Fixed sensitivity issue in gameplay and other minor bugs.

For today’s announcement we are happy to inform you that the amazingly talented, Amelia Jones, is joining us to help bring the world of Nullstar: Solus to life!

This is a major change, updating the default branch of the playtest to be synced with the beta version. Many changes have occurred since the last default update:

• Major revamp of collisions logic - you should no longer get stuck in geometry or on top of trash piles.
  
• Add checkpoint feature in main menu - in the rare event you do get stuck (possibly if you destroy a ring of trash around yourself), this feature allows you to warp back to a previous checkpoint.
  
• Add sprint feature - you can now run (temporarily) faster by holding SHIFT (left face button on controller).
  
• New demo ending splash screen
  
• General faster movement speed
  
• Improve performance of UI
  
• Add auto-advance text mode and settings for controlling this
  
• Add save file thumbnails
  
• Add continue / auto mode indicator to textbox
  
• Fix issue where Persis's shawl might clip through her shoulder
  
• Fix control tooltip issues on Steam Deck
  
• Fix some sounds not respecting the SFX slider
  
• Add new sound effects to certain weapons
  
• Fix issue where fragments could disappear while you were in dialogue
  
• Fix duplicate resolutions in graphics / display settings
  
• Fix issues where scrolling lists with keyboard or controller would not move scrollbars

Lord Captains! We are deploying a minor update to address some Void Shadows quest issues and give the players a bit more time to catch their breath after Act III before triggering the Void Shadows Act IV content.

Watch out for the possible spoilers below!

• In rare circumstances, it was possible to get Kibellah’s second quest in Act II rather than Act IV. It was fixed, but the fix will only be retroactive if you haven’t yet talked with Kibellah about the death of the officer. Otherwise you’ll need to load a game before this conversation for the quest to trigger properly in Act IV instead.
  
• Multiple quests and dialogues had a minor chance to break if a warp event popped up while they were active - fixed;
  
• The Genestealer attack event from the Void Shadows DLC now begins later in Act IV, to let the player catch their breath and level up a bit after returning from Commorragh.
