any issues, feel free to report them in the Tech Help discussion category.

Hi Everyone. We wanted to share just one of the many features we’re working on right now for our next big update.
Internally, we call it Prosperity, but it’s best described as pretty much a full overhaul to how villages interact with each other and adding more life to the world. This next update will introduce a dynamic environment where the safety and control of areas around the map will provide direct benefits to the neighboring towns. We’ve added a few bonuses as well to the upkeep and management of these towns through this system.
This affects many new aspects of what towns provide including
Villagers increasing population size + better traits
Militia recruited as temporary mercenaries
New town improvements with unique effects
New trading options for more resources depending on the nearby bandit threat.
With the new village status you can see all the potential villagers for hire, what improvements you’ve added, and the current militia available to help you defend the territory.
VIllage improvements can be used to directly affect the prosperity of that population. In this example, the archery range will add +5 Archers to the pool of militia available for hire.
The safety of the territory is important and any nearby enemies will contribute to the overall threat level of the adjacent villages.
The more you can protect the villages, the more you will see your prosperity grow, giving further benefits down the line to help in liberating all of Karvenia. We’ve recorded a short video below to help you see all these new systems in action and we’ll make them available to you on our preview branch very soon.
We have a lot coming in our next big update for Bellwright. This is just one system of many that we’ll be adding along with bugfixes and other improvements. We promise it will be worth the wait!

Today we're back with a (short) devblog to talk about the elephant in the room. The "Endless" thingy.
Let's hero cape right down :)
The Endless Update
Like many of you have guessed, the "Endless Update" is about adding an Endless Mode to the game.
But there are many ways to implement such a system, so which direction did we go?
To Loop or not to Loop
The first major question we had to answer was "would the endless mode be based on playing another run while keeping all your perks from the previous one?". Basically "looping" through the game.
And the simple answer we came up with was "no".
Looping wasn't the best choice for the experience (in our opinion), a few examples of what bothered us:
After your first run, there would not be much more to give you without breaking the power ceiling in either way (you or the enemies)
The base path of the levels of the game and the quest (and other interactable) within are tailored to be encountered once per run, it doesn't make much sense to cross them several times in a row
The repetitiveness of seeing the same stages in the same order over and over would quickly become boring
That means we needed to come up with something different than just looping through the base game.
Then What?
It was weird to start by telling you what the Endless Mode isn't instead of telling you what it is, so let's correct this.
So… the Endless Mode is an alternate game mode, separate from the regular runs.
You unlock it after beating the final Boss for the first time (in Guardian 1 or above) or by crafting it directly with Wrenches at the Basecamp.
Starting an Endless Run works exactly like the regular ones: you choose a difficulty, a class and interact with the Endless Portal to start the run.
Then, you play through a endless series of levels, with some unique twists on them.
Those levels are shorts and enemy-packed, some have battle and challenge rooms while others don't.
Note that you can't complete quests or progress the story in this mode.
And that's it for this devblog.
We will be back shortly to talk more about what we have in store for the Endless Update.
We're participating in the Turn-Based Carnival and livestreaming Lost In Prayer directly on Steam. Livestream starts at 7PM CET / 1 PM EST.
I'll be playing the latest build from the game so you'll find some new elements from the Playtest. It won't be totally balanced just yet so expect me to die, unlock new characters and try again!
Tune in and ask your questions directly in the chat, I'll be here to answer.
From November 12 to 9:00 a.m. (CET) on November 26, challenge the inevitable and take control of the hands of time with the God Xelor Kit! Xelor's Divine Clock will unveil its secrets with the weekly rotation in the WAVEN Shop… Hurry, because time is ticking away!
Driven by curiosity, Xelor spent time contemplating the pulsations of the six Primordial Dofus and, inspired by their tempos, he created the Divine Clock which shaped the flow of time into something rigid and irrevocable. Thus, the year 0 was born, marking the advent of the passing of time – that precise instant where the past and the future intertwine in the World of Twelve.
The disciples of Xelor are the faithful guardians of this temporal web, capable of suspending the present and exploring the past to reshape the future. However, twisting the order of things is always a risky business; force things too far and you can be lost, with just a fraction of an hour, instead of changing everything…
Disciples of Xelor, don't let your mind wander elsewhere!
Join the ranks of WAVEN's legendary heroes and set the tempo with the God Xelor Kit, containing:
Xelor's Helm headgear
Desynchronisation halo
Minute Hand trail
Clock Gears tracks
Offered at the low price of just 1,400 gems (instead of 2,400, a 42% discount), this complete Kit is only available for a limited time!
Time is capricious but its secrets are within your reach. Give yourself the allure of the god Xelor by heading to the in-game Shop; don't let time tick away.*
Of course, it will continue to tick-tock along, but at least you'll be looking good as it does!
