  • Players can now opt out of the Leader boards via an option at the top of the Leader boards screen
  • For match stats to count towards the Leader boards, there must be 12 human players in the match. Stats acquired in limited time events don’t count
  • Scrap Loota board no longer counts Scrap Boosts or daily challenge rewards
  • Gork’s chosen board now measures kills + assists instead of kills – deaths
  • Sawbonez board now tracks raw healing stats
NOTE: Leaderboards will keep getting reset through early access, but will not be reset ever again once the game launches v1.0
  • Switch team function now available for all players on the winning team, if they would like to help balance the match. Switching team is only available if the winning team is leading by a decent amount and the losing team doesn't have 2 more players than the winning team already
  • Deff Rally point bonus for getting a kill while holding the point has been increased back to 5 from 2. This only applies to the losing team
  • Reduced height of bomb spawn scrap piles in Kill Konvoy
  • Communication pings on the HUD no longer appear on enemies with hidden nametags due to stealth abilities
  • Quick comms messages can now be seen during respawn screen and end of match screen
  • Anonymous player names option added for those wanting to stream the game and not worry about offensive player names
  • When pinging an ally ("PROTECT DAT GIT"), their name now appears next to the message
  • Kill assist duration window increased to 10 seconds (from 7)
  • Air-time no longer included in MVP screen stats
  • Fixed total scrap calculation for player stats
  • Windowed mode now available (has issues, to be used at player's discretion)
  • Fixed a crash happening at the settings screen

Going Medieval - SeVerin
Greetings, medievalists! The newest patch (0.20.24) is now live on all platforms. Save your progress and restart your game client to update. You should be able to load normally and continue playing. If you have any problems, please let us know.

Bugs and Fixes
  • Fixed several crash occurrences.
  • Fixed the issues where prioritizing taming/recruiting/shackling via right click would direct settlers to a different animal/prisoner than the ones that have been selected.
  • Fixed the issue where a settler’s health bar doesn't disappear after it gets back to 100%.
  • Fixed the issue where settlers wouldn’t escort prisoners to their cells due to them waiting on the recruitment. Now, recruitment will only happen within prison cells.
  • Fixed the issue where prisoners that surrender while being on ladders would end up stuck there, along with the settler that attempted escort.
  • Fixed the issue where you could build stairs on locations with trees and without the need to cut those trees first.
  • Fixed the issue where copying/relocating Armour Rack would deselects Clothing and Body Armor on the new location, regardless of the original settings.
  • Fixed the issue where settlers wouldn’t close windows in some situations.
  • Fixed the issue where graves with bodies in them would never be hidden when moving down layers.
Known issues:
  • If your settlers are experiencing weird animations with some actions, be sure to turn off V-sync and cap the game's FPS in the game's options. Cap it to 60fps. If the issue persists, cap it at 30.
  • Assigned Pets don't sleep with owners.
  • Some items are missing icons and localization values.
  • Player-triggered events don't have sound effects
  • Settlers will not refuel torches if there is no floor/ground beneath them.
  • Settlers will not choose the closest production building (if there are more of the same type), but the one that has a production set first in the global list of productions.
DISCLAIMERS:
⚠️ We decided to keep Dev version of the game on the experimental branch, and that means that a Dev log with red text will appear from time to time. This will help us get more info from your side when crashes and bug reports occur.
⚠️ Also, at the moment, the experimental and the main branch are a bit different as experimental is helping us test memory leaks within the game. You should not play saves from the experimental branch on the main one as it can cause various bugs - please avoid doing this.

In today's update, we're adding a new town building, the town hall, that will allow you to purchase new land and travel to it.



This feature requires a signficant change in the save file format, so we're releasing it in a beta branch so people can opt-in for testing before pushing it to the main branch.

If no important issues are found, we'll probably publish the update to everyone on Monday.

Beta Branch instructions:
In order to join, from the Steam library, right click on the game->properties->Betas and select the Beta branch.

While the change should be smooth and we don't expect important errors, we recommend joining the beta branch only if you have a backup or are aware of the risk of damage to your save file.

It's not recommended to switch back to the public branch once you've joined the beta. This may cause data loss.

How to backup your save:
While the game automatically creates backups of your farms and other save data from time to time, and we don't expect a catastrophic save data loss, you may want to keep another one just in case. The easiest way is to go to settings->support->browse log files and creating a zip file of the "SteamStorage" folder.

New features:
  • Added Town Hall, where you can purchase new land and travel to it.

Improvements:
  • Added smoke to the farm tombstones.
  • Each splitscreen player will now see its own fairy.
  • Changed initial farm layouts to be slightly more flat in some cases. This only applies to new farms.

Smarter Helpers

Pressing the key to activate an AI worker will instantly let a hired hand take over, as before. Holding the button will offer you some additional settings, however.



The first of two modes, "AI worker", is dedicated to the functionality of your virtual helper. The ideal settings are already preselected and depending on the size and shape of the field, you can preview how exactly he will operate.

  • Working Width is based on the tool of the respective action that should be performed. If multiple tools are attached, you can customize the width to take overlaps into account.
  • Number of Headlands is set based on the machine and action, but can be changed, too.
  • Work the Headlands tells your helping hand if the defined area should be handled like the rest of the field (therefore cultivated, harvested, etc.) or just defined as lanes to turn vehicles, for example.

Switching from the AI Worker tab to the Steering Assist, a few other settings become available that allow you to customize how the field is handled by the steering assistant.

  • Working Width is again set in accordance with the tools used.
  • Number of Headlands is also customizable and automatically set to the selected tool.
  • Work Direction can be changed in degrees. In case you want to operate in a direction where you don't look at the sun at noon or something like that.
  • Side Offset can be changed in case you have tools attached with an offset, like certain mowers, for example.
  • Show Lines enables or disables the 3D lines you can see live on the field, whether you operate in third-person view or look onto the soil from within the cabin.





With the live display of the lines, you can always see what's happening when operating the machine. The HUD will display a "ready" indicator as part of the dashboard when you have aligned the machine to a line and can start.




A selected line is displayed in orange and will turn green as soon as you begin to drive. Meanwhile, the working width of your machine is depicted in blue lines. All lines still to do are displayed in white. They're greyed out as soon as they're done.
