The Jungle Overlord, Bootstrap Island’s first boss, is not a fan of visitors... Prepare for an intense survival battle in VR as you face off against this formidable foe! Major Update 2: Overlord will be available really soon! Stay tuned for more news!
We are including the Blood Slot Regeneration system and a health rework. This is hugely experimental and we appreciate any bug reports or feedback. Even more when playing coop.
Maximum health is now 5. Players regenerate blood (health) per slot. This means that health slowly recovers, stopping at the maximum of the damaged blood slot. For example, if your health is 3.5 you will recover to 4, and if your health is 1.1, you will recover to 2, etc.
Enemy regular damage is still 1 entire slot, meaning that you will still lose that blood slot, However, enemies like myriads or friendly fire cause a fraction of a blood slot, so that damage can be easily recovered.
For example, it takes more than 5 hits to remove the health of an ally.
We are also notifying friendly fire warning when the injured ally is about to lose the blood slot.
This patch also includes crucial bug fixes, including:
- Breaking eggs and doors replication for mid-match joiners and when players play quite far from each other. - Joining as a client is now faster. - Fixed a bug where HUD took too much time to show up
New update: - New Content: New skins are available in Story Mode. [Tip: If you have completed Floral Fairy's mission in Chapter 4, talk to Marcel at Blossom Hall in Blossom Village] - Several fixes. Important: Now the Sun & Sky Bridge mission requires the correct amount of materials.
