HudSight - crosshair overlay - eXePert
Hello everyone! We have some great news for you!

In this update, the most exciting thing is that HudSight 2 in draw mode «Hooks» is once again compatible with games that use Easy Anti-Cheat. We have developed a special workaround that allows us to inject our DLL signed with an old digital certificate that is whitelisted by EAC.

The issue has now been resolved for games such as Rust, Fortnite, Apex Legends, Throne and Liberty, Hunt: Showdown 1896, The First Descendant, War Thunder, THE FINALS, ELDEN RING, Dead by Daylight, Squad, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, Crossout, Black Desert, VRChat, and many others that use EAC. Read the details at the end of this news.

We would like to remind you that we updated our digital code certificate in February, which needs to be whitelisted by Easy Anti-Cheat for our program to work correctly with their games. Unfortunately, after their transition to EPIC, we lost all contact with their staff and cannot reach anyone from them :(

Is this dangerous? Not at all. HudSight operates like an old whitelisted version when interacting with EAC-based games, and it does not contain any bad or unsafe «hacks».

Other changes in this release:
  • Fixed a bug where the selected crosshair was not marked as a favorite.
  • Improved compatibility for authentication and activation in Steam.
Helpful information!

We have created a file named games.txt containing a list of 75 popular games that use EAC anti-cheat. If your crosshair does not work in «Hooks» mode when launching a game with EAC and the game is not in the list, you can add the process manually. To do this, navigate to the root folder of HudSight at Steam\steamapps\common\HudSight\hooks\oldsign\ and open the file games.txt. Add the required process to the end of the file and report new games to support so they can be included in future updates. Please note that the program update will overwrite the file.

Unrailed 2: Back on Track - Indoor Astronaut
Hi everyone!

We directly pushed a new version fixing two crashes we saw happening. We're super sorry for that!

Changelog v-311-af31141:
- Crash fix: Crash when not accepting the privacy policy
- Crash fix: Crash fix for a certain languages (probably in the menu)

We also noticed crashes in the D3D12 backend - If that is your case, you should be able to start the "Safe Mode" startup option and can change they driver backend (eg to vulkan) in the settings there (note that those will only applied if you start again the normal version). Let us know if that is your issue and it helped for you.

Pennon and Battle will undergo maintenance at 5:00 PM (Pacific Time) on November 7th. During this maintenance, there will be an expected downtime of 1 hour. It is recommended that all players log out of the game in advance and log back in after the maintenance is complete.

Challenge Campaign
  • Added a new campaign gameplay for testing. Players can create the challenge campaign in single-player mode with "Normal" and "Nightmare" modes. In this campaign, you can choose Challenge Convenant to increase difficulty, and your challenge level will be recorded upon success

  • Added a building "Black Market". Able to buy and sell equipment in the "Black Market", applying in new-created campaigns only
  • Supported the "Mineral" locations displaying on the Mini-map, which could be adjusted in 'Map Settings"

The Inn-Sanity - Steppe Hare Studio
Hello! This patch has a lot of small but important fixes. But first, we want to mention our voice actors who made The Inn-Sanity possible.

During development, we used sounds recorded by the wonderful actress Jenny Glynn for our previous project, Crimson Snow. Unfortunately, we did not credit her – it’s a big mistake on our part, which we will fix in this patch. Thanks to her, many scenes with the Ghost and the White Lady became much more tense. Thank you!

We also want to thank the voice who breathed life into our main partner in the hotel, Robin. She is voiced by the talented actress Lindsey "Asesina" Harbaugh. She added charm to our game and made our stay at the hotel less lonely!

And now on to the patch!

List of changes:
• Corrections to the Chinese translation. We fixed a number of mistakes and places where translation was missing.
• Day 1. Our room. Added a small hint on the table.
• Day 2. We removed double subtitles from the dream scene.
• Day 3. Roof. Added improvements to the surrounding view.
• Day 3. The hallucination when we walk along the corridor has been changed. The paintings are animated, background accompaniment has been added, sounds from the paintings and the post-process has been changed.
• Day 3. The appearance of the neighbor's room has been changed: books, suitcases, papers, pens, trash have been added. The photo in the neighbor's room was changed. We also changed its location.
• Day 3. Now after the time given by the priest is out, the conversation begins.
• Day 7. Lobby and pool. A number of background sounds were changed, improving the environment. We also fixed several sound artifacts and added additional sounds.
• Day 7. The movements of the giant monster now shake the floor.
• Day 7. When we finish the conversation with Robin after the chase, she began to walk and talk almost without pauses. We added pauses and changed the order of a couple of phrases.
• Day 8. Robin is now calling us on the roof, so it's easier to find her.
• Day 9. We changed the sounds outside the window to match the new environment.
• Several sounds throughout the game were replaced to better match the timing of cutscenes and the environment.
• The particles of drops are now displayed correctly and have sound.
• The particles of short circuit sparks have been reworked. We also added sound to them.
• We added sounds for Robin's footsteps.
• We added the ability to view Credits from the main menu of the game. It’s a small feather at the right corner of the screen.
• We made many other edits to fix collision, decals, change the position of some objects and other things.

Hey everyone,

As we approach the end of 2024, it's time to give an update on our upcoming DLC. While our hope was to release it this year, it has become clear to us that it is an unrealistic target. We cannot announce its release date just yet, but we can be sure that it will take at least until next year to complete, and with good reason.



‘What is that good reason?’ we hear you ask. Well, let’s call it a habit at Lost Pilgrims. While developing large bits of content like the next DLC, we keep enriching them to have better density of content than previous releases. Part of this is organic, the rest is a deliberate attempt to push the envelope. In this case, the region is not going to be as large as the Bronze Desert of Sunfire and Moonshadow, but we are trying to do something special with depth. This includes stories, NPCs, enemies, varied and complex quests, improved reactivity, and so much more.

Needless to say, we shall keep you updated as things develop, writing here and on Steam about the DLC and how it is coming along. And of course, as we move closer to release, we’ll be introducing you to more folk like those pictured below, though we can promise they’ll not all be cannibals. We’ll ride the line between keeping your eyebrow raised and you cracking the code, because that’s what we love. However, the theme and location of the DLC is so telling that it’s quite difficult to reveal something without giving it all away.
